Hello and welcome to /r/TrueHouse.

The idea behind this sub is to create a community of like minded house heads with a desire to share, discover and discuss new and old house music.

Only approved users can share music. There are a few ways in which you can become an approved poster.

1. Be nominated by another approved poster.

2. Send the mods a message and make a request.

3. Subscribers will be made approved posters depending on their contribution to the sub.

Submission Rules.

1. Sharing tracks due to popularity. For example FCL - Its You. A perfectly fine track but please don't share 6 months after release. We've all heard it.

2. The usual electro house, commercially produced records, tech house, big room, bass music, future garage, trance, progressive house, or anything that doesn't align with the ethos of /r/truehouse.

3. Anything not related to house music. Self posts with arbitrary content will be removed.

4. Posts can and will be removed at the moderators discretion.

5. Format. Please if sharing a track format in a legible way. While not compulsory I suggest the following: Artist - Title (Year) (Label)

While we will be strict on the rules tracks, images, articles etc with a relevancy to house music will be acceptable on a case by case basis.

The inspiration for this sub came from /r/listentous. While our system is slightly different it is an ongoing process and rules and ideas will change until a good balance can be found. Hopefully we can create a nice community with consistent content and great discussions. I ask you to stick around and subscribe and see where we go from here.
