I'm looking to purchase a catsuit from Simon O (in specific the Latex Overall with Push Up Effect). I had a couple of questions:

1. Are women's suits constructed differently than men's? That is, are they the same thing with different proportions, or is the actual pattern different? The reason I ask is that I'm hoping to appear more feminine in my suit, but the men's size fits better. I'm consistently a men's small, but I range from small to XL are the women's measurements. If the women's size is going to help me present more fem, I would like that, but otherwise I'll just go for the one that is a better fit on paper.

2. If I go for the women's what measurements should I pay the most attention to? I'm a small on butt and thighs, medium on chest circumference and upper arm, large on lower breast and XL on waist (although, I think that's the holiday eating inflating my size). What would ya'll recommend to get? I'm thinking a large?

Just wondering for when you wear latex can you pre apply the talcum powder on the inside in advance or does it have to be applied just before wearing?

I would like to surprise my girlfriend with a latex hood and thong. She is attracted to latex, but never bought anything. 1)What do you think are the best entry level choices? Something that it isn’t too cheap, but not expensive too 2)How to choose the right size?

I’ve been wondering why latex clothing is often categorized as something overly naughty or taboo. It seems to be viewed more as a fetish material rather than a viable option for everyday fashion. Why is that the case?

Latex is sleek, shiny, and form-fitting, which makes it visually striking, but I feel like it’s unfairly confined to the pornographic and fetish world. Why can’t it be normalized for public wear, like leather or other bold fashion choices? There’s a stigma around wearing latex in public, and I’m curious about why society views it as inappropriate.

Is it because of its origins or the way it’s been marketed in the media? Or does it simply draw too much attention for people to feel comfortable with it? I’d love to hear opinions and insights from others who enjoy latex and think it could be a more mainstream option.

I know this is just a silly post but I was curious, does anyone else put blankets and sheets in a latex closet ? I do that just to get the smell when I'm sleeping, totally therapeutic 🥺

I have some issues with 2 pieces from Glanzig. I bought a pair of leggings & a catsuit from them a while ago and in the beginning it was all good and dandy but after a while the glue in the crotch seam just gave up and completely split right where the glue was supposed to be. I noticed that the same had happened to my catsuit that I also bought from them at the end of the zipper where it meets the other material. I have some catsuits from Latex Catfish from previously that have torn in the middle of garments but never in the seams. It seems like Glanzig is using poor quality glue or not enough to hold it together. Has someone else in this community experiencing similar things? I have considered going to Bright&Shiny instead, people who have bought from both sources, do you think B&S is better than Glanzig or Latex Catfish? All I buy is M2M if thats of relevance.

So I've never had a latex hood with hair. The latex i have owned i would just store inside a zip lock bag with talcum powder. I don't want to mess up the hair. How should I store a hood with pigtail ponytails?

Bit of a weird one but any recommendations on the best place to get correctly fitting gloves? I have small fingers but a large wrist and i cant get gloves to fit right. I have a XL pair from regulation, the wrist is fine but the fingers are waaay to long and a L pair from some random amazon seller and they are a bit too small on the wrist and long on the fingers...any suggestions?

Also most gloves i see are .4/.5mm latex, know anywhere that sells .25 or maybe thinner if that helps?

So I’m starting my journey into creating my own latex things. My biggest question that I find myself asking, what glue do you use on latex?

When I search online I run across mainly two different types, one water based, one solvent based. Most of these are sold overseas, with the only ones I’ve seen being able to be imported here in the US are the water based ones.

For example, I was looking at using a kit like this from radical rubber https://radicalrubber.co.uk/collections/starter-kits/products/copy-of-starter-mail-kit-radrub

It contains the water based glue. What does everyone use and what do you recommend. And those of you here in the US, what do you use in place of solvent based glues?

*Sub question- what is the point in solvent based glues?

I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to BeGloss/Vivishine products, and I got interested in the Optimal Products silicone oil as it's way less expensive and available in big bottles.

There is no doubt this silicone oil called RealShine is ideal as a dressing aid.
But i'm also looking for a shiner i can use in spray. I see they are selling regular Silicone Oil in optimal viscosity (20cSt), but i'm not sure it's safe for latex garments and for the skin ?

I also want to know if this product can work and be safe to be used during a wash, to be mixed with water in order to shine the latex ? If it is, can I use the same viscosity or do I need to get a second bottle with a different viscosity and which one ?

I'm browsing for options from EU sellers (at most Libidex since I don't think they'll stop shipping to EU) I'm looking for a catsuit for my boyfriend that appears full coverage but has access to the breast area. The issue is there are always zips to uncover that part and that would be uncomfy and straight up put too much risk on the catsuit for my intended usage. Small context for my questions: My wife has intense sensory issued which makes it so putting anything on her hands that is oily or sticky at best extremley unpleasant and at worst panic attack inducing. Hi all! My partner and I decided to bite the bullet and purchased our first garments from Libidex during during the Black Friday sale, and we’re looking for some advice on care upon arrival.

I bought my first suit from LatexEpicentre on Ebay, and when it arrived I immediately washed it using ViviClean, shined it with ViviShine, waited until it was completely dry (inside and out!), and used the Vivishine dressing aid to slip into it for the first time. The suit then completely tore across multiple seams :((( . I had even ordered a size that was slightly larger than what I needed based on the sizing charts, so I know that wasn’t the issue. I know that ordering from Ebay and other sites like that is a risk, and their customer service was excellent and provided me a full refund, but I would really prefer to avoid having that happen again!

Obviously we want to jump into our items as quickly as possible once we receive them, but should we wait for any amount of time before washing and shining them, and eventually putting them on? I ordered a full catsuit in the 0.5mm thickness and my partner ordered a singlet that came in 0.4mm standard. Any and all advice is appreciated, especially from anyone with experience ordering and wearing Libidex garments!

Hi! Does anyone know of anyplace that chlorinates latex here in the USA? I have a project that I’m working on and I want it to be chlorinated.

I know technically you can do it yourself, however I would much rather a professional do it.

Essentially I’m making a big latex blanket. It will be two pieces of 1.05 mm latex glued together to form one piece. It will be a little over 2 meters long and 1 meter wide. I want it to be chlorinated on both sides.

I was wondering if anybody could recommend good (ideally the best) vendors for latex straitjackets and/or sleepsacks. Really looking at making a big kinky purchase in the near future but want to make sure I'm getting good quality.

So I have only had steel inside my anal sheath, but now I am considering buying a squishy platinum-cure silicone plug to try instead. But after some googling, it looks like I can't even use silicone oil to lube up toys that are made of silicone, because the toy will get... sticky?

So how is anyone supposed to get a rubbery toy inside their sheath then? I feel like I am missing out on something obvious here...
