In 2014, my mother passed. And a ‘family member’ came through and pawned off everything I had left of her while I was sent to live with my father in Tulsa.
If you purchased a small wooden rocking horse, or a small, white, wooden crib around 2014 on North 503 road (or believe they may be the same)
I would give anything to have those back. Thank you.
Will be moving to tahlequah soon and was wondering if there are any sport bike rider groups or motorcycle groups in general to ride with?

This js a c&p from the r/Oklahoma cause Im really tired of havin to type all this out
am 22 and autistic ect ect. I am trying to get out of my exes house. We are both trans. She has made living here hell. She takes every opportunity to put me down and make me feel like the entire reason we broke up was my fault. Ive had to even have talks about not bullying me cause shs thinks its funny and had to tell her not to start things just becauss she can and you shouldn't say bad shit about someone just to make yourself feel better.
I cannot currently afford housing as I have discovered I actually DID owe money to my first apartment wven tho the lady told me everything wqs handled. Because of this I cant even get my own place if I wanted to until thats paid off.
Im trying to get onto disability because until I get through a few rounds of therapy and medication a work environment is not a option.
The only things I can offer roommate wise is the promise to keep your place spotless and have someone to have a good time with. I even cook RARELY but I mostly will make any sweet treat tou can think of.
I am enquiring about any FREE camping space near or in Tahlequah. Preferably in Tahlequah cause I cannot drive and blew my knees out last year walking 5hrs to work and back [Tulsa for the love of god get a grip on pedestrian travel]
I dont think ill be accepted into the mens shelter because I am trans and I dont think Ill be accepted into the women's shelter [didnt even see one wtf Tahlequah] for the same reason.
I am at a loss. I wanted my mum to be proud of me and see that I infact could live on my own and do well no matter what circumstance I am in.
Side note: My ex told me I was just a charity case , she was just trying to get me off the street and only liked me a little bit , so for right now anyform of trying to keep a freindship with her is gone. I still cant help but be nice and make her food sometimes but it really REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY FUCKING HURTS. She didnt even remember saying if which I think is another lie. This part isn't very important but I think itll shed light into my living situation.
EDIT: I have appointments for therapy IN Tahlequah, I cannot really leave that far out from here because I need to be able to rely on my legs to make it there.
We are currently in a cabin right on the Illinois just south of River valley Baptist Church. We drove to our drop point at the Chewy bridge and floated back down to the cabin yesterday, but thought there would be at least a few Uber drivers running so we could get back to the car and never could get a hit.
Anyone up for driving us to the car? Will pay of course!
How are they doing?
Hi! I am a 17F who’s looking for some friends in the tahlequah area, it’s hard to make friends in Oklahoma and this is kinda my last resort! I like do do many things from movie nights to just a quiet hangout sesh!
I’m thinking about moving into/near Tahlequah. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations in regards to social activities for mid twenties as well as what the rent scene would look like nearby (recommended/where to run from). I’m on my own so it would need to be a bit of a cheaper place if that’s possible. Altogether I’m just looking to begin settling into the area socially more as well so any tips would be great for it! Thank y’all!
We're both in the spectrum and just want a nice evening unloading our things into the new apartment and they're pretty close to giving up on shit rn. Anyone know what's going on? They've turned off their device and back on, same with the data roaming... Nothing.
TCP needs volunteers on Tuesday and Wednesday of this coming week (March 19th and 20th) to help move props and set pieces from the storage facility at the corner of Allen and Grand. They’ll begin work at 9am both days.
The storage facility at the corner of Grand and Allen is closing and we must be out by March 28th. TCP has been tasked with finding a new location for our props, set pieces, and ultimately costumes as well. They have secured some new spaces and are reaching out for help in moving the items.
If you can come help for any amount of time, it will be most appreciated. Coffee and refreshments will be provided.

Hey all, I recently got a new job in Tahlequah and am looking to make new friends in the area, anyone have any recommendations for places to meet new folks in their early 20s? I enjoy getting out and about, so hitting a trail is definitely something I’m game for. I also play a lot of video games on the more dreary days in the evenings. I commute an hour to and from work for now and am also looking at the renting scene in the near future in and around the area as well so any tips on that I’m all ears.
I need to buy a used mobile home to move to land in the 74441 area.
Hoping for something without any plumbing or electrical problems under $10,000.
Does anyone know a good resource to locate sellers in the area?
Thank you!!
Is there anyone around who'd be down to play some Magic the Gathering?
I heard someone is gonna buy the old workmans building and is gonna put the horse back up? Is this right?
Hello! So recently, I've been looking into the Northeastern State University as a college I want to go to. I currently and have always lived in Arkansas, so I don't know much about the Tahlequah area, since I've never been there. I have lots of questions that I'll list below. If you have any useful advice or answers to them then please share!
Anyways, with that out of the way, my first question is about the bikability of the area. I can't afford a car, so I'd mainly get around on bike. My question is: is the area traversable on a bike? (like with trails and sidewalks)
2 is about public transportation. As I mentioned before, I mainly bike. I know that there'll probably be days with bad weather where that won't be possible. In this case, I'm wondering: does the Tahlequah area have public transportation, and how reliable is it?
Lastly, 3 is about politics. I'm a transgender woman, and I'll be transitioning in Oklahoma if I go there, and it'll be pretty obvious that I am trans for some time. My question is, with this being a very red area, how is the general view on LGBT people? Can any trans people attest for their experience? Would it be dangerous for me to live openly given my career of choice (education)?
Thank you for reading this post and to all the people who give me guidance.
