Quote of the week :
All design work seems to have three common traits: there is a message to the work, the tone of that message, and the format that the work takes. Successful design has all three elements working in co-dependence to achieve a whole greater than the sum of the individual parts

My small team and I are building an app called Edvancium, and we’re trying to make it a truly personalized learning tool. We’re currently in development, and one thing we really want is feedback from design learners.
Our mission is to make learning truly personalized to your interests, background, and goals. Right now, we’re focused on testing how our app can best support a variety of topics, including design, to see what’s most helpful for users.
If this sounds like something you’d like to explore, Edvancium is live on both the App Store and Google Play.
Thank you so much – we really value your input and look forward to making Edvancium something special together!
I've been trying to learn design via copywork, starting by copying the Coinbase homepage in Figma.
For folks who have done this before, what's the right level of detail to start with? Am I trying to get the exact same pixel size, margins, colors, etc, or is this more of a "sketch"?
I tend to be overly perfectionistic, so I could easily spend 10 hours digging into the HTML for the exact measurements and replicating things exactly, but idk if that's missing the point.
Hey I just wanted to know how can I use design to earn money using upwork as my platform. Like what skills do I need and in what domain should I start working to earn money. I'm a college student and I really need to earn money, I'm interested in design but I don't know where to start. Please guide me.
As someone who’s spent a lot of time editing videos, I’ve seen how tough it can be for creative professionals to find the right computer for their work—whether it’s for video editing, graphic design, or other demanding software like Photoshop or Illustrator. That’s why I built compoffer.com, a web app that helps professional creatives find computers that meet the specs they need for their software. You choose the programs you use, and it pulls real-time offers from vendors like Amazon, Walmart, and others. I’d love feedback from this community—do you think this would help make choosing a computer easier for creatives?
