If you're in Canada that would be preferable!
My partner's birthday is coming up and I would like to make them a mix CD. I don't have the means of doing so it would be great if someone could do that.
After two playlists focused on soul, funk and rock music, I am excited to return to ambient, experimental and electronic sounds.
The July mixtape feels like going on an open-ended journey without a map. It’s unhurried, wandering, observant, unpredictable and adventurous. Melodies unravel slowly, soundscapes shift gradually, and textures dissolve into echoes and frequencies in captivating ways.
This one is particularly close to my heart. It includes tracks by several artists from back home (SANAM, Yara Asmar, Charbel Haber, Fadi Tabbal, Munma / Jawad Nawfal) who have been shaping the tight-knit Lebanese experimental scene with boundary-pushing sounds, often rooted in the harsh and unprecedented realities of the country’s social, political and economic landscape.
The mixtape also features two dear friends (aheich and Tendertwin), both of whom recently released their debut EP, and two stunning new tracks by all-time favorites Abul Mogard and Drew McDowall.
Special mention goes to the opening track ‘Streets and River’ by AM 4.
I hope you enjoy this compilation. It’s hauntingly beautiful and profoundly reflective. To appreciate it fully, an uninterrupted active listening session is recommended.

I made a bunch of mix cds that play fine and tracks can be skipped/ fast-forwarded on all players except for my car stereo. Car stereo starts at Track 1 every time it starts, and if I try skipping ahead, it just spins and spins silently processing before ejecting. This stereo can skip ahead tracks on studio produced commercial cds, so itd not the stereo.
What can I be doing differently, if anything, when burning cds to resolve this roblem?
So ive been using noteburner for a week now, id say it was amazing with good quality, although idk why all of the sudden it started to record the beginning of the song at the end of the recording again. So the start of the song would also be the ending of the song. To simplify the song starts again. Any suggestions?
For the most part, I can arrange songs as I like in a Playlist in whatever order i like, but there are some songs that get forced to the end of a list, even if I add songs/ try to pull songs down after them, and they cannot get dragged above other songs either. The file works and plays completely fine, will even burn on to a cd and play just fine, but for some reason it simply won't let me move them in the order I want. All the other songs can move up and down, but some get frozen in last place and cannot be moved even though I want other songs to come behind them. I cannot figure out what about these tracks is getting them stuck
Hello,
I am an archivist of music, and more specifically Japanese Hip-hop from the city of Nagoya, dating between 1999 and 2008 generally. This specific subset of music is incredibly obscure in the grand scheme of things, which I've found to be a shame given this scene's incredible talent to date. As such, I've committed myself to trying to foster an audience/appreciation of this music that may finally let it escape from its homeland.
While I've pursued many avenues of advertisement up until now, my next idea is mix CDs. I've been making 3 mix CDs so far, each with a different general mood. Each is at about 8 songs each thus far, with an ideal end count of 16-20 songs each.
If I could ask, is this avenue of advertisement truly a potentially successful avenue of boosting awareness of these musicians? I was thinking about distributing them in the general vicinity of events and locales dedicated to appreciation of Japanese media (or more honestly, anime clubs), with no further thought yet dedicated to how exactly these CDs are to be circulated.
Many thanks in advance!
Anyone fancy swapping mix CDs?

More on the process: as I listen to new music, songs that stand out land in a playlist. Toward the end of the month, I edit down the selection and reorder the songs to create a sequenced mixtape.
There are no particular genres I focus on; you'll find a bit of everything there. Anything that generates a strong emotional response is considered. The best makes the cut.
The mixtapes are shared on the last day of the month :)
If you decide to tune in, happy listening!
Anyone interested in a Mix CD exchange?

Hey hey, let’s you and me trade physical mix cds through the United States postal service, yeah?
i'm new to this and i'm looking for the easiest way to convert spotify songs into mp3 in order to burn onto cds. i've tried the free version of noteburner and it worked well for me. does anyone have experience with the premium paid version? is it legitimate? if not does anyone know any other legitimate softwares that can do this?
As the title says, I'm trying to make a mix that blends synth music across 4+decades.
My "poster child" song is Survivor - High on You which is like an incredible feel good (?) 80's banger.
So, I want to take that and mix it with tracks like College and Electric Youth - A Real Hero which, I'm not specifically using because it is like my favorite song of all time and is on a million of my mixes.
So, can you help? What are some, preferably B-side, but amazing 80's synth tunes you like, and/or what are some modern (or in between) synth heavy feel good tracks would you want on a mix like this? Hit me with all your electronic goodness today. I'm super flexible on genre, so if you've got an amazing EDM track, hardcore rap, alternative, dance, or country song that fits the bill, let me know. I'd prefer to stay away from songs without lyrics (it's cool if the song has a sample as a lyric), so while Tycho is an amazing musician, doesn't really fit the bill (I might still include a Tycho track if I get low).
Hit me, what do you have? Youtube links appreciated but not required.
Hey y’all, anyone wanna swap some mix cds through the postal service?

This website won't let me register from outside of Japan. I'd like to purchase this album. I would obviously compensate for the purchase and shipping of the vinyl through whatever means we can agree upon.
