The unofficial hub for discussion of the WWE2K series and any other pro wrestling game out there!
Hello and welcome to /r/WWEGames. This is a place where you can discuss anything related to professional wrestling games! That includes any wrestling game from any platform, although the primary focus on this subreddit is the WWE2K series.
/r/WWEGames Official Discord Channel
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the subreddit rules, which can be found in the sidebar below.
Mondays: It's Your Universe - Update us on your current Universe plans, post results and ask Universe Mode-related questions in this thread.
Mondays: Weekly General Discussion Thread - Post memes, chat wrestling in general, post things that maybe don't need their own thread, and more. Talk about anything in these threads as long as it's appropriate. These threads are not for promoting your channels or videos.
Have you created a match card or poster you want to show off? All match cards and posters, in-game, written, and photo-shopped, are designated to Mondays. Simply select the MCM flair when submitting your post. If you have multiple cards/posters to show, please limit them to no more than two threads. More than that will be removed. Do not use MCM to promote a channel or video.
Written show results and tournament brackets fall under the MCM rule. You may post Cyber Sunday polls on any day if all links are contained to one thread and you don't spam it daily.
Youtube content creator? Twitch streamer? Run a Universe blog? Saturday is your day! Every Saturday, the rules on self promotion (see below) are lifted and creators are free to post their content! Simply select the SPS flair when submitting your post. Your post must link directly to your video or channel. A match card or poster with a link in the comments will be removed.
The usual rules on self promotion remain in effect on other days. If you have multiple videos you'd like to share, please put the links together in a text post; multiple link posts to the same channel will be removed. In-game Community Creations content does not fall under self promotion and can be posted at any time.
1. Lengthy YouTube/Twitch videos and promoting your channel/blog/stream/etc. is not allowed. The exceptions to this are short videos highlighting Community Creations/PC mod content such as CAW entrances and attire previews. Full match videos featuring CAWs or mods do not fall under this exception. This rule does not apply on Self-Promotion Saturday.
A brief reminder that, in the lead up to each yearly release, many fake "Leak" videos and images get created. Any of these sort of leaks will mostly be removed unless it shows some brand new feature that "proves" it is real.
This does not affect our policy on self-promotion; please do not spam your channels to this subreddit for clicks.
1.5 Shorter videos highlighting certain spots/features/bugs can be posted freely, but to avoid self promotion posts, we ask that they are either posted as gifs or via sites like Streamable.
2. Please select the appropriate flair when submitting your post. Certain flairs trigger important automated messages and allow sorting, searching, and filtering. Users are expected to choose the correct flair. Failure to do so, especially with MCM and SPS, may result in your post being removed. A guide to what flair you should choose can be found by clicking here.
3. Please do not post about buying, selling, trading, or giving away Supercard/DLC codes or games. r/WWEGames does not support piracy and asking for links or torrents will result in your post being removed.
4. No low-effort or low-quality screenshots or videos. Modern platforms have capturing capabilities, use them. If you are on an older system without built-in capturing, you need to put in effort to avoid being removed. A blurry picture of your tv from across the room will 100% of the time be removed.
5. No low-effort text posts. If you have an opinion or want to say something, put some effort into it. "Here Comes the Pain is the best game." will be removed. The same post but with actual reasons why is allowed. What is considered low-effort is left to moderator discretion. A title-only post with an irrelevant image attached to avoid this rule will be removed and may result in a ban if done repeatedly.
6. Posting limit - There's no set limit, but don't go overboard with posting. If you make 5 separate screenshot or video posts in an hour, they will be removed. Use common sense.
7. Follow all the rules of Reddiquette, especially the witch hunt and piracy rules.
8. DO NOT send private messages to individual moderators if you have an issue. If your post is removed and you don't know why, do not repost it or make another post to complain or ask why it was removed. Send us a message through modmail, otherwise you may be ignored.
Posts that violate these rules will be removed. Repeatedly breaking the rules will result in a ban

I love old era wwe games like start wwe svr11 then my next is wwe2k19 and still love it but now i wanna try new era wwe so which one should i buy ?
2k23 vs 24 which is best for me ? (Ps5) thank you
Looks like they are about to play 2k25
As it stands currently in 2k24, we are unable to edit persona card superstars in create a superstar.
However, it seems that DLC characters in 2k25 will be labeled as persona cards rather than standard DLC characters. That being said, do we think that we are going to be able to edit persona cards this year? Because if not, then DLC is taking a huge step backwards.
Thoughts?
After YEARS (and I'm talking back before it was 2k), my game was all about mma based pro wrestling combat, knockout or submission only. Played this was forever (mostly as an adaptation to the shitty pin systems that were implemented over the years).
Matt Riddle's (and now Josh Barnett's) Bloodsport came about and I realized that the no ropes ring was perfect for this style, but I'd never fully realize it in a WWE game.
Until now!
I just hope that I can implement a no ropes ring into Universe mode, and maaaaybeeee do multi person matches, but I won't hold my breath.
Now if they would just fix the selling.
I'm not talking about the obvious here, which is the graphics and online features. I'm taking about the single-player content.
As far as I know, the biggest differences were that only the next gen versions of SvR 10 & 11 had superstar threads, same thing for the new physics engine in SvR 11.
Other than that, would you say that up until SvR 9, content wise, the two versions were identical?
I think this should be the roster for the new additions making their debuts to the franchise, I would also include Karmen Petrovic as I do think she has a chance of making it as well.
I also know that Lola has been confirmed as well as Kelani
However, I feel like I’d be happy with these additions
Those of you that play with CAWs have you had this issue where every time you finish making an entire moveset after hours it ends up resetting back to the default or previous moveset you had? I spent 2 hours making my moveset and when i played today i noticed it was the default and then I spend 1 hour trying to remember and select the moveset i had and it ended up resetting again when i closed the app after a match.
I wonder why they stopped making Japanese versions of WWE games. I’m pretty sure they were only made for the PS2.
“ New Playable Superstar “ Any Guesses?
I personally hope they keep big poppa pump as a default unlockable not in my faction again and I hope they keep wm25 HBK 😁
This is some of my picks
Does anyone know when the news embargo lifts? I’m ready to see some gameplay and more in depth news! TIA.
Does anybody know if the cover will change to the deadman edition cover when it comes out?
Obviously I wanna use one of the original members as a mentor but who would you use for the other 3 members?
Im sure there are alot but for me I'm goona go with two.
R-truth and the miz's tag team finisher. Don't remember the name but i always liked it. I could use this for miz and truth now tho. I couldn't find a good quality vid either
Candice leraes springboards. The way she does hers would fit a ton of women in 2k. She does the same thing to the outside with a crossbody. Can't find good videos for either tho, but i like having different variations of things in the game.
Realistic or what? 😆
There's all 5 of them entering, but there's no match type that would support such an entrance, since the maximum amount of superstars you can have on a team is 4.
Could this be from MyRise (Note: Warrior was in 2K Showcase in 2k14 despite being preorder so maybe thay're still in it), or are we possibly getting 10 Man matches (or at least 4 + Manager) in 2k25?
The group that have been on Raw since June aren’t gonna be available on the base game hahahaha
