SPOILER POLICY: Spoiler times run for 24 hours after a TV show or PPV ends. Anything that takes place on a TV show or PPV is a spoiler. It does not matter if it is a “real life event”, if it occurs on a live show or PPV, or is mentioned on a live show or PPV, it meets our definition of “spoiler”. If you post a spoiler, TAG YOUR POST as a spoiler. Do not post spoilers in the title of your posts. Do not post a photo with a spoiler, as not all platforms will hide the photo. While a TV show or live event is in progress, we create a discussion thread for the live event or PPV that is in progress.
WHY CAN'T I POST? When a show is live (TV/PPV/ETC), we lock the sub (until the next morning) so posts aren't allowed. This avoids spoilers for those who don't watch live. If you can't post, look to see if a show or PPV is airing live, and that's why.
NO TROLLING: Trolling is an instant ban. This includes on the sub and in the chat room. This also includes "WWE sucks, X promotion is better" trolling.
REPORT OFFENSIVE/SPAMMY/BAD CONTENT: This subreddit will be a better environment for new/discussion if substandard content is reported. You can send a link to the content via modmail or use Reddit's reporting system to report a post. This sub does not allow racist, offensive or pornographic content, including memes.
RESPECT OTHERS: r/WWE does not tolerate bigotry, sexism, racism, homophobia, or transphobia against members, or wrestlers. This includes discussion of male/female violence. We also do not tolerate disrespect or attacks towards r/WWE staff and admins. Disrespecting users will result in a 7 day ban. Disrespecting or attacking moderators and admins will result in a permaban. Disrespecting r/WWE or r/WWE staff on others subs or your personal account/profile will result in a perma ban. Also, attacking people because they like more than just WWE will result in a ban. People are allowed to enjoy and consume any content they desire, and we will not stand for attacks on those who enjoy other promotions.
"SHITPOSTING", KARMA FARMING & UNRELATED POSTS/MEMES/APPROPRIATE CONTENT/SEXUALIZING TALENT: Do not post random stuff just for karma. This especially applies to dumb memes that have nothing to do with anything. Admins and moderators reserve the right to remove memes that seem to be pointless. Shitposting will result in a ban. If it doesn't feel like it belongs here, it goes to r/WWEMemes. Also, this isn't a game sub. Video game stuff goes to r/WWEGames. Also, this sub doesn't exist to sexualize women, nor to comment on the appearance of WWE female performers ("hot", "sexy", etc). It's not a sub for "thirst traps", or to post horny pics. There are multiple other subs to obsess over women's bodies, or "who was the hottest" / "who's the hottest", we don't do that here.
NO STREAMING SITES: Do not ask for, post or share links to sites streaming PPVs and shows. Links will be deleted as spam and those sharing/asking for illegal stream links will be banned.
SELF PROMOTION POLICY: This subreddit does not allow self promotion. Do not use r/wwe to promote your social media, blog, website, Twitch, Discord, YouTube channel, or podcast. Violators will be banned.
NO POLITICS: This is a forum for discussion of r/wwe. Regardless of whether or not a US President has been related to WWE in some form, we do not allow political discussion here. There are plenty of subs out there for that. The only exception is when politics has a direct effect on WWE, such as Florida declaring WWE an essential business during the COVID-19 outbreak of 2020.
MAJOR TOPICS/MEGATHREADS: When a major event occurs, megathreads will be created to group discussion so they don't overtake the sub. All related discussion (predictions, etc) should be kept in this threads and individual created threads will be locked/removed. If a thread is locked/deleted and the user posts it again, this may lead to a ban. Those who disrespect, attack, or insult mods, staff, or the r/WWE sub for organizing minor threads into a megathread will receive a 7 day ban.
LEAKED RESULTS: Do not post leaked results of taped shows.
SELLING: Don't use r/WWE to sell your stuff or link to your auctions. This is a discussion forum, not a platform for you to sell your stuff.
REPOSTING REMOVED POSTS: If your post is removed, don't repost it, or post "why was my post removed". Review the sub's rules, or PM admin/mod staff at r/WWE to inquire.
AEW Discussion: Per the results of a vote by members of this sub, limited AEW discussion is allowed only if it is extremely relevant to WWE. This includes legitimate comparisons, as well as major WWE superstars debuting in AEW. AEW trolling will not be tolerated and those who do so will be banned.

Is there a location you think would make for a ridiculously good Royal rumble? I think France deserves one with its last event pops and singing along
And I play the video games also
So it seems like Cody Rhodes is being protected a lot and being made special by the WWE
He is the only superstar that was a champion after wrestlemania that has not lost their title. Every match you know that he is retaining because they are waiting for a certain superstar to take it from him. I’m sorry, but we just had a three year long reign with the WWE title with Roman reigns. We don’t need another year-long reign with the same title. It’s OK to lose the title and give other people a chance with the booking to hold the title.
Along with that, the way that he beat Gunther shows that they don’t want him to look bad. It would not have hurt him to lose to Gunther, but for him to win with a roll up seems like they are protecting him.
The other thing that kind of bugs me is that he hast to be the main event of every PLE? There were two recent PLE‘s where he didn’t need to be the main event. Bad blood was the first one where the event usually signifies a blood feud and hell on a cell, so it should’ve been McIntyre and punk as the main event. Crown Jewel was the other. You could’ve had the bloodline tag match and the show based on what happened but instead you get a match nothing happens in Terms of storyline.
For me, I think it should be Randy Orton that wins the title off of him and why can’t it be at someplace like survivor series? Why do we have to possibly wait for it to be either the rock or Roman reigns to take the title from him?
What do you think? Do you think that WWE is protecting Cody too much?
Anyone else tired of these talents being missing and worried about potential releases.
Kiana James Shinsuke Nakamura Gallows & Anderson Grayson Waller Austin Theory Vinci Blair Davenport Apollo Crews Ilia Draganov Kayden and Katana Lyra Valkyria
Makes me worried all these names are big enough, they could easily have apollo in the US title scene, same with theory & waller.
Pisses me off WWE has wasted so much of shinsuke.
It really says alot about how much people genunely hate Nia when they chanted for Liv at crown Jewel despite her association with Dominik- the most hated heel I’ve seen in a long time.
I was excited when it was announced and figured it would be pricey, but when I saw the cheapest ticket was 600, I said forget it. I'd rather watch it on TV. Would have been a great experience though. Anyone else not going?
Make a top 10 list of worst WWE matches ever
For me
I’m watching a lot of late 2000s wrestling recently and Matt Striker is one of the standouts of every show i watch, i also loved him on Lucha Underground, he’s definitely one of my favourite commentators of all time but i’ve never really seen much ever said about him so i don’t know if he’s generally seen in the same sort of high regard that i put him in, so i’d love to know what you think about him
Who do you think will face Cody for the championship next?
What is your favorite Wrestlemania stage?
What’s your favorite Wrestlemania intro?
That was one or my favourite it was alone as fuck and i wish I was in the show watching live
While I was walking around during halloween nobody knew who I was cosplaying as except for two kid's who saw me and said "ITS HOWDY, ITS HOWDY!!"
What’s your favorite Wrestlemania logo?
Just remember ALL CAPS when you spell the man name
With Liv Morgan winning the Crown Jewel title, and her genuine emotional reactions on the post show, WWE finds itself with an interesting challenge as to how to proceed. The post-show and backstory make it clear that Liv is a more natural babyface despite being the homewrecking heel at the moment. It also launched her to a different level of star in the eyes of the fans with her work. Assuming the Rhea injury does keep her off television for awhile, there isn't a dedicated story for her at the moment.
They could keep her in the Judgment Day orbit and tie her to the mostly male-dominated group that continues grinding the organ and holding the women's world championship hostage.
They could break her, Dom and Racquel away from the story and have them exist in their own orbit, which would be a challenge with Dom being such a heel at the moment.
Her and Racquel could attempt to regain the women's tag titles, which keeps her world title on ice unless they decide to take the singles belt off her.
If they choose to give her a challenger, there are probably more credible babyfaces than heels at the moment on the main roster...Lyra, Zelina, Iyo or Kairi. Or they could call up some of the more experienced women from NXT to give them more of an opportunity in the main spotlight (understanding that it's too soon for Giulia or Stephanie to have a long-term run as champion).
If I have the pencil, I would consider bringing Roxanne Perez up from NXT, since she holds the championship and can make the best case for feeling that she deserved to be in the Crown Jewel match as the longest-tenured champion and holder of the title in the best women's division in the company. The story of an NXT champion taking the belt off the main roster champion is not unprecedented since that's how they moved Paige/Saraya to the main roster the night after Wrestlemania where she beat AJ Lee and held the belt for a year. The women's division is a lot deeper now, but having someone who may be a better in-ring worker with mic skills that are improving and the ability to carry a program with just about anyone else can only help the division. If she doesn't initially win the belt, the challenge can set up an NXT invasion angle that would lead to a War Games match that would be more entertaining than anything currently on the main roster. Her running buddy Cora Jade has experience working with Racquel, and they might be able to target the tag belts if they wanted to bring them both up.
As has often been said, they have a lot of options available, which could help revive the main roster women.
Hello everyone I've been a wrestling fan probably since I was born (my dad letting me watch WWE with him in the early 2000s instead of sprout LOL) Now before I get into this I just want to say I appreciate all the talent that have stepped into the WWE and other wrestling businesses. They hurt themselves on a weekly basis to provide for us entertainment.
I just wish the storytelling, the storylines, and the gimmicks were more diverse. I want to say ever since about 2018 I've been seeing a lot of heels that form factions rather than just being themselves. They also have manager interferences and other interferences that gives them the win. Another thing I noticed is that they always make it seem like the refs don't see it or suspect that the managers won't get involved regardless if they were already involved before or not.
The storylines make it seem like the characters are so surprised when the allies of the heel are coming out. And often it's always more than one heel vs one face.
Ok top of these predictable events they also often have predictable outcomes.
The good part about this is that it's good for causing the audience to hate the heel. The bad part is......ITS OVERUSED. It's stail and it causes wrestling to be boring and it makes it hard for me to watch. It also makes it harder for me to believe and feel immersed into as well. I think I'm at my wits end. Like I've been getting more and more impressed with the NXT events and things like that but then it's ruined because the feud is interrupted or interfered by one of the allies of the heel. It's. Getting. Tiring.
Now I KNOW that these tropes existed even when I was younger. These tropes are not inherently bad but it seemed like it was less overused. We need different types of heels and different types of faces. We need more dynamics. We need some variations.
What do you think? Am I just overlooking something or being dramatic? Or do you kind of see where I am coming from and agree?
She has the acrobatic background to pull it off. Not just a fisherman's suplex, but a genuine Perfectplex. She could call it the Prettyplex, but really, the Perfectplex, for Mrs. Perfect, just works.
Honestly… it was a great match! But I mean, Gunther is Gunther! No? He held that tittle for 666 days that nobody pinned him! Then again, he lost to Sami so… it’s not that farfetched. I’m not saying Cody is bad, but he does have that plot armor right now hahaha
