"Moral Orel is a Stop Motion animated show that first aired on Adult Swim from 2006–08 created by Dino Stamatopoulos. Originally conceived as a satire of sitcoms from The '50s and The '60s, and designed to resemble an Affectionate Parody of Leave It to Beaver (not Davey & Goliath, despite the art style), the show, despite copious amounts of Executive Meddling, ultimately evolved into one of the darkest pieces of Western animation." - TvTropes |

For all things Moral Orel.
If you pray, you get your way; If you hope, the answer's nope.
Watch it on [adult swim], Amazon, Hulu, and iTunes

Idk if this means anything but rewatching this show and seeing Orel's Movie Premiere made me think of videos I've seen of professionals and people who had direct experience with it talking ab warning signs of abuse through children's drawings and what it can mean in context and seeing the way Orel potrays his dad as significantly bigger than him and everyone else with sharp teeth and always holding a drink.
this may possibly be a stretch but I don't know if this has been considered before and I'm wondering what others think ab this
The uploaded version on YT and the version I found on a pirate site are different. YT's older and the pirate site's seems "newer." I'm confused. Which one should I watch and what's the explanation for this?

God's Blunders (unpopular opinion but I'm neurodivergent so this episode hits home for me lol)
I came across moral Orel on TikTok and got obsessed. This show is exactly what I needed while processing religious trauma and having a hard time on the holidays. I really feel like this show was ahead of its time and the world is ready for it now plz. I want Shapey character development
Just to begin; both are correct. I’m not religious and I looked this up specifically because I was wondering. Both are correct.
However, the interesting thing is the version with “trespassers” is used mostly by Catholics which I just thought was hilarious considering the fear that Moralton has for Catholics.
So basically what this implies is all of Moralton says the prayer the way usually used by Catholics (whom they despise), and the Posebules are saying it the way typically used by Protestants (I think? Someone can fact-check me on this). This is hilarious because it just really hammers home how Hypocritical Moralton is and also probably part of why the Posebules booked it out of Moralton.
Imagine if the Posebules made it to church? That would’ve been chaotic.
To all German speaking moral Orel watchers, Does anyone know why only the first 13 episodes of moral Orel got a German dub? I find it kind of weird how they just stopped after the third episode of season two. If anyone has informations about this please lmk
Obviously we never see the character have any distinctive eye colours since their pupils are just black dots. But I would like to know your headcannons on different characters eye colours. Like Clay, Bloberta and Orel I feel like would have brown eyes. Shapey I feel like he'd definitely have Blue. It's been on my mind for a while. Let me know what you guys think.
I remember 10 years ago it was next to impossible to find full clips of episodes online and most of the uploads that existed were of poor quality. Returned to this show about a year ago after finishing Bojack Horseman and was shocked by what I saw: thorough essays on the show, full episodes reuploaded, reactions, fan animations and fanart, over 200 fics on AO3…how did this happen so quickly?? I’m elated my favorite show is finally getting the love it deserves but where did y’all come from and what took you so long to discover this gem?
