Hits the spot!

Picked up Russell’s 13 so I did a side by side with 10 and 15; I would say I think the 15 is great but I actually prefer the 13 seems more well rounded and balanced. Also cracked the 1924, it was excellent but I think it’s a bit expensive for what it is 1920 at about half the price is better value.

Black Friday Haul

$25.99 Pickle Moonshine 

My first non-regular Jack Daniel’s bottle. Came highly recommended by the folks at the store. Anyone tried this before? 

Pretty happy no one got hurt but was still a crazy enough crowd. Makes me think of large crowds for Black Friday deals in the 90s.

Picked up a bottle of the Willet Family Estate Small Batch and High West Cask Strength yesterday. 

Willet- Lots of toffee, cedar, and a little bit of cinnamon. Finish hangs around but is pretty smooth. The Willet is definitely worth picking up and I would drink again. Priced at $79.99

High West Cask Stength- Warm and leathery that ends pretty quick. Definitely a warmer bottle than I usually go for. Small notes of oak but mainly leathery notes. Not something I’d go out of my way for again. Priced at $69.99
