Sorry if you missed out on this one - Peach Pit played an incredible 90 at the Fox tonight. I haven't been so proud of a band from Vancouver in a long time.
Please check out this band if you haven't heard of them already! Peach Pit are for the people.
I lost a pet today so will not be attending.
Tickets are a front row table that will be shared with 2 others.
Here's a link.
Hold your fur babies close, everyone.
Involved in an accident this morning (Jan 31) westbound on Kingsway and Joyce St, approx. 8:35 AM. It was pretty public, but didn't get a witness contact since I went to catch the license plate of the other party that fled the scene (and have already filed a police report).
Want to see if anybody had dash cam footage or witnessed the incident, just in case there is any ambiguity in the insurance adjustment.
Thanks.
Commodore ballroom. 2 tickets. Seated area. I think I paid like $120. Free to anyone who wants to go. He’s really amazing. I’ll transfer You the tickets from Ticketmaster!
Looking south east from Caulfield, there was two but now only one. Any one have any idea what it is?
Wndy out there tonight.
this is my duck next to my fox
Drive safe out there.
Did anyone else see that weird orange and green lightning downtown, at around 8:25pm? I've never seen anything like it before?
How is there another crash tonight on Hwy 1 at 192nd street. Maybe its the oil from the previous crashes with the rain bringing it to the top. Speed limit is 90 along there but people doing 120+ is common even in wet weather. Should we start installing speed cameras on our highway. Can use the funds from that to go towards various capital projects
I learned (during the pandemic) that Vancouver has more Americans than any other city in Canada. We are happy to have you! And of course, we don’t make generalizations just because of the reprehensible leaders in your country of origin… but what are your thoughts on the best way to organize, fight back and bring out the best in all of us during this challenging time?

Snow is in the forecast around B.C. this weekend!
Driving in snowy conditions can be difficult, remember two key tips: reduce your speed and increase your following distance. The more time you have to react to any hazard the better.
If you find yourself hydroplaning, ease off the accelerator and keep steering in the direction you want to go. Avoid braking.
If you drive over black ice and start to skid, ease off the accelerator, and look and steer smoothly in the direction you want to go. Don't brake! this will make the situation worse. You may need to repeat this manoeuvre several times until you regain control.
And don't forget to turn on your headlights, even during the daylight in low light conditions.
Is your car snow ready? Make sure you have:
If the snow is heavy and roads are impacted, avoid driving if you can, stay home to keep everyone safe ❄️
