FOLLOW THE SITE WIDE RULES: Please try to adhere to the general spirit of Reddiquette and Reddit Site Rules - remember that there's a human behind the screen! If you have issues with r/WWE rules, message the moderators to address.
SPOILER POLICY: Spoiler times run for 24 hours after a TV show or PPV ends. Anything that takes place on a TV show or PPV is a spoiler. It does not matter if it is a “real life event”, if it occurs on a live show or PPV, or is mentioned on a live show or PPV, it meets our definition of “spoiler”. If you post a spoiler, TAG YOUR POST as a spoiler. Do not post spoilers in the title of your posts. Do not post a photo with a spoiler, as not all platforms will hide the photo. While a TV show or live event is in progress, we create a discussion thread for the live event or PPV that is in progress.
WHY CAN'T I POST? When a show is live (TV/PPV/ETC), we lock the sub (until the next morning) so posts aren't allowed. This avoids spoilers for those who don't watch live. If you can't post, look to see if a show or PPV is airing live, and that's why.
NO TROLLING: Trolling is an instant ban. This includes on the sub and in the chat room. This also includes "WWE sucks, X promotion is better" trolling.
REPORT OFFENSIVE/SPAMMY/BAD CONTENT: This subreddit will be a better environment for new/discussion if substandard content is reported. You can send a link to the content via modmail or use Reddit's reporting system to report a post. This sub does not allow racist, offensive or pornographic content, including memes.
RESPECT OTHERS: r/WWE does not tolerate bigotry, sexism, racism, homophobia, or transphobia against members, or wrestlers. This includes discussion of male/female violence. We also do not tolerate disrespect or attacks towards r/WWE staff and admins. Disrespecting users will result in a 7 day ban. Disrespecting or attacking moderators and admins will result in a permaban. Disrespecting r/WWE or r/WWE staff on others subs or your personal account/profile will result in a perma ban. Also, attacking people because they like more than just WWE will result in a ban. People are allowed to enjoy and consume any content they desire, and we will not stand for attacks on those who enjoy other promotions.
"SHITPOSTING", KARMA FARMING & UNRELATED POSTS/MEMES/APPROPRIATE CONTENT/SEXUALIZING TALENT: Do not post random stuff just for karma. This especially applies to dumb memes that have nothing to do with anything. Admins and moderators reserve the right to remove memes that seem to be pointless. Shitposting will result in a ban. If it doesn't feel like it belongs here, it goes to r/WWEMemes. Also, this isn't a game sub. Video game stuff goes to r/WWEGames. Also, this sub doesn't exist to sexualize women, nor to comment on the appearance of WWE female performers ("hot", "sexy", etc). It's not a sub for "thirst traps", or to post horny pics. There are multiple other subs to obsess over women's bodies, or "who was the hottest" / "who's the hottest", we don't do that here.
NO STREAMING SITES: Do not ask for, post or share links to sites streaming PPVs and shows. Links will be deleted as spam and those sharing/asking for illegal stream links will be banned.
SELF PROMOTION POLICY: This subreddit does not allow self promotion. Do not use r/wwe to promote your social media, blog, website, Twitch, Discord, YouTube channel, or podcast. Violators will be banned.
NO POLITICS: This is a forum for discussion of r/wwe. Regardless of whether or not a US President has been related to WWE in some form, we do not allow political discussion here. There are plenty of subs out there for that. The only exception is when politics has a direct effect on WWE, such as Florida declaring WWE an essential business during the COVID-19 outbreak of 2020.
MAJOR TOPICS/MEGATHREADS: When a major event occurs, megathreads will be created to group discussion so they don't overtake the sub. All related discussion (predictions, etc) should be kept in this threads and individual created threads will be locked/removed. If a thread is locked/deleted and the user posts it again, this may lead to a ban. Those who disrespect, attack, or insult mods, staff, or the r/WWE sub for organizing minor threads into a megathread will receive a 7 day ban.
LEAKED RESULTS: Do not post leaked results of taped shows.
SELLING: Don't use r/WWE to sell your stuff or link to your auctions. This is a discussion forum, not a platform for you to sell your stuff.
REPOSTING REMOVED POSTS: If your post is removed, don't repost it, or post "why was my post removed". Review the sub's rules, or PM admin/mod staff at r/WWE to inquire.
AEW Discussion: Per the results of a vote by members of this sub, limited AEW discussion is allowed only if it is extremely relevant to WWE. This includes legitimate comparisons, as well as major WWE superstars debuting in AEW. AEW trolling will not be tolerated and those who do so will be banned.

Bc I don't think the WWE Championship or World Heavyweight Championship are restricted to just the men right?
What if Tiffany cashed in on Cody to become WWE Champion?
Didn’t see a topic, but triple h handed Cody something that said confidential eyes only.
Talk about a classic and also triple h mentioned if he needed help to call Roman (back in July)
Are they bringing back the winged eagle this weekend?
It honestly ruined his return in my opinion, no one wanted to cheer for that entrance, but when the music turned off and he was in the ring getting ready for the promo, everybody was chanting and cheering. Thank god WWE is splitting with Def Rebel.
Does anyone have this? They said it at Smackdown tonight and I can’t remember.
Street profits should of split at the top of their height. Now it feels like they have been treading water for far to long. But a split now wouldn't be as impacted as it was a year ago. What do yall think?
What would yall like to see. One more title run? Another i quit match? (if you know you know) Cm punk vs john cena? (All time classic) Or another Randy orton vs John cena match? What do yall want to see happen?
I've been a long time WWE fan and seen lots of champions. No disrespect to Cody Rhodes but I just can't buy him as world champion I think he wanted to end his story but in reality it was to finish his dads story.
Also do you feel like WWE have brought back Roman Reigns to keep Cody Rhodes relevant as champion?
I grew up in the 90s with a dad who hated wrestling, and the only thing I had access to was Nitro during the NWO era. If I was lucky my dad would let me catch half an hour of RAW.
I stopped watching soon after that but always go down rabbit holes reminiscing, watching old scenes, and learning about behind the scenes stuff.
I just watched Mr McMahon and it's got me really wanting to just go back and watch stuff right from the way back from the Hogan era.
I want to watch the characters and storyline developing. I want to Steve Austin turning up with long blonde hair and transforming into a badass. The Rock being a smiley faced new guy and turning into the cocky superstar.
Is there any recommendations for this? WWE network maybe? It's obviously not feasible to watch everything single episode of WWE which has ever aired, and now that i think about it this probably isn't possible. I wonder if anyone has ant suggestions?
Tiffany is real deal. With the latest news that WWE will be using licensed music Ariana Grande need to do a theme for Tiffany.
What we have now - totally def rebel crap.
7 ring song is perfect for Tiffany. Need the same vibe.

i watched summerslam with a couple friends who'd never seen wrestling before. they both loved it, but thanks to a slimy business practice you didn't get to see the summerslam hype packages during the program itself on peacock unless you paid up for the ad-free tier. so my friends had no context at all for any of the characters or storylines, which undoubtedly lessened the impact of everything they saw
i invited them over today again for bad blood. since they still have no context for any of the characters, i was going to watch the hype packages with them ahead of time on youtube. but they don't seem to exist! there are "road to bad blood" videos for each feud, but all of those videos are over an hour long so there's no way that will do
does anybody have any insight into this? will they be uploaded to youtube later today? will there just be no hype packages at all for bad blood? or does the fact that they aren't online yet mean they will be part of the program but won't have ads over them like they did at summerslam?
catching newcomers up for a ple shouldn't be this tricky!
in your opinion, Italian wrestlers will always be a stereotype of Italian culture, and there will be an Italian WWE champion. (Bruno Sammartino aside)
In your opinion, what was the best and worst PPV of each era?
Golden Era
New Gen
Attitude Era
Ruthless Aggression:
PG Era
New Era
Covid Era

Was watching a clip from the wwe vault of cena coming to NXT and I just couldn’t help but laugh at how bad this shirt is. Does anybody think the same? If not, what is the worse then this?

Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will team up with his former rival and the Superstar he dethroned at WrestleMania XL, Roman Reigns, in a battle against The Bloodline. Reigns made his triumphant return at SummerSlam to attack Solo Sikoa and attempt to reestablish control of The Bloodline, but The Original Tribal Chief was ultimately laid out by the combined forces of Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa in an explosive confrontation back on SmackDown. That attack left Reigns down and out, but he returned once again on the USA premiere of Friday Night SmackDown to help The American Nightmare stave off an onslaught. With the two rivals now allied, Rhodes and Reigns will join forces against Solo and The Samoan Werewolf in one of the biggest tag team matches ever. Don’t miss WWE Bad Blood, streaming live on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else.

I wanted to start a discussion on why i think Cm Punk needs to Main event Wrestlemania 41 night 2 , i feel like its only fair to have him close out the show of shows, whats your take on it guys?
I think the storyline was a good idea but they have went to far now making him go in a cage and letting rhea beat him up when he can't do nothing back which I find a bit unfair. I know I said that rhea and Dom should have a match but that was a joke.
I really think that rhea and Dom are both allowed to find each other equally or the both shouldn't fight each other. I never liked Dom but I feel sad for him getting battered by rhea every week and he can't do anything about it and I have started to dislike rhea because she's just getting annoying now. Idk if this is what they were trying to go for if they did they have done a really good job.
I know there are not enough matches for cena in his retirement tour that we all would love to see happen. There’s too many names to count we would love to see. However for me AJ and cena had unreal chemistry in the ring, as well as their promos. Even if it was a heavily promoted TV match, I would enjoy seeing these two run it back once more.
What about you?
I don't know if this is a Hot Take or not and we know we love how Triple H is handling WWE ever since Vince went away, but Triple H has ruined the tag team division on both Raw and Smackdown. He's fed the World Tag Team Titles to the Judgement Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh who barely defend the titles, and he's fed the WWE Tag Team Championships to the Bloodline's Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa(who only got the title because Jacob Fatu surrendered it.) And The Bloodline aren't doing anything special with the titles. At least the Usos made it special when they were in the Bloodline. He's even ruined it on NXT. Nathan Frazier and Axiom were arguing with the whole breakup kf the will they or won't they, and it was way too soon for Ridge Holland to turn heel as they used the titles to break up the tag team of Andre Chase and Holland.
Bluedust vs Goldust: [-**]
Bob Holly vs Al Snow: [**1/2]
Mideon vs Big Boss Man: [-***]
Jeff Jarrett & Owen Hart vs D-Lo Brown & Mark Henry: [*3/4]
Ken Shamrock vs Val Venis: [*3/4]
Chyna & Kane vs D-Generation X (Triple H & X-Pac): [**3/4]
Mankind vs The Rock: [***1/2]
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Mr McMahon: [***]
side notes
That opening video package was ART! One of the best they ever did imo
Opener was short but borderline unwatchable
Hardcore match was some fun but nothing to write home about
Mideon vs Bossman was so boring, I almost fell asleep watching
Tag match was meh,the angle itself was uninteresting so why would the match be any different ?
Special guest referee is a handy device for a personal feud, and it worked here, although the match didn’t pick up until Shamrock lost it with special guest referee Billy Gunn
Chyna and Kane vs DX was fairly decent, although I definitely prefer the combination of HHH and Shawn Michaels rather than HHH and X-Pac
Last man standing match was the best of the night, although the crowd hated the finish
Cage match was good, although dragged at times, I prefer the cage design we have now over the black bar one though. Also had the debut of Paul “Big Show” Wight.
Here is the last minute match card and result prediction:
Explanation:
So by now I'm sure everyone has seen the Pat McAfee show thing with Cody "so I heard the big guys coming back this week" meaning that someone is likely returning on Smackdown or at Bad Blood, with that said who we think he is? My vote is on The Rock or possibly Jimmy with "Tyne big Guy" being used to throw us off.
Some matches during covid like the swamp fight and firefly fun house match are really overhated. They weren't real "matches" but they were still cool. The Randy vs Alexa match sucked but not all cinematic matches are bad.
#WWE SmackSown...err, SmackDown
AJ Styles returns
The Phenomenal One is set to return to Friday Night SmackDown after months away from the blue brand. Styles hasn’t been seen since falling to Randy Orton in a King of The Ring Qualifying Match, and the former WWE Champion is is ready to return. Don’t miss Styles live on Friday at 8/7 C on USA.
Is there a streaming service that is airing raw and smackdown the day after they air like Hulu did? I’ve heard Peacock is supposed to be the place, but they are still over a month out when it comes to episodes. So do I just have to resort to YouTube highlights if I somehow miss an episode live?
