I know I have a big heart and cry during sad movies pretty regularly but I think in the current climate of our country people are very hostile to one another. Republicans tend to be more open to my opinions but they seem to lack empathy in regard to several areas. I am too conservative for most progressive Democrats since I am in favor of certain arguments for morality which conflicts with an anything goes approach. I'd describe myself as a conservative Social Democrat, essentially and I'm not going to pass any team red/team blue purity tests.
