A place for organising reddit meetups and social events in London. From our legendary pub crawls, to midweek meetups. Or anything else you can think of.
This is not for promoters or advertisers. It's for events that you are attending. For gigs, pre-drinks at a nearby pub is good. Check any of the other posts, mobile numbers are the best way to find someone.
Newcomers are always welcome. No exceptions. No need to post an introduction, just reply to the thread to say hi, and turn up! Although we do have the rule you need to be 18+, even for non-drinking events.
Guidelines:
1: Post the subject line IN THE FOLLOWING FORMAT:
[DD/MM/YY] Event @ Location
2: Provide as many details as possible, with links to relevant websites in the self-post. Mods may remove vague or unclear posts.
3: You must be going to events you post.
4: Provide your contact details to help others find you as early as possible. On the day at the latest.
5: Give plenty of notice - anything less than a few days is usually a bad idea.
6: Don't post links to WhatsApp Groups (or other chat groups) in the Sub - there are bots that trawl the internet for WhatsApp groups and spam them

Hello! I'll be seeing Sports Team at Kentish Town on Monday 25th November! They are a very fun and energetic indie rock group, that I have seen twice already.
Like I said in my previous posts, I'm 27M and massively into live music. I am going through my run of autumn gigs right now.
If anyone would like to join me, then let me know!
Also, I have a balcony ticket rather than standing. I will be standing behind the rail to get the best view of the gig! So make sure you have that ticket if you would like to join me.
Tickets are still going here: https://dice.fm/event/7ddm6b-sports-team-25th-nov-o2-forum-kentish-town-london-tickets
I’m going to the Berlioz concert on the 18 of December. Don’t really know anyone that likes this kind of music so I was thinking about making a group to go to this event. They are performing their album ‘deep in it’, and also performing on the 17th and 19th. Dm me if interested!

If anyone’s up for it, drop me a message :)
Hey everyone! I (24M) recently heard a story of a few friends who've been going to the same pub every Thursday for the last 56 years and that inspired me to see if there'd be interest in doing a recurring coffee outing.
I've really enjoyed going to run clubs, board games nights, and gigs to meet new people but there's also joy in idleness so it'd be great to just sit down and chat to new people.
Me and a few friends are heading to The Barn in Rotherhithe (if the weather's good) at 11. Feel free yo DM me if you'd want to join :)
Hi all, I have 2x spare tickets for the above concert details are here (DM me if you're interested, happy to discuss pricing too)

It’s that times of year Christmas is coming and so is the final Crawl for the year!
Save the date, Saturday the 7th of December. The crawl will start at 12pm and follow the usual routine of 1-2 hours being spent at each pub, ending up at our final pub at 8pm to dance/drink the night away!
This years crawl will be around the Southwark to Borough area, some bars are confirming they can accommodate so there may be some pub changes.
12:00 - 14:00 The Ring 72 Blackfriars Rd, London SE1 8HA
14:00 - 16:00 The Lord Nelson 243 Union St, London SE1 0LR
16:00 - 18:00 Mc & Sons Borough 160 Union St, London SE1 0LH
18:00 - 20:00 The Rose & Crown 65 Union St, London SE1 1SG
20:00 - 23:00 The George 75 Borough High St, London SE1 1NH
Do I need to sign up to something/confirm anything?
No. Don't have to register/sign up/join/confirm anything.
Do I need to go to all of the pubs?
No, feel free to pop in and out whenever you like.
I'm not sure if I should come?/I'm nervous
Everyone is more than welcome to come and everyone was new once.
Costumes?
Not mandatory but Christmas jumpers are always nice :)
I don't drink?
Not a problem! The only rules we have is you need to be 18+ and don’t be a dick.
What if I get lost?
On the day they'll be a few numbers posted here for you to get a hold of us. You can try to message myself or other mods on Reddit but as I found out last year, the messaging on Reddit doesn’t alway work and I got some peoples messages a few days after the crawl (Sorry about that). So it’ll be faster and easier getting a hold of us by texting/calling the numbers listed.
My number is 0seven5four0 six6seven4eight6.
If you're not into texting, turn up to any of the pubs on the schedule at the times listed and we'll be there (give or take 5 minutes). Over time, we'll be pretty easy to find as the crawl grows.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Hey,
I'm looking to meet other people interested in synthesizers and jamming. To get things going I'm planning to go to CRUX AV at New River Studios this Sunday to watch the performances. Come along if you think this would interested you :)
Looking to spend a Monday evening a week chatting with friendly redditors? Hammersmith Hang Out is for you.
So what happens at this meetup?
Each week this meet up is held in a pub - we all sit around a table and generally chat about anything we can think of.. that's pretty much all there is to it! There are usually a few who will get dinner from the Thai restaurant at the pub. We get people aged from 18 to in their 60s, but the majority are 24-40. You can turn up at any time, people usually start leaving between 9 and closing, there are nearly always plenty left at closing time (last orders - 11). Currently we are getting 15-20 people turning up.
Do you talk about reddit and memes all evening?
No! reddit is hardly ever mentioned, there are no laptops in sight and we've had plenty of people who have not used reddit.
Can I come along?
Of course - that is why it is posted on LSC each week, the meet up is very newbie friendly - we have people new to LSC join us regularly. If you're very very shy don't hesitate to message/text/call me ahead of the pub and let me know, I'll do what I can to get you chatting away with everyone as if you've been every week.
What if I don't want alcohol?
No problem! The pub also serves various soft drinks, fruit juices, tea, coffee and water. We have non-drinkers often.
Since after the above people still asked...
I'm ********* is it OK if I come along?
We have had men, women, transgender, British, foreign (even a northerner or two), gay, straight, drinkers, non-drinkers, smokers, non-smokers, religious and non-religious
In fact, the only people who wouldn't be welcome are those under 18 or anyone who is not able to conduct themselves appropriately in an adult social situation.
Please note that this meetup occurs every Monday**
Is this happening today?
Is today Monday?
Yes: Yes! It'll be today**
No: Nope, try next Monday**
Aww, I missed this when is the next one?
Monday**
** we meet on public holidays, but if Monday falls on Christmas or New Years Day we'll likely skip those.
Location/Time: Latymers, W6 8BS / People often start turning up from 19:00ish but can be as early as 18:30. I'll get there for 19:00-19.30. There are usually a few people left when the pub closes - usually 23:00
Our tables are reserved, we start on the circular tables close to the entrance and we might spill over onto the table(s) nearby.
The first table will either be outside or at the front to the right of the door. (also, there will be Reddit on the reserved signs And hopefully Snoo)
There's a (usually quiet) optional Whatsapp group for the meetup - message me via chat for an invite link. (whatsapp group is pretty much only me posting this link each week and trying to get people to actually respond.. So no benefit of being in it if you're not showing up).
Come join us for our weekly pub quiz!
Where: The Mitre, Greenwich (291 Greenwich High Rd, London, SE10 8NA)
When: 17 November 2024
Info to know: Table is booked from 7.15pm but quiz starts at 8pm. Its a mix of picture, music, mystery voices and general knowledge.
No super geniuses expected, just people who want to take part and have fun. £2.50 via card is paid to the quiz host to take part and prizes can be won for 1st and 2nd place. We'll will be there from 7.15pm.
Any questions, pm me and I'll answer the best I can. We have a WhatsApp group you can join at the pub during the quiz itself.
