4. Posts must be tagged with platform and version
All posts must have either an [iOS] or [android] tag in the post title according to what platform the poster is talking about, as well as app version e.g. [2022.XX.X]. We also ask that the user sets their flair as well.
Post title requirements can be found here.. You can select your post flair from the “Add flair” button when submitting a post.
5. No NSFW or Personal Content
The publishing of the personal information of yourself/someone else is strictly prohibited, and could even get you banned from Reddit itself. Additionally, NSFW posts have no place on /r/redditmobile and posting one may result in a ban. It's okay to post a screenshot of NSFW subreddits if it clearly is about the app, those posts must be tagged as NSFW.
6. No common posts or recent reposts
Posts that are commonly/were recently posted to the subreddit will be removed at the discretion of the moderation team. Please search before posting and if you find a similar recent post, comment and upvote there for better visibility. Please also reference the most recent changelog stickied to subreddit to see if the issue you are experiencing has already been acknowledged or even been recently patched in a newly shipped update.

Hey all,
As some of you may have seen, at the end of 2023, we made some updates to our support ecosystem: implementing a new beta program for our mobile apps, launching a new subreddit dedicated to tracking Reddit bugs and archiving the r/Beta community - all long overdue.
We’re constantly looking for additional ways to improve awareness and communication around bugs/bug fixes and widespread issues to improve your experience on the platform. For this reason, today we’re making the move to archive r/RedditMobile and transition to using r/Bugs as the central bug reporting subreddit for all redditors across platforms.
This change will centralize reporting for redditors and create better visibility on these issues among our Product, Community, and Engineering teams by simplifying our reporting pathways. We’ve chosen to use r/Bugs as the central subreddit for reporting potential bugs (shocking, we know), and r/RedditBugs for tracking the statuses of many of those reported issues.
To all the helpful users that have frequented r/RedditMobile over the years and provided some top notch bug reports - we hope you’ll continue to be active over in r/Bugs!
Replying through the notifications doesn't work, it's just loading endlessly.
Is there a way to remove the annoying red heart at the top of the app? Valentines Day is dumb, and it was two days ago.
Not able to leave community even after clicking on both leave community from more options and clicked on joined button. I am getting feedback that I ledt, but when I go back, I can still see the community appearing on my home feed and also when I click on the drawer I can see the community appearing again
I have disabled this feature several times because it re-enables itself. Why does this happen and why does this feature even exist? Why would anyone want to attribute a post to the app, let alone retain a copy of the image they downloaded that’s a lower size and resolution than the original they wanted, degrading the quality?????
I get notifications for messages being sent to me on here often, but I only have interest in receiving them from certain people. And by notifications, I mean the push notifications on my phone.
Is there a way to essentially whitelist certain people so it only sends those notifications when it's those people messaging you?

On desktop animated sub icons work fine in all areas (feed, sidebar, etc...) it also works fine via mobile browser, but it no longer works on the iOS mobile app and i don' t think it works on Android. I was pretty sure that this worked before on the official apps, can this be fixed so it works on the apps or was this removed on purpose?

when I started using reddit, i logged in with my Apple ID. however, I wasn’t asked to create a password. then I was provided with a default email that I cannot use. I’m currently unable to change my password, link any additional accounts, or change the email itself. anyone who has information, help me out.
NSFW images are any subreddit are being blurred on my tablet which is using reddit mobile even though I have the blur NSFW images turned off. It is just ignoring the setting and blurring the image anyway. As far as I can tell it started today as it did not do this last night.
Description: NSFW images being blurred even though said feature is turned off in settings
Device model: Fire HD 10 9th Gen
OS version: Fire OS 7.3.2.9
Steps to reproduce: Visit any subreddit with NSFW images
Expected Result: Image thumbnails should be unblurred as the appropriate setting is off in app settings. So thumbnails should not be blurred.
Actual Result: Images are being being blurred and the app is ignoring relevant settings.
Screenshot(s) or a screen recording: I can't show a screenshot without breaking TOS
I checked both my Reddit settings and my phone settings. Everything is on.
Edit: Reinstalling Fixed.
Why? This not only pauses my music unnecessarily, but also doesn't restart my music when I leave the video. It worked fine before, just play both the video audio and my music. If I can't hear something I'll pause my music myself. Reddit doesn't have to do this for me.
Make this an option or revert it the way it was.
The disable thumbnails setting doesn't work and resets each time the app is reloaded.
I want to turn this off because am unable to read messages as I keep seeing this.
I only want to see the threads for the posts I tap on, not random ones when I’m swiping to go back to my feed.
I will be browsing reddit, click on a post and read it, then go back to the home screen using android back gesture. Sometimes it doesn't take me back to where I was in the home content. Instead it acts like a refresh and new content shows.
No sound plays when viewing embedded Redgifs on the Reddit app, but if I go to the Redgif website the audio plays just fine.
When running Reddit on a device without Google Play Services, it'll give you a notification telling you Google Play Services is required and that it's missing from your device. This is annoying, it isn't required, there's alternatives like microG, and sometimes it'll give you a warning out of nowhere, even with Reddit completely closed. Its a very annoying feature and does nothing good.
I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S6 running crDroid 9 (Android 13 based)
For the past couple of weeks the Android mobile app now opens the browser to access modmail, and requires a login each time. Any way to fix this. I used to be able to access modmail directly through the app.
*crossposts. Is there anyway to stop this happening? And from subreddits I'm not even subbed to. I don't want to see people getting shot and I don't want to turn off nsfw posts.
Hey, the reddit app isn't letting me view any accounts. I'll click on one to view and it'll load for a second then switch to what's in the screenshot. I've checked on browser and it works fine, and I've uninstalled the app and the issue persists. Anyone have any clues?
