Best Bartending Jobs?

TL;DR: My wife and I unexpectedly moved to Las Vegas from Kansas City, Missouri. We were initially headed to Palm Springs to open a hotel, but the opening date kept getting delayed, so what was supposed to be a short stay with my mom has turned into something longer.

I've spent the last 19 years working as a professional bartender and am now seeking employment in Las Vegas. I've registered with both the culinary and bartenders unions and set up my profile on the Goodwrx app. After spending the past two and a half weeks filling out online applications, I'm curious if the smaller casinos, like Dotty's and Magoo's, are worth considering for work.

  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Must have experience in SAGE VIP IDIG
  • Expert proficiency in Excel pivot tables and Vlookups
  • Awareness of business trends
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant

In this remote role, you would be working with market generated warm inbound leads only and develop relationships with vacation rental home owners with the end goal being to bring them on board with Evolve. Our uncapped Inside Sales Representative act as consultants, providing detailed insight into the market, the industry, and our services while paying close attention to the homeowners' needs.
