Lil dude was crusing on livingroom ceiling. Gave it a drink and relocated to the office where we store all our outdoor plants in the winter. Plenty of water and bugs to last till spring.

Loved meeting this bro, I am sure it didn't like my presence much, it ran into its nest after I tried to move closer to see it better with my naked eyes but couldn't cause it was a fairly small spider probably 15-20 multimeters though I can't be sure. I took this short video at 3X zoom.
i forgot about this picture i took of this little fella a couple of months ago
This little Aussie bro has a sick web
I went to go to bed and I noticed that a mother cellar spider and all her babies have decided that the ceiling right above my bed was a good place to call their home. I am not so keen on having a bunch of baby spiders above my head constantly or in my bedroom to begin with. How can I get rid of them preferably without killing them? Is there a way to get them that small without hurting them? Thank you.
I didn’t get a pic, because he was freaked out already and I thought taking him outside was probably the immediate thing to do. He got up on the coffee table and at first I thought he was after a drink (tried to climb my cold glass with condensation), then realised he wanted to be higher. Gave him my hand but didn’t raise it fast enough so he went up my arm onto my face - took him outside, put my arm against my cheek so he could easily transfer to the next highest point, and grabbed a tree branch. He happily scuttled up my arm and into the tree!
Huntsmen have tickly itchy feets!

I can now proudly say I’ve caught and released Huntsman’s in 3 states and 1 territory across Australia. This one-I now think it may be male, was above my daughter’s room door. I don’t mind them being inside, but my daughter wasn’t keen on him being outside her door. Though to be fair he’d likely already been IN her room. So we took him outside and he got cozy in the folds of the bbq cover.
I am deathly afraid of spiders, but i spotted this orb weaver that has a really pretty butterfly pattern. I walked right under her web so i hope i didn’t mess it up too much. Sorry for the bad quality
and how do they spawn in my basement???
She is a juvenile right now, she is actually next to me in her enclosure on her log right now! Her middle name is Leela (because futurama) and never kicks hairs, bites, or threat postures. Got her on the 16th of October. Stay tuned for more updates on her!
