I need some hard industrial hypnotic techno. These are the labels I like
Hey everyone, I recently started to dig into old school techno and fall in love with this song. I also listened to more stuff by underground resistance and it’s either a huge hit or a miss for me. Songs like « Mirage » or « Moor Houseman on Bolarus 5 » put me in a real trance it’s insane. But I am less sensible on the more experimental stuff.
I am looking for more labels/artists in such a vibe : techno/electro, melodic, dystopian …
With those kind of songs I discovered Dj Stingray 313 who mix those kind of songs and he might became one of my if not my favorite DJ. I even had the chance to attend one of his set last month in Barcelona, it was incredible.
Will listen to every recommendations ! Other song in the same style : Darker places - Anthony Rother, Overdrive - IllektroLab , Controller - Lectro cod_e, Terror - Salome ( which is a recent song, not particularly looking for a specific era but more a vibe )
Thank you !

Let's start a THREAD with labels who are doing this and support their work as well!
Loved it when it popped up on my Discovery mix, but why the fuck is it this short? Is it just designed as a loop?
Is this a new trend I don’t understand?
❤️
Here is an old mix I found on a hard drive. From early 2005. Enjoy!

Hello to the people of Reddit, more so the people of Louisville. I go by modest and I’m from Indianapolis, DJ and absolute lover of electronic music. I’ve been reading some posts about the techno community here in the city and i sincerely believe it’s been way past due to establish its presence. I’m looking for like minded individuals who would potentially be interested in helping me create this community i so deeply have a vision for. The city has already had a Bass/dubstep & EDM scene. But I’m looking for the people that truly appreciate the OG’s and sub genres stemmed from electronic music. Detroit Techno, Chicago House, London Jungle, breaks, foot work/juke. Get at me if you’d like to make a change and finally give this city a legitimate based core, the people have spoken and we are connecting the dots of the Midwest freaks circuit. Get at me.
Love and admiration, modest 🫶🏾
They are kind of dressed crazy and release techno tracks or get remixed by techno producers. I'm pretty sure Hector Oaks played a tune or two from them in some set. I remember they dress uniformly and the music can also get experimental electronic. I cant fuckin remember the name. I think the name has 3 words and kind of sounds like unknown mortal orchestra or something similar to that.
Youtube, Soundcloud, and other sites work better for DJ sets, but I use Spotify all the time, and wondering what good mix albums I might be missing.
I get the sense Spotify has least a few good ones, and I enjoyed: Robert Hood's DJ-Kicks/Focus, Mixmag albums from Ben Klock and Charlotte De Witt. I also like techno-adjacent stuff like James Holden's Balance.
So, any other good mix albums on Spotify that I should check out?
How many of us?
