Hey everyone! I'm a 25m who is moving back to Paris this week. I'm really excited to explore the city and meet some new people. I'm into going out to bars and clubs, sports (especially soccer and basketball), and exploring the city and trying new things. If you're interested in hanging out, feel free to DM me! Let's grab a drink, catch a game, or explore the city together.
I've been in Paris for 3 years and have seen many people come and go and have made some really great friends who at some point ended up leaving the city.
This is the side of expat life that I find really challenging: you invest a lot of time and energy finding friends, building and maintaining relationships, only to have to do it all over again.
I’m 29F and I'd love to meet people around my age who're staying here long-term (no erasmus/students or au pairs 🩷) We could hang out and if we vibe, build a friendship!
If some of you are interested, I’m thinking about organizing a small gathering (6-8 people maximum) on Wednesday for an Italian dinner near Place d’Italie.
Comment if you’d like to meet and talk over some nice food!
Hi, I have two tickets for Alcest (L'Olympia, Fri 6 Dec, 8pm). Places are Mezzanine Carre OR which is sold out right now. Offering one ticket to someone who'd like to go with me. About me : 22F art student, would appreciate someone around my age who actually listens to Alcest. I speak English and French. PM me if interested !
J'offre une place pour le concert Alcest le 6 décembre, MP si intéressé.e !
Hey! Just wanna start working out. Very beginner here. Looking for gym buddies to go working out ✨

Hey everyone!
I'm looking to create Paris's largest group dining community! Through my network of connections with well-known Parisian restaurants, I'd love to guide this community in discovering both iconic establishments and hidden gems across the city.
The idea is simple: we start with a Discord server where we can all shape these dining experiences together. I'll help coordinate and leverage my restaurant relationships, but the community will drive what we do!
What we're planning:
Through Discord, we'll:
Whether you're a local, new to Paris, or just visiting, everyone's welcome! From classic bistros to new spots, I'm excited to facilitate these dining experiences while adapting to what the community wants.
Want to join Paris's most dynamic dining community? Drop your thoughts below and I will create that Discord community :)
See you soon
Hi can I ask where the flea markets be at this Sunday? Also if there will be one in les puces as I heard its famous.
May I know if there is one place that’s more famous than the others as I am trying to find vintage watches and rings, purses that are cheap and maybe also have digital cameras (but not necessary) but so far all the flea markets ive been to have been not too great..

Hello, I'm here from India in September, I speak a little bit of French and fluent English. I'm looking for new friends in Paris! Connect me if you want to..
Hi everyone,
I recently moved to Paris from the UK to start my master’s program, and what a journey it has been! After the initial whirlwind, I’m finally settled in and loving the city. However, there’s one hurdle I’m still struggling to overcome—learning French.
I attend a French class once a week, but let’s be honest—it’s barely scratching the surface. To make things more challenging, my job involves teaching English in a professional setting, so I get absolutely no practice with French there.
That’s where you (hopefully) come in! I’m looking for a friendly language exchange partner. I’ll help you polish your English while you patiently endure my attempts at French. If you’re up for some fun conversations and mutual learning, let’s meet!
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi ! I am a 23 years old Italian in Paris. I was looking for squats or places like rue de rivoli 59, where I could find some music and beer! Open for suggestions and to meet new people 🥰
Hey, I (24F) was an international student in Paris two years ago and am now working here. I really appreciate the community of SocialParis.
My partner and I are working on an idea for an app to help international students and workers (focused on Paris for now) connect with people who share their interests and, most importantly, their vibe. The app will be free to download. We’re both engineers with a background in AI and want to design something that genuinely addresses what people need. We’ve already started developing our friend-matching system powered by AI.
We’d love to hear your thoughts! If anyone is open to sharing what you’d look for in such a platform—over a Google Meet—please comment or DM me.
Thank you so much!
Hey,
I’d like to meet up with native Japanese speakers for informal conversations in a café or similar setting. I’m fluent in French and English and would be happy to help you practise either or both languages.
I don’t speak much Japanese, but I’m very interested in Japanese culture. I’d love to learn more about Japan through our conversations, and if I pick up some basic Japanese along the way, that would be a bonus.
This is for fun and socialising—no money involved.
Thank you!
29M, have to finish a presentation for monday and would like to meet uo for anything before the weekend ends, walk by the canal, café, movie, whatever
I´m not a local, so I am open to suggestion if there are nice places in the 19th I might have missed
hiii ! socializing is hard but i’ve been in paris for only a year now, and i want to have my own social circle so badly. all the friends i have are older and i can’t relate to them as a 21 yo who’s still in uni :(
if you like fashion, dressing up, learning about designer and keeping up with that world hmu! i’m very nice (i believe), and love making friends.
ps. if you’re a law student like me, maybe we’ll bond even more (due to the trauma of this major LOL).
I am traveling solo for a week in Paris and since most museums seem to be closed for the New Year's day, I wondered if there are any other solo travellers who maybe wanna get a bite to eat and have a good conversation while taking in the beauty of Paris? Hit me up if you are interested in the idea.
Hello! This is more of a post for a friend than for me.
I used to live in France but moved abroad. I have a friend (29F) who is super nice and a great person but she hasn't got many friends since I left and she struggles to make new friends on her own. She doesn't like the idea of meeting people online (she's tried dating apps for that and it didn't work) and she doesn't go out much. I'm currently in Paris for the holidays and we've hung out a bit but I know once I leave, she'll probably stay holed up again. Do you have any recommendations on how to make friends here and where to really meet people? She can be a bit shy and doesn't like going places alone. I'm at a loss here. I see it pains her but not sure what to tell her. I only lived in Paris for a few months and am not too sure what to recommend her. Any help is greatly appreciated!
My partner and I are going to Paris in a week and we’re looking on getting out amongst the night culture. Does any one have any suggestions for places to go for people around the age of 30 looking to have a good time? We’re quite open minded and happy to push ourselves outside our comfort zone. Our French is terrible but we’re trying our best :)
Thanks in advance
Hey everyone!
I’m a 26M working in IT here in Paris. While I’ve been lucky to meet some amazing people, most of my friends are women, and I’d love to balance things out by connecting with more guys around my age for casual hangouts and conversations.
A bit about me:
🎮 I’m into video games (always up for recommendations or gaming sessions).
🌟 Big fan of Japanimation—let’s geek out over the latest shows or classics!
🚀 Sci-fi enthusiast—books, movies, or series, I’m all in.
🔬 Science is a passion of mine; I enjoy discussing cool discoveries or breakthroughs.
If you’re in Paris and think we’d vibe, feel free to send me a DM. It’d be awesome if you could share your Instagram, so we can chat a bit before meeting up!
Looking forward to meeting some new faces. 😊
Hey there, I was just wondering if there's any computer friendly cafe with socket to work in Paris besides Starbucks. Some cafe listed on Google either don't have a socket or they no longer allow computer... its not very updated 🥲.
Everything is in the title, I feel so bored 🥱
