Does anyone know if students still get into UNLV basketball and football games for free? When I watch basketball games on tv there is literally no student section which is kind of disheartening to see. Also, went to the UNLV vs SDSU football game this year and don’t remember seeing much of a student area at that game either. Did unlv athletics get greedy or do students just not care to go to games anymore?
A year ago, I built version 1 of a tool to make following former college players from schools I care about in the pros. I am on Version 2 and hopefully it's improving. Would love to get more feedback and keep making it better. Let me know what you think: https://www.fandaily.io/schools/unlv

Hello! I am trying to find someone who would be able to take up my lease at the degree Apartments, right across from UNLV. It is a 4 bed/4 bed unit with a shared common area/ kitchen. The room and the common area is fully furnished. The room is a master so it does include the bathroom inside your room! There is an in-unit washer and dryer, as well that is shared among your roommates. The unit is very close to the main elevator that leads to the lobby, just 2 doors down the hall! Some of the many amenities includes a large pool area in the center of the complex, a gym, zen garden, gaming room, movie room, meeting room on the lobby floor, multiple study rooms/smaller meeting rooms on every floor, a main study room with computers, community kitchen and and additional common area for social gatherings, mail room for easy pick-up, and many more! Rent totals to $930 with utility charges. Please let me know if you are interested or have any questions regarding the room!!
Overall this was a successful season. With how tough the past few years have been, making it to the quarterfinals of the NIT is pretty good progress.
Here’s looking forward to next season. We’ll miss the Boone twins, Lou Rod, and Webster sure, but returning DJ, Whaley, and getting Hill back from injury is a good returning foundation.
We have a few 3* Freshman coming in that I’m excited to see (6’5 Forward James Evans and 7’ Pape N’Diaye), but we need some good transfer portal talent to make this team special.
In my wish list are wings that can shoot and defend. We only really had 2 guys who were above average in 3 point percentage this year, and having a few catch and shoot guys, with height, would really help.
Additionally, our defense suffered when Lou Rod was out. If those wings had some length to them and could defend, we’d be a really tough team next year!
Great to see a postseason victory! Looking forward to seeing an NIT game at home against Boston College!
Well, we didn’t make the Big Dance… but at least we’re going to a dance! Happy to see this team keep playing, I’m not ready for this season to end!
What a game! Absolute rock fight. Holding JAEDON LEDEE to 2-12 from the floor, 12 blocked shots, out-rebounding the most physical Al team in the MWC, these Rebs are good!
This season has been a blast! I haven’t enjoyed this a season this much since CRD’s last two tournament teams.
Not gonna lie, I thought the season was cooked when we lost to Southern. Then I wanted to fire Kevin Kruger when they got blown out by Air Force at home.
So glad they turned it around and are most likely at least NIT bound!
If they win their next 2 games they just might be a bubble team!

It was disappointing after the 10-0 start. But at least we beat UNR twice. Wish we would have at least made it to the MWC semi finals. Hopefully we win at least 21-22 games next year and are on the bubble / NIT bound…
Hello everyone! We are researchers from the Nursing Department at UNLV. We are looking for sports athletes between the ages of 18-40 who had a sports-related concussion between the last 3 months to 1 year for the study.
Participants are asked to participate in a 15 min, 7-day home exercise program that may improve physical balance and other functions.
The study requires two (2) separate 1-hour in-person visits. Every participant will receive monetary compensation for participation and parking permits for full participation. We appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you!
For serious inquiries, please contact: hyunhwa.lee@unlv.edu

I’m going to be launching a new sports web site that is focused in on the Las Vegas market in a couple weeks. I’m looking for passionate fans of the Rebels, Raiders, Golden Knights, Aces, Aviators and all the other teams and sporting events here in town.
I’m looking for fans interested in covering upcoming games and events, or adding information for history - whether providing info on an old fight at Caesars Palace, 51s games at Cashman, or a crazy promotion by the Wranglers (or anything else you may want to contribute).
If that is you, and you’d like a place to get your thoughts out, send me a DM, and I’ll tell you more about my thoughts for the site.
Well, this season had some fun moments, and it was the first time in a long time that I had a little bit of hope. Consider it a moral victory, but hopefully we can get some more good recruits and transfers in to take the next step forward.
It will be really tough to replace Bryce though… he should go play pro ball now for sure, but what I wouldn’t give for him to come back for one final year.
Played some ok teams, won close each time! Gonna enjoy this 3-0 start before we play the big boys!
*Compensation is available for each student* Please DM me for more information. Thank you so much!
Man... 0-4 is rough. Hopefully we turn it around against K-State and into conference play. David Jenkins has been incredibly disappointing, but then again, so has the whole team.
Overall the program is in a good place moving forward. 5 game winning streak to end the year with a win over SDSU included in there. A 12-6 MW conference record and the development of BRYCE HAMILTON into a stud are all great things to build on. The move to the 4 guard lineup really was fun to watch and provided some fun offense.
The loss to Boise in the quarter finals of the MW Tournament was disappointing, but with ELIJAH MITROU-LONG injured and Boise packing the paint on defense to force a poor shooting UNLV team to shoot 3s and mid-range jumpers, it wasn’t too surprising.
Next year should be very fun if the coaching staff can retain the top talent on the roster with such a large recruiting class coming in and only a few (I think 3) scholarship seniors in the roster. UNLV should improve its 3-point shooting significantly with the addition of David Jenkins. Hopefully Bryce Hamilton and Amauri Hardy both stay, as the team’s two best players they have a chance to make a run at the NCAA tourney next year!
