Getting the skate legs back is tough😭
Im terrified. My spacial awareness is shit. I bump into people everywhere I go/walk/run without even realising, I never know where to go so I'm not in the way and it gets anoyying for others I'm scared if I go to a skatepark I'll be in people's way, fall into other people, ram into them or just be an overall annoyance to the whole park. Especially because my local is very very small and I'm very new to skating so I don't know any removers to quickly get out of someones personal space or anything of the such.
I’m putting together a skate bag what should I have in it? Some essentials and non.
Heya! I was wondering if anyones tried skating in a long skirt and if it went well or with fabric in the wheels?
I grew up skating but haven't skated in the last 20 years so am pretty rusty. I'm now a 30 something mom with twin preschoolers that like to scooter around the neighborhood and walking paths nearby. They have gotten confident enough that they now go faster than I can walk. I was thinking I should get a skateboard to help keep up. Any suggestions of what type of set up would provide stability and easy to maintain a slow steady speed?
hubby & i had electric boards back when i was in college, had so much fun! busted my butt a few times but always got back on & had a blast. moved & ended up selling them but good times💯
I fell on my face yesterday and chipped/cracked my tooth. Found tooth fragments in my lip
I got the skater energy cause I just take hits but big ouch
Hello ladies!!! First off I love this community, you guys are so freaking badass and I love the videos!! 😎 Question about what you use and preferences. I lost my helmet and borrowing one right now. Does anyone have a helmet brand/style preference that they just absolutely love? I know it’s all about what you want and pick something good, but was curious if anyone had one that they would swear by or anything? Thanks!
Any ladies in southern or middle Ohio? I need lady skate friends 🫶🏻
Help me gain a following!
More on my instagram ! :D
Hi!
I'm looking into buying a new deck, so I was going through the post about woman-owned skateboard brands, and I noticed that some of the brands listed are out of business and most of them are in the USA. Also on some websites I can't find who the owners actually are and if they are skaters (which is important to me).
I made a new list but I'm a bit more flexible because I want more options worldwide. So I'm also listing brands that have female skaters in their team but are not women-only. It's not finished yet but I will update it. If you have any new suggestions please share it.
Whats up everybody!
( I want to start by saying thank you for not instantly removing my post like the other skate subs! )
I am a pop-punk/rock musician and I just finished recording my new album. The new album is a callback to songs from the early 2000s. I wanted to make a music video with skate videos, but instead of finding random skate videos, I wanted to work with a group/team/collective of skaters as a collaboration - to use and promote their videos, their team, and edit them to produce a music video for my song.
If you are part of a skate team/group/collective and would possibly like to be part of this, you can either comment and I'll message you or feel free to send me a message. I'm choosing the group/team that is most inline with my vibes, so don't feel discouraged if other people comment before you guys.
(this part doesn't matter)
I've never been a skater, but I've tried and failed. I look up to you guys so much. no matter what, keep skating! thank you so much for allowing me to ask
