I can't sleep thinking about this game for days. Have you ever heard of a job where someone inspects a building scheduled for demolition and stays there for a day or two? Well, there’s a horror game based on that concept. I’m not entirely sure if the building in the game is actually about to be demolished, but that’s what I understood. The game is both cute and scary because of its ending and the story behind the ghost.
The plot follows a woman who lived alone with her cat in an apartment. After she passed away, the entire apartment building was abandoned and eventually slated for demolitio (or so I think). In the game, you play as an inspector tasked with checking the abandoned apartment. While doing your job, you have to complete tasks like cleaning and emptying the space. However, the twist is that the apartment is haunted by the ghost of the woman, a "white lady," who constantly interferes with your tasks and even steals your food, which adds a bit of humor to the creepy atmosphere.
The story takes a touching turn toward the end. Remember how I mentioned the woman had a cat? Well, before the inspector was assigned to the haunted apartment, the cat had been adopted by none other than the inspector himself! This connection is revealed when the inspector and the ghost interact. The inspector shows her a photo of his cat, along with the day he adopted it, and they both realize it’s the same cat.
The game concludes with a beautiful scene where the ghost and her cat reunite in what seems to be a dream-like garden a version of the apartment after it was demolished and transformed into a heavenly space (it's like the white lady is going to heaven). From the inspector’s point of view, it feels like closure, and he finally leaves the apartment for good.
Overall, the game has a unique vibe. It’s similar to something like Slendrina, but with a more vibrant and emotional tone, it's a mix of horror and heartfelt moments.
