Trying to %100 Lego Harry Potter 1-4. All I need are all the students in peril so I'm checking them one by one.
When going into hagrids hut in free play, Ron is throwing up slimes and hagrid is standing next to him, I am playing as fang. I am unable to switch to hagrid and hermonie is not present for me to be able to use the time turner. Tried to go in with second character who starts as hagrid but nothing I do on the controller makes him move.
Anyone know how to fix this?
I got LCU for the switch, and would love to play it, given all the love for it on here, but every time I turn to face the city at the start of the game my fps drops down to well below what I can be happy with. It seems to run worse than Skywalker saga and BotW which I would think are heavier games to run. Does anyone know of a way I can improve my fps in LCU?
This is gonna be more of a whining thread, but does anyone else find it irritating that cloud saving is not featured in most of the Lego games on Steam? How is it that Star Wars: The Complete Saga from 2007 has it, but DC Supervillains does not?
I want to play it on my Steam Deck and transfer the save, not having to hook the deck to my PC and sacrifice image quality to play it on the big screen. Cloud save allows me to seamlessly play it in 4K on the monitor, and then go back to the Deck.
If only I had an extra $5.60 I could buy both.😭
I’ve never played any Lego games before, but as a kid, I saw a gameplay of Lego Marvel and really wanted to try it. Recently, I noticed it was on sale and found it extremely cheap.
However, I also saw that Lego Batman is slightly more expensive, but it includes 3 games. This got me thinking about the themes.
When it comes to Marvel, I only like Spider-Man and the X-Men; I don’t enjoy or know much about the other characters.
On the other hand, I noticed that Lego Batman features several DC characters outside of the Batman universe, and I’m more familiar with characters from that publisher.
So, given this context, I’d love to hear opinions from people who have played both games, particularly regarding gameplay, open world, character variety, and other aspects.
Which one did you like more? Which one would you recommend for me? Should I go based on my personal preference for the characters, or are there major differences between the games as a whole?
When I try to use remote play together for lego games like lord of the rings or the hobbit I shift-tab to invite my friend to remote play, and they get to the loading screen with the lego game graphic. Then either nothing further, or their screen is black with a small red connectivity symbol on the bottom right, but they can still control the character despite not being able to see anything. When I shift-tab again to look at the steam menu it says I'm disconnected on the friends menu. I've tried playing without a firewall, running steam as administrator. We are both on Windows laptops.
Other games like plate up and castle crashers worked fine.
Any ideas?
I want to try and play most of the main Lego games, but I only own a selection of them, is there a good place to get them for the best price?
Is that the only option when playing with someone, did they give up on the dynamic split when close?
Edit: DC Supervillians
Hey, all. My son, wife, and I were all sharing a save file in Lego City Undercover, on Nintendo Switch. We are at 99.8% completed, after finishing Everything.
Despite Conquering all 20 Districts, and Completing all 17 Drill Thrills, their respective characters never unlocked for purchase. We even got credit for the Gold Bricks! (All 450)
A few things that may have caused this bug:
Does anybody know if you can re-trigger the unlocks?
...
Edit: Fandom.com has some pretty exhaustive guides. I was able to figure out that we haven't unlocked Rex Fury (Astronaut) or Rod Stanchion (Worker).
I'm playing Lego Jurassic World and a total newbie. My characters keep going through the gate they're not mean to and then I can't get them back. It's always the character I need to unlock the gate!!
I know it just slaps on achievements and a color filter with minimal changes, but for the life of me I could not run "Years 1-4". The game would crash immediately.
I've tried all the solutions I could find online. Uninstalled and reinstalled, verified game files, went into the pcconfig.txt file to manually change the screen and window resolution size, and even lowering the quality of my sound system to 16 bit 48000khz.
As title states. I'm on windows 10 trying to let my son play Lego Batman 3 and the second player keeps autojoining. He's using Xbox one controllers there is No DS4Windows and the game is NOT from steam
I had originally seen a user mention that deleting the old Xbox companion app fixed the problem, and it did- for about a day. He went to play again today and it's happening again but this time I have no companion app to delete so I'm at a loss what could be happening or what to disable.
I've:
Still, the game refuses to save a device/key binds for player 2 and as soon as you drop player 2 out, you're free to run around but the second you hit A/B/X/Y on the remote, in comes player two yet again.
I'm becoming beside myself with rage that I'm unable to pinpoint the issue so I'm hoping someone has an idea or two...
Edit 1: so I managed to keep away player 2 by adding the non-steam game to steam library, editing the binds so that the Xbox controller mimics the keyboard, and then launching through steam. This effectively is letting him play with the Xbox controller while the game is reading the input as keyboard. It's not a perfect fix but can someone more knowledgeable explain the issue and why it'll input a second player when it reads it as an actual controller?
I deleted my last 3 posts because my first post gave everything I need. (thanks for 10,000 views)
here's my order of doing the games that you guys suggested
1 Harry Potter 5-7
2 batman 2
3 city undercover
4 Star Wars tcs
5 marvel 1
6 pirates
7 indy 1
8 Star Wars 3
9 Star Wars tfa
This was filmed on launch day of the new fortinte gamemode.
I've gotten everything including getting all the vehicles and characters in this game and the game gave me the achievement for 100% but not one for the Free runs. I'm stumped as to what to do next.
For the past couple months I've been replaying LOTR on PC, because I do think the design is incredible, the open world is great, and I had a blast 100%-ing it back on 360 many years ago.
Quest/story/world wise - it was still great. BUT holy f- the PC version is glitchy as can be. The movement got frustrating at times, levels would bug out, swapping characters was weird, and I just had to use 2 codes from TT to get to 100% (from 99%) because my treasure items glitched and I couldn't get my remaining Mithril. I still had fun overall, but man it definitely hindered the experience.
Has anyone play the Hobbit on PC and can report if it's worse, similar or (hopefully) better?
Hi all,
I'm planning to get the Lego Harry Potter series of games to complete on the Xbox Series X. I've never played these particular Lego games before.
The Collection is available for cheaper second hand where I live compared, to buying two original Xbox 360 copies and running them backwards-compatible.
I see a lot of negative comments on how the Collection is a waste of time and money, but is it still worth getting for someone who has never owned and played the games before?
Thanks!
I put Harry Potter and Clone Wars as the two specific options because those are the ones about which I am most enthusiastic. I have already completed: Lego Batman: The Videogame (Lego Batman 1); Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes; and Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. I found Batman 1 and The Complete Saga much more fun to complete than Lego Batman 2 if that helps.
