I recently took my Jeep (2019 Renegade Latitude) to get the tires rotated and aligned and was told they couldn't do it because of the lug nuts and they didn't have the tool. I had taken it previously to a Jeep dealership over a year ago and was told it took them 45 mins to get one lug nut off. Is this a Jeep issue or has someone maybe stripped the lug nuts?

I have a 2023 Jeep Renegade, recently ran out of free oil changes, and I've had 5 different oil change places refuse to take my car, with Walmart taking it in for 90 minutes before deciding that they didn't have the oil or filter to do the work. Dealerships charge too much, I know all Renegade owners aren't paying those scam prices, so where are people getting their oil changes?

I have a 2016 jeep renegade and I installed an aftermarket android/carplay stereo but I can’t figure out the backup camera and it’s making my odometer blink, anybody know how to connect my factory camera so I don’t have to run the new one?!?!

I recently replaced the car battery for my 2015 Jeep Renegade. Recently, every time I have started the car, the car does not attempt to start the engine after pushing the start PB (Only the interior devices/screens come on). After the a second/third/fourth try, the engine finally comes on immediately without any battery cranking struggles.

Anyone here know why this is? Battery health/voltage is fine, and the immediate engine start after multiple tries supports that. Why is my car no longer starting after the first push?

2018 Latitude. Using remote start on cold days after a couple of minutes running open the driver's door to put things on and the vehicle shuts off. Is it just mine, is there a setting that needs to change.

ANy help would be nice since its starting to get cold up here

My 2022 Renegade is having problems to start and im sure its the battery which came with the car.

The dealer suggested me a Bosch S575D one but they are asking for twice the price for it, including “testing and everything related”. I found a store that sells batteries but they are offering this ones:

Are those batteries ok for the renegade? Which is better?

Has anybody ever gotten a check engine light for the active grill shuttering system? Mine is on and the shutters aren't opening.

The vehicle is locked (and effectively alarm armed), but when I go to open the back hatch up, the alarm triggers, and the only thing I can do to turn it off is to go to one of the sensor door handles (either front driver or passenger doors) and open the door. Remote does not turn it off. I have tested to make sure that the back hatch is actually locked by having the key fob on the other side of the house, where the system cannot detect it, and I cannot open the hatch, but when I bring the key fob into range, I can open the back hatch via the button in the hatch handle.

Am I doing something wrong, or is something messed up somewhere? Also, it doesn’t see the hatch as open when it isn’t (so I don’t think it’s a sensor malfunction).

2023 Jeep Renegade Altitude

Has anyone had to get a new valve stem put on your tires? I did and of course, it had to be the expensive one! It was over a $100 bill! Was just expecting like a $30 replacement.

Owner of a 2018 jeep renegade here. My driver door doesn’t hold its weight when opened thus closing shut or by manual closure. Im not sure which part to look for, I’ve come empty handed with my research.

Can I just plug in an USB-stick with MP3's or do I need some kind of app on my phone (Android) to play music via USB? I have no idea, this is my first "modern" car... Thanks for any advice.

I own a 2023 latitude with wireless charger, and whenever I use it, it barely charges my phone;I’ve got an iPhone; it works for like 2 min and then shuts off..anyone has got the same issue? And got a solution.. don’t think is my phone I’ve tried with androids as well

We’re looking at Renegades for my daughter’s first vehicle. Likely around 2015 or so. We found one that seems decent. It has the 2.4L Natural Aspiration, and I heard that the Tigershark has some known issues. Just curious if anyone has anything else you’d recommend we watch for?

The rubber gaskets on my roof rails have separated from the roof is there any way to replace these? Anyone know of a source for new seals?

I have a 2016 Jeep Renegade 75th anniversary edition and I am having a major problem.

The transmission was always a little screwy. I have owned the car since 26k miles and now it has 68K. I have taken it in regularly for maintenance since I've owned it.

Occasionally while driving it I would notice that the acceleration or gear changes have a slight hesitation or slight jolt to it. Nothing major and it happens occasionally. Going downhill, it sometimes feel like the transmission is stalled and the engine just revs really high. I would slowly hit the breaks and come to almost a complete stop, which seems to allow the transmission to catch up with the engine.

Recently, my battery was giving me issues. A few months ago I tried to start the car and it did not crank. I got all these warning signs on the dash. I called AAA and they jump started me. They even tested the alternator and said it was fine and charging the battery.

A few weeks ago I was parked and the battery was dead when I tried to start it. I called AAA again and they gave me a jump start. I noticed the battery would not hold a charge anymore. It would drop down to 10.8v. I would be able to start the car but it took a few tries. Once started the battery would charge up to 14v.

I know I need to change the battery so I have a brand new one right now. But something scary happened two days ago. I was driving the car and later I parked. I started it and when I put it in reverse, the car jolted really hard. It was a very rough shake along with a loud metallic sound. Then when I put it in drive, the same occured.

At this point I got warning signals on the dash such as the service engine and service transmission warnings. The D for drive was also blinking. I drove it home which was a short drive away. I pulled into my parking spot and put it into park and the same hard jolt and metallic noise. The car has been sitting there for a few days now.

One thing I noticed when I parked it and shut it down is the lights remained on even when I turned them off. So I started the car and turned it off. The lights when off and the service transmission was gone but the service engine was still there.

I know I need to change the battery ASAP and I plan to do that in the next few days (need to gather all the tools). Is there any explanation on what is going on with this really hard jolting occurring when I change gears?

I've read that it can be related to voltage from the bad battery, low transmission fluid, to damaged motor/transmission mounts.

Anyone else experience this or know what the issue is? I am too afraid to drive it. After the battery change I am going to have AAA tow it to a mechanic and have them work on it.
