Anyone have any pics on what a 2-bdr for 3 looks like. I legit cannot find anything online.
I just submitted my EA application to Purdue, but my school counselor did not upload my transcript or my LORs before the deadline. I self-reported all of my grades, and will request him to send it on Monday if possible, but will this prevent my application from being considered?
Hello,
I’m currently studying at a community college and hoping to transfer to Purdue to pursue engineering. I’m most interested in nuclear and aerospace engineering, but my parents think chemical engineering might offer broader job options, it’s hard to decide.
Since I’ll be transferring, I probably won’t have time to do a double major or minor, so I’ll have to pick one. I know Purdue has strong programs in each of these areas, and I’d really appreciate insight into each program, especially academic experience, career opportunities, future trends, and also if any of these programs have specific advantages or resources at Purdue.
Thank you!!
This will sound stupid but I didn't expect for apartments to cost that much. How much would joining the military save me in terms of housing? I have no opposition to killing for money. Would ROTC or National Guard pay for more?
g-d willing i just want cheap housing
(also gonna post on the Purdue housing subreddit, I know) I looked up past posts about this but only saw some very brief or vague comments about SmartDigs. I am possibly a bit overly suspicious of the company, mostly because I have barely seen anyone talk about it at all. They have a rental listing that would be perfect for me but I wanna see if anyone else has any experience with them before putting in any applications or signing any leases.
Hi,
So im currently in FYE and am looking to either go into EEE or Civil Engineering. The issue is that I am failing cs 159 and don't see myself getting better before the semester ends. It will defiantly drag my gpa down even though I am doing okay in my other classes. Could anyone let me know if I should worry and what you reccomend?
i do pretty well in my classes that are related to my major but as soon as the semesters over i pretty much forget everything i learned and i dont know how to retain it better + what im going to do when i actually have to get a job. any tips? reassurances?
I can’t find one anywhere for the 2br/2ba does anyone have photos to share 😭😭
I'm currently taking the ME-29700GC course and was wondering if anybody knows how much I'd need to get an A in this class? Checked boilerclasses but couldn't find a ballpark.
please baddies only just want to keep the vibes going
How is it? Does it worth to take?
Thanks
its annoying asf how many people take phone calls in study areas where its supposed to be quiet.... like please take them outside for Christs sake.
There used to be like 3 homeless people camped out camped out near Chauncey Square. Some people may feel one way or another about those people. But now they not there.
One of those came into the Target on state street and showed the manager a graphic youtube video of a Polar Bear fighting a Walrus and was commentating it like it was WWE, “He hit him with the 1 2 Mayweather.” And then after he left, the manager called the cops and ordered a trespass on him.
Personally I come from a place where the cops do absolutely nothing. So I mean yea that was an overreaction to a homeless guy acting crazy but like in my hometown, if your car gets stolen, the cops will tell you that it that maybe you should be more prepared. And if a store gets robbed, the police will tell the store to not bother them about minor inconveniences.
I heard the lines were really long.
I am a senior and I still have not received the registration link from my advisor with the Registration PIN. I have requested a transfer from this advisor the last six semesters and been told its not possible each time. The submission deadline is in two weeks, and because I took a gap year between my freshman year and sophomore year I am not on the same course plan as my classmates due to COVID changes. I am worried the classes I need will be full, or that there will not be time to resolve scheduling conflicts. This happens every semester. I am a senior. I should have had everything squared away in September, and would have if I could actually access the course request form but for the last 6 weeks I have just been told I will be receiving the registration link "very soon". Beyond a certain point, malice and incompetence are indistinguishable, and I will be graduating in spite of my advisor as opposed to benefiting from their supposed "professional insight" as the Purdue advising website phrases it.

Hey everyone, I need some quick help!
I just submitted my Common App to Purdue University, but I realized right after that I accidentally entered the wrong grade for my Biology class. I put 9.7 instead of 8.7, which was a total mistake. I’m freaking out a bit because I want to make sure they don’t see this as a major error or think I was being dishonest.
Does anyone know if there’s a way to correct this immediately? Should I call the admissions office directly, or is there another way to fix it quickly? I’d really appreciate any advice on the fastest way to get this corrected. Thanks in advance!
This is my last attempt to visit some friends at UIUC this weekend. If you're going there and are willing to carpool I will give you $30 plus my share of the gas costs. Please dm if willing :)
I want to apply for MEM Fall 25. Would love to connect with People who got admit for Fall 2025.
I just want to share that I feel so defeated. This housing thing has caused a lot of stress for already overwhelmed students and families trying to pay bills. The Board of Trustees, admissions and marketing keep pushing this campaign of frozen tuition but new incoming families do not know what is going on outside of tuition. Students and parents coming into this thinking room and board is $12,000 a year and you can survive without a car and live on campus. In reality, a place closer to campus could be $20K or more. The bus situation at nights and on Sundays is not great. Just feel like there is little honesty and transparency here and this cycle keeps on being perpetuated. When is this going to stop?
How is this class in the winter? Is it self-paced? Are any winter classes self-paced with manageable workload?
Does anyone have a picture of the floor plan or a picture of the apartment itself for 19 Waldron? I was able to snag a 1 bedroom apartment but there's no pictures on the housing website and I'd like to know what I'm getting into.
So i might be studying abroad for a year, and I have to choose between Purdue University and University of Virginia.
I know that Purdue is ranked higher, but what about the overall experience? If you’ve studied cs at any of these I’d love to hear your thoughts!
I’ve recently picked up reading as a hobby and it would be pretty cool if there was a book club that shared thoughts on books that the group read.
Who the hell makes lab groups for CS 159 lab? How do they make them? Is it random?
Why do I keep getting paired with people that never do anything and I always have to end up carrying for the sake of my own grade? I get that this is college and life will be like this in general but come on. I don't want to be the guy who reports people to the TA but this is absolutely ridiculous. Every single lab so far I've had to pretty much do by myself, and these remaining few labs are no joke.
When I apply to the college of business am I placed directly into the major I pick or am I placed into first year business and declare my major later?
