Example: Dave Blunts a morbidly obese guy whose music sounds like that SoundCloud rapper we all had in high school. And people worship him and his music and it makes no sense to me. Is it bc it’s trendy? Are people brain dead now? I mean his music is so bad it makes me laugh.. the lyrics are horrible and his delivery is just as bad. I don’t get it. Can someone enlighten me?
Wsp everyone. I just started music and my songs r kinda bad.. need someone to make beats and someone who knows how to use fl studio or something. Im broke rn so i cant pay for that.. if someones interested send me a dm (You can text me on my instagram: soulxzg)
Like lyrics aside, this is a legitimate good piece of music/melody it would seem strange to me if it wasnt taken from an actual song... If so then which one?
Song in question https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDDgFLbbrEY&ab_channel=NOWCOMEDY (it has a longish intro)
This band was fronted by a seriously disturbed individual who I remember in a video, encourages his listeners to kill themselves. His arms are completely covered in cutting scars and he would regularly cut himself and drink blood. He was Norwegian (or in that region). I know for a fact it's not Mayhem. I'm not even sure if that individual is still alive. Any help appreciated!
Love, Soul, and Pain" - An Emotional Journey Through Music
Dive into the raw and powerful emotions with "Love, Soul, and Pain," a soulful track that captures the essence of human experience. This song weaves together the delicate threads of love, the depth of the soul, and the heart-wrenching reality of pain into a harmonious melody that resonates with listeners on a profound level.
I'm sorry, this is going to be awful. About 5-7 months ago a new album was coming out, but it was vinyl only. My wife really wanted it, but we didn't have a player so forgot about it. For Christmas, I want to buy her a player and that album, but for the life of me. I can't remember it. I swore it was Lady Gaga's Harlequin - but that seems to be on CD. Unless the CD was released after the fact. The other thoughts was like, Dua Lipa's radical optimism, but again, I see that on CD. I'm 99% sure it was a female. It was someone who doesn't release music much. It might not have even been a full album. My wife is late 30's. Most of her music is Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, or EDM.... if anyone has a thought or rabbit hole I can go down, or maybe a different thread to post on. I would appreciate it!
Does Post Malone need anger management? At 1:23 into the video he 'accidentally' broke the antique typewriter, pulling the carriage clean off.

There are other interesting bloopers in the video with time stamps listed in the video description, or better just watch the whole video so you don't miss anything.
Hello everyone, since it’s that time of year again, and Consequence of Sound have declared Jack White their artists of the year, I thought I’d ask which artist has been your favourite ? As we all know, music taste is entirely subjective, and I don’t believe there is a wrong answer, I’m hoping for some good recommendations.
My personal choice would probably be The Cure for a few reasons. Putting out the best album they have made in a long time in Songs Of A Lost World. Live streaming an amazing gig to the world. Looking after their fans when it comes to ticket prices and sending cease and desist letters to re-sale sites. Donating to numerous charities and calling out other artists on outrageous ticket prices and the use of dynamic pricing.
There's only one person I can say "beat" UMG, regarding artist control and ownership.
and that was Taylor Swift, a white pop darling, at the peak of her powers, with pretty much unanimous support from the public, along with the support of multiple political representatives in US Congress.
Even with unanimous support from the fans, and support from an entire wing of the US Congress, she still had to record her entire catalog.
This is what Taylor at her peak had to do, with unanimous support from the public.
Drake is significantly weaker in 2024, than he was in 2021, and frankly a shell compared to 2016.
He's also universally reviled by hip hop, and among casuals he's seen as a clown, and "he got bodied by Kendrick." So he's smaller, he has pretty much no fan backing, most casuals don't see this as a artist ownership issue, there seeing this as a dude who's suing Kendrick, so his casual backing is nonexistent.
Drake is going into a fight he can't win, he's tryna beat UMG in a boxing ring, knowing he's gonna get knocked out, and knocked out bad.
2016 he should have pressed the issue.
Now he's looking dead in the water. This is the problem when you act like Drake. You can't be the top dog forever, domination eventually ends, every empire decays, every building's pillars eventually crack, hell the subatomic particles in our own universe one day will eventually decay, when you act like Drake, you expect to be immortal, but everyone eventually has their time where they must step down from the throne, but when you step down, how will you be treated? Eminem stepped down from the throne a long time ago, he's beloved in Hip Hop, 50 stepped down, I can keep naming people who were no.1 at one point. When Drake is no longer no.1, he will be surrounded by wolves who want his head, and now can finally take it.
I'm an LA native, so I can say this with confidence, when Kendrick retires, he'll be seen as a hero in LA, especially Compton, for the rest of his life, a beloved icon of Hip Hop and West Coast rap.
Drake burned every bridge he had with power, when he loses it, there will be no one to save him.
