Anyone else experiencing a sense of dreadful fear of missing out on undiscovered artists from time to time? I get these nights where I feel as though so much amazing music is passing me by, having not listened to so many artists yet. And also it’s not helping that a lot of IDM artists are rather niche and sometimes have a confusing discography lol.
down to earth
I hope you enjoy the vibe
Hey IDM community,
I just released my album Seven Sisters, which blends experimental textures with more accessible, energetic structures. It’s got that glitchy, atmospheric vibe, but with a rhythmic and melodic flow that’s a bit more direct. While it’s not fully IDM, I’ve definitely been influenced by the genre’s intricate sound design and shifting, evolving rhythms.
I’m curious—can you spot any IDM influence in Seven Sisters? Are there moments in the sound design, the rhythms, or the overall feel that remind you of the artists you love in the genre?

Would love to hear your thoughts on where you hear the connections, or even if you think it goes in a completely different direction. Thanks for taking the time to check it out, and I’m looking forward to any feedback or recommendations!
