Rules
- Post pictures or videos of minerals only. No jewelry. Artwork of minerals is okay. The higher the resolution the better!
- Include the mineral's name in the title, scientific names are preferred to trade names.
- No requests for identification. Try r/whatsthisrock or r/minerals instead.
- If the mineral has been altered, indicate that in the title or flair. Likewise for artwork of minerals.
- No posting minerals for sale by yourself or anyone else, here or anywhere else. Do not mention that a mineral is available unless explicitly asked by another user (then move to PM). No linking to shops. Repeated offenses will result in a ban.
- Don't be mean.
- Posting minerals from your personal collection is allowed and encouraged!
- Reposting a mineral that has already been featured here is okay, so long as you don't use an identical image.
- Please refrain where possible from discussing metaphysical properties or values of pieces.

Amethyst Stalactite Plate
My first amethyst in my collection. The crystals are full of geothite and the plate has several stalactite veins.
Its 12x20in, from Brazil. One of my favorites and sits on top of my display :D
