I cracked one of my wheels on a bad pothole and got a set of 4 oem wheels on FB market. But the thing is that they're painted a shade grayer than oem.

I'm hoping the OEM finish is still underneath and I can just strip the paint off and maybe re-clear the wheels if necessary.

What's the best stripper for the job?

Bought some black lug nuts for my toyota camry. We'll i didn't realize the mating surfaces where flat and accidentally bought conical lug nuts... could i use them and it be fine or do I need to find flat lug nuts?

I know what a negative offset means but not sure what the number would mean for pushing the wheel out so to speak.

I’m looking at new wheels that are 20x10 -18mm offset, is that a lot? It’s going on a GMC 2500 4x4. They also offer 20x9 -1mm offset. I like the look of the wheel being out there but I’m going to use the truck for its payload and sometimes pulling an RV for miles. Not sure if the -18mm offset would be an issue with what I use the truck for?

How do I find it the measurements of my tires and rims?

I am trying to sell my Work CR3Ps, but I bought them with my car and they don't have any kind of documentation specifying their measurements.

Some guy is asking for offset and width, IDK what that means

4x110 bolt pattern, came with the car in the 90s and were spray painted the yellow color they are is all I know.

37 lbs sounds heavy as hell, but I made a list of 27 wheels I liked and 17 of them were 37 lbs or more.

I posted these wheels a while ago, I got a few comments but I’ve found more information which could help identify them.

They are Hotstuff wheels but the pcd doesn’t match any of the ones I have seen (these are 5x100) I am almost certain they are 8.5J too.

Has someone done a weird custom setup on these wheels or am I missing something?

So I just had an unlucky day and cracked my rim…. Is this safe to drive until my replacement comes in?

I have been searching for some wheels and I'm not having a ton of luck finding what I want and am wondering if I'm bad at searching or if I need to change up what I'm looking for.

I'd looking for 19x8.5 - 19x9.5, with a +38 or +40 offset, matte back, with six spokes. I've found plenty at 18, but am not finding any at that offset in 19.

Any help, insight, or advice is greatly appreciated.

2 of my good friends are going on a trip to japan soon. i want wedssports tc105x and will not settle for anything else. i live in nz, buying and shipping will cost 4k (quoted by dealer). used market for these in my specific size is non existent here.

ive looked at some auctions in japan and some sets of 4 are going for around 1.5k nzd. Is there any chance my 2 friends would be able to fit 4 wheels (no tyre) in an extra bag or something whilst not exceeding the baggage limit with their 1 month stay worth of luggage? is there a particular shape bag i should buy get them to use?

and yes they would be more than happy to do this for me and i would def pay them a coupel hundred each for the trouble if it works out.

I've just bought some OEM alloys to replace my OEM steelies for my Opel Astra G and some guy told me I also need to change the screws. Is this true? If so, which ones do i have to buy?

Saw this forum post and about halfway down the thread, the above rims are posted by Mr.wreckless. He mentions they are "Volk 20" 10.5" ET 23" but doesn't give a model or reference number.

The rims match the smooth curves of the s5 way better than the straight and angular factory ones

I'm looking at getting a set of Impact Racing 501's, but they're so cheap and have me concerned as I plan to put them on a 4500lb EV, however a YouTube video shows they have a load rating of 1600 lbs so it shouldn't be too bad with a 255/55R18 tire. What's the deal with this brand and wheel? It seems no one has ever bought these as I can't find a picture of any car with them at all, or any reviews of them. Can any wheel experts give me a reason as to why I shouldn't buy these?
