Nothing can be more abhorrent to democracy than to imprison a person or keep him in prison because he is unpopular. This is really the test of civilization

The true test of society is how well it treats its prisoners and old people.

The test of a civilization is in the way it cares for its helpless members

New Jersey Prison Question’s

I’m a 20yo male getting sentenced on June 10th for 18 months in prison I took a plea deal, I have a series of questions mind you I was in jail for a week so I somehow know how it works, I also have the graves act on my charge, my public defender mentioned I may also be able to get a graves waiver signed.

  1. How much of my time do I have too do before I can apply for parole/halfway house/camp?

  2. What programs can I apply for and what are the best and is there any animal programs in NJ?

  3. What prison will I be sent too? And how is the environment and conditions?

Feel free too leave any advice and questions you may have.
