I was looking around Eielson AFB in Alaska and was confused as the US Air Force doesn’t use any delta wing style fighter jets
Seen at a local airshow a couple of months ago. Wingnumber reads 40ISL, tailnumber reads 85888
I’m thinking a T-5 or T-38, correct me if I’m wrong
I'm making an art piece for a Veterans Day art show and need full reference photos of this type of plane preferably flying. This is a pic of my great grandfather's plane that he flew in WWII. I will be posting this in other groups as I need answers asap. Thank you!
Appears to be doing a fly by for Liberty Parade in Manhattan today.
Anyone able to identify what this is?
I think he did flight training in Canada in the lead up to WWII. He flew his whole life so I don’t know if that’s what’s shown here. I thought it looked like some kind of stearman but I couldn’t find any that had three handles in the top wing like the one in the picture. Any ideas?

But the livery is a bit funny because of the design of the livery.)
Sorry if this is a long shot but I can’t stop thinking about this thing I saw and don’t even know what to Google. I could not get a picture of the actual craft so my drawing here will have to do. It was a small, lime green flying object with 2 helicopter style propellers attached (one at the back, one at the middle/front). The body was split into 2 parts that were connected by a dark metal rod of sorts (kind of like a wasps body, but the “waist” part is longer). It was open-top like a convertible with a glass windshield. It was probably about the length of a small convertible too, though that’s a very rough estimate. There was 1 person seated in it and it didn’t look like it could hold anyone else. It was very loud and flying pretty low (like the height of a nice hobby drone, or a high-flying kite). Spotted overhead in Maryland.
