Hi, so essentially I’m looking for a female lead song that sounds and is, about themes almost EXACTLY like Gekkou Survive about rising up. but with the only caveat of a slightly different energy genre/instrumental wise (not a music guy)
one with a similar chaotic, grungy blood pumping, sorta somber metal, punk rock orchestra but still a lot of rock with a sick baseline and such.
I keep trying to find the specific genre of these songs but so far it’s been crickets
Examples of what I mean are songs like
Welcome to chaos by know name
Pretty much any of the linked horizon attack on titan themes
And aseed ZAQ

Hello everyone! For the last few years Ive been making a playlist with new releases from heavy bands out of Japan. Here's this years, enjoy!

I loved both of those bands so much, for heavy, but melodic guitars, amazing calm and mesmerizing voices of vocalists that are sometimes well within operatric range, and, in case of Alieson - atmosphere of soothing sadness, and with Rokugen - same, but also variety of styles that they tried.
First, Alieson disappeared without a trace or any information. Now same happens to Rokugen Alice - they used to release few albums per year, and now they are completly silent for several years already. I do not know if they will ever return. And i am unable to find any replacement... maybe it does not exist, for how much unique bands were. But maybe someone else knows something simillar?
If you need examples of what i want to hear, then:

I don't know how many of you like this kind of classic Heavy Metal, but I'd like to recommend Wolf to those who like Japanese bands like Loudness, Anthem, Blizard, Saber Tiger and Concerto Moon.
Wolf are less-known even here in Japan, but I feel they are criminally underrated. So I hope you like this band!
Feel free to comment :)
Sorry it took a day or two longer than I had originally promised, but here is a majority summary and a link to the full results collected for my Kawaii Metal demographics survey. Once again, I am so incredibly grateful for everyone who participated or interacted in any way with my research! I hope you all have a lovely day!
Hello! I am a university student working on a project about what kinds of people listen to Kawaii Metal. Linked is a survey about both personal demographics and questions about your interaction with the genre. Even if you decide to not fill out every single question, I would appreciate any engagement on this survey. Please share with others and encourage them to fill it out as well! Thank you so much!
Hey guys, been a while since I wrote anything, but just finished up an article about some of Japan's earliest all-female metal bands. It was mainly just a little new year's feature for Japanese Metal Forum, but figured some folks here might like to read about a few of the bands as well.

He's one of my favorite Japanese musician out there, he's mostly known for covering anime openings, endings and such. I've been a huge fan of his albums, Eizo Japan 1 and 2. Speaking of which, does anyone have mp3 files for the separate songs off those albums? Either that or can dump the two albums on youtube?
