It seems like an odd suggestion, yet in checking the details see it is about a displaced Sheriff so perhaps it is worth a watch?
In Banshee Rabbit is being protected by the priest that Hood tries to come at with a pocket knife(lol) in the church
In Mayor of Kingstown Milo is being protected by some priest in a church
In Sons of Anarchy the Priest like holds Jax’s baby for rent and is all plugged in with the IRA
I’m just sayin …
There’s probably some I’m missing but I think that’s enough to at least plant the seed, if not make the point
What do you think?
Even when striking a deal with the guy who came for Lucas Hood's son, he tried to make a deal.
I sometimes skip Siobhan's death because it's too painful. (When I do rewatch it, I still cry.)
I also skip the longer Declan Bode scenes. That whole plot was the only bad thing about the show.
I finished watching season 4 and I actually liked it. I don't mind that the writers decided to play detective. The intrigue was high. I was actually interested in>! who killed Rebecca and where Job went!<. In the first seasons, the detective was "hidden" - we needed to find out the past of "Lucas" and "Carrie" and put together their personalities from pieces. By the way, the intro is an "Easter egg" - there, from pieces of photos, a story is gradually put together, as well as the plot itself. In the last season, the detective became "explicit". In addition, the Gnostic line was continued from the first seasons (the world is a world without God, evil rules the earth, etc.) and >!a parody of Satan's henchman appeared!<. >!And the question will be asked whether he really exists!<. This was also very interesting. Now about the minuses - I think the story about "Lucas">! being a cool military agent is unnecessary!<. This is already unnecessary and this story went nowhere and I did not understand why it was needed. I also found episodes 6 and 7 boring, the chase for Chayton. No intrigue, >!they just chased him and killed him and that's it!<. But these are just two minuses and they are not such that they will ruin my admiration for the whole show. I will watch them again more than once.
I'm watching S4Ep3 and there is flashback where Maggie brings Kurt groceries right after he gets out of the hospital for the burning of his tattoo on his chest. He doesn't have the tat on his face in this and there is no scar.
Oversight? I know it isn't a big deal but it is a big part of his character that he hasn't gotten rid of his tats.
I was on IMDb when Banshee was first aired, and the general consensus was that season 01 ep 02 ("The Rave") was the worst episode. I agree with that, even though I still like it.
Truth be told, I love all of it, but if I have to choose, my favourite episodes are "Meet the New Boss", season 01 ep 03, "Wicks" season 1 ep 06", "The Truth About Unicorns", season 02 ep 05, "A Fixer of Sorts", season 03 ep 03, and "Tribal", season 03 ep 05 >!(even though Siobhan dies) "Requiem", season 4 ep 08".!<
Edited.
I’m finally on season 4 and idk if this was said before but I wonder if emmit and bunker would have been friends had emmit lived or if not friends at least respected each other enough to work together
Can you talk me what do you think about Burton's story? He was rescued by Kai... But what happenned to him?
I am on my first watch and just watched Siobahn get her neck snapped.
That guy needs to go. I'm sure he is but I was gutted. Revenge won't make it better.
I think that Hood couldn't be really in love with Siobhan, considering his love for Ana. Ana was very important to him. Could be him really in love?
Let's talk about Veronica Dawson... I really hate this character... So arrogant and this crush with Hood... I think they needed to put a female character to surprise in 4th season. And all the resolution of the murders was so easy...
I’m only on season 2 and as of now Brock is the biggest hater I hope he gets better as the show goes on
Sidenote: Hood has slept with damn near half the town 😂
Hi all I'm looking for a line from banshee, I have seen these lines in a screenshot like the scene and subtitle , it was something like that: the guy saying these lines to a woman : "when I met you you had a husband you had a beautiful life but not with me it fucking killed me ", can anyone find this a link to this line or screen shot, thanks in advance
I've just finished Banshee. Really loved it! Now, what's next? Which is my next tv show to watch?
Sugar is definitely one of my favorite characters. But if he was an ex con. How did he get a liquor license to open up a bar??? I'm sure some of you have asked yourself that before.
!Gordon's death was so unnecessary. When he decides to join Hood to rescue Carrie, I thought it was a great turn for his character and I really liked seeing him in an aggressive and strong mode. But they have all been saved from the worst shootings and the worst thugs, in the worst scenarios where it seemed that there would no longer be anyone who could survive, and he dies in a corner, wearing a bulletproof vest and without having left the place where he was. He deserved to be with his children and return to Carrie, even if Carrie didn't deserve him. I felt devastated by his death.!<
What's the deal with this show I manged to find season 1 that'll work for me but the other seasons seemed region locked
Overall i enjoyed it. Loved all the characters except Ana/Carrie.
I don't know why but i hated her character, whether it was due to writing or the actress. Her character seemed pretty pointless in S4. Even when she fucked up Proctor in the finale, i was rooting for Proctor. In the earlier seasons she was the typical "i have to protect my family", but then ends up doing the opposite.(especially that S3 heist). I disliked her throughout the show. (This character was my only problem in the show. If she had been better written i think this show would undoubtedly be one of my fav shows.) I could rant about it so much.....
Loved all the other characters...Sugar,Job,Rebecca,Siobhan,Brock,Bunker.... Throughout the show i was waiting for the fall of Kai but when it eventually came i felt pretty sad and didn't want him to die. His character was so well written and acted. I loved his character.
Ofc loved our sheriff.
Siobhan's death was the saddest moment for me.
S3 (upto E8) was the best for me. Even by Banshee standards that S3 heist was so stupid and infuriating.
S4 felt a little off. Lucas Hood didn't do much action in S4. But the finale was so good.
Overall found it fun and enjoyable.

In the gritty world of "Banshee," where deception and violence reign supreme, the characters are often thrust into harrowing circumstances that test the limits of their humanity. Among these characters, Gordon stands out as one of the most tragic figures in the series.
Gordon's journey is marked by betrayal, heartbreak, and a relentless struggle to salvage what remains of his shattered life. His wife's deception, concealed for so long, eventually unravels their marriage, leaving behind a trail of broken trust and irreparable damage. Despite his efforts to reconcile with his wife and move past the betrayal, the scars of her actions run deep, haunting him in every moment.
The path Gordon treads is one of tragic inevitability. Faced with the crushing weight of his reality, he seeks solace in the fleeting distractions of strip clubs and alcohol, only to find himself sinking deeper into despair. Even as he extends forgiveness to his wife and attempts to rebuild their fractured relationship, fate deals him a cruel hand, culminating in a tragic end at the hands of the one he once loved.
You may hold a different opinion on Gordon. I am glad to discuss more details about it.

Protagonist prefers letting people guess "What's your name", rather than saying “Say my name”.
I just finished binging the entire show and man I want to write a 20 paragraph rant on how peak this show is, seriously why isn’t this talked about alongside shows like BB, sopranos, better call Saul? This is probably my second favorite show ever after The Wire there’s moments that I know I will remember forever, Siobhan’s death was done so perfectly I LITERALLY HATED THE WRITERS SO MUCH FOR THAT IVE NEVER BEEN MORE UPSET OVER A CHARACTERS DEATH.
That one random British dude
Nola (mommy) vs Burton was the most unpredictable fight scene everrrr
Rip my boy Jason 🙏
The writing is peak, the acting is peak, the action is peak I literally cannot name one thing I disliked about this show.
I’m trying to decide who my favorite character was and I can’t it’s a tie between Sugar, Hood, Job and Brock
Brock for sure had the best character arc, change my mind.
Also the last episode with Sugar’s speech to cap it off how do any of y’all not like the ending 🥺🫵
