The creation of a new department to monitor patriotism, a prayer for Donald Trump and a mug that says “if you want peace, prepare for war” the messaging can’t be more clear.
i’m gonna be back in tulsa for winter break, and i was wondering if yall knew of any gyms in the area with month long passes?
or maybe somewhere where i could just sign up for a month then cancel or something like that!
Been job searching for the last couple weeks and getting a call or email back even for a job I’m over qualified for seems impossible.
I’ve spent the last 4 years doing carpentry work and the last two years running a shop and install crew for a company that makes custom furniture and lighting fixtures, wall covering etc. I’m very capable and hardworking and am not afraid to get my hands dirty or lift heavy things. The only thing I’m not open to is overnights.
I’m having to dip into what little savings I have and I’m not prepared to be out of work for another month if anyone has any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it
Hey y'all.
I am nervous about my community and myself after the January 20th.
I can't be the only one.
I have been trying to think of ways/things/places/groups that would bring likeminded community members together for support and comfort. Does anyone have ideas.
If you have negative comments, please carry on.
Husband and I are looking for a fun restaurant/bar to watch the Thunder game tomorrow night. Do people still do watch parties for bigger games? Right now, I'm thinking Elgin Park but I'd love to try somewhere new and maybe with more variety of food. Thanks in advance!
We’re getting dinner and drinks with friends tomorrow, do we won’t be home to watch the Tyson vs. Paul boxing match tomorrow on Netflix. Are there any restaurants/bars/casinos streaming the fight?
Idk why they're going off but seems a little late for the 4th of july....
Never gotten a tattoo before but I really want to. Don’t know where to start though (As an artist myself I’m very picky and a perfectionist with art so my standards are very high with what will be going on my body forever :)
For anyone in Tulsa or the surrounding area, the OSU Hardesty Center for Clinical Research and Neuroscience (66th & Riverside, Tulsa) is recruiting participants for a voluntary paid clinical trial studying the effects of the FDA-approved drug semaglutide (Ozempic) on alcohol consumption.
The trial is three-quarters through recruitment and if you are interested in being one of the final participants, you can visit https://redcap.link/startstudy or scan the QR code on the linked flyer below to determine eligibility and learn more about the study.
Participants earn $675 for completing the trial and receive a 3D-printed model of their brain generated from their MRI brain scan.

Was really cool seeing it so close.
Any recommendations for a good roofing company in Tulsa? Or ones to absolutely stay away from?
I’ve reached out to one so far, but today is the second day I’ve had to call at EOD after they were supposed to be here around noon (both days), just to be told “tomorrow for sure”.
If it changes the rec’s, my roof doesn’t (hopefully) need a full replacement. But it is leaking pretty badly around the chimney without a discernible “hole”.
Thanks Tulsa! Stay groovy 😎
Anyone know when the construction on 75 north heading into downtown will be done? I hate it.
Looking to get a keyloied on my ear removed.
I two dogs and two guinea pigs that need a check up and the dogs need their yearly vaccinations, but all the vets I find good reviews online are charging more than when I lived in Arizona! I was hoping someone on here would have a recommendation for a good, but more affordable veterinarian.
Went out there today and Holy Crap what a store! Watched the scuba divers clean the fish tank. Kinda pricy but they have stuff not found in local stores.
Does anyone know what’s going on over on Riverside? lol
Anything like a suggestions email for some things I think could help address the city's housing goals?
Hello,
I’m a single dad to two kiddos, 7 and 5 years old. I’ve always had two bedrooms so they have their own space. But I’m struggling financially more and more these days it seems. I have to work 10 to 15 hours over time a week to make it and it still feels like it’s not enough. The apartments I’m living in is raising my rent by $100 so I chose to look for something more cost effective than paying $1200 a month at my current apartment after the price increase. I always strive to get my kids everything they need but man, it seems like the world is setup to make us fail these days and it sucks.
My kids are always with me where ever I am. Mostly in the living room with me or my bedroom to watch tv. They only go to their room to get toys out to bring to living room to play and to sleep every night. So I was considering getting a 1 bedroom and letting them have the living room. They have bunk beds so the beds won’t take up all the space. And I’d still setup a small couch and recliner so we have some where to sit. But I’m not sure what the laws here in Oklahoma are when it comes to something like this.
Anyone have any input on this? Is it allowed? If you have better ideas or advice, please let me know.
Thanks!
how do i speak to a live person to discuss my bill? i’ve been through their prompts a million times and it never directs me to a real person. i’ve already submitted my number on their site for a call back. that was 40 mins ago. i submitted another for 10 am. doubt i will hear from then.
When I was really young my dad would take my brother and I to this Christmas Tree Farm, but it also had a really cozy lookin shop you could walk into and look at awesome decorations and always had really cool Christmas ornaments you could buy. There was also a spot inside where you could get apple cider or hot chocolate.
Now I don’t think it was in Tulsa but it couldn’t have been more than 30 minutes to an hour away. My dad and I are not on speaking terms or else I would ask him, but I really want to take my fiancé this year.
I’m hoping you guys might be able to help me!!
I need to get a scanned copy, and hopefully digital version too, of a photo of my husband and his dad (deceased). The only good photo we have is a huge professionally framed one. I’m talking bigger than 11x17 or whatever the photo equivalent is.
Where is the best place in town for a scanned print or digital copy?
As of yesterday this boy was pending adoption at OKC. I’ll comment if I get something more official, I just wanted to let everyone know he didn’t get unalived 💞
