/r/ShinyPokemon is a collection of all the great shinies trainers have collected. Whether it be by random encounters or trying to find that perfect shiny Pokémon on purpose, we welcome you to show off your beautiful Pokémon!

The mods are always available if you have any questions, concerns, or recommendations for our subreddit.

  4. Low effort submissions will be removed.
  5. Ask questions in the pinned help thread.
  6. One submission per user per 60 minutes. Stream links must be live when posted.
  7. Trades are not permitted. We recommend r/CasualPokemonTrades. Giveaways must adhere to giveaway rules.
  8. Unreleased game content will be removed. Newly released content will be spoiler marked for 2 weeks from release.

[8] Shiny Applin after 5 phases and 13,407 total RE

So beyond excited, dream team member #2 is finally here. 2686 encounters into phase 5 and this guy decides to shine. He's destined to become a Flapple when I unlock the tart apple, and his name is Carnation.

A quick aside on the hunting location: I looked for this guy on route 5 with a fainted harvest mon in the front of my party, bringing Applin up from 10% to 30% (I think, correct me if I'm wrong). I know you can find it elsewhere at 65% with harvest, but I wanted it before having to unlock the second wild area 🤷‍♀️.
