anyone got simple tricks to share? like a quick glitch jolt through the whole mix, anything that can be done with built in plug ins? I really do not like using Distortion plug ins, too sensitive to tinker with. Something that will like fragment the entire mix for a moment then bring it back together, maybe a multi band compressor with long release on the whole mix for just a moment? brainstorming thread

Here’s a live jam on the modular synth I think has its place in this community. Starts ethereal with melodic fm sounds drenched in verb and delay and beat and granular stuff kicks in around 1’ Hope you enjoy 😊
So something I do often is create songs in my head, and something I've got at the moment is a fast paced IDM breakbeat thing that centres around a sample from a 70 sounding soul song. Is there stuff like this out there? If so, please let me know.
I hope you enjoy Best regards https://on.soundcloud.com/ScJcdXRdUug4i9yt5
i really liked the great god pan synth, and generally the texture of his music, is there any info of what he could have possibly used?

The stuff I'm recommended on here isn't danceable and the songs lack narrative. They have no direction, the sounds might be innovative or different but not necessarily pleasant. What Jackson &HCB did with his music, as well as where French Electronic ended up going over the last couple decades is a more practical representation of this genre. On an innovative level for the sake of it I understand the appeal but from a straightforward musical perspective I do not. The techniques created through this genre are great for amplifying dance music but as a standalone, I don't understand.
Leaving you this here, hope you like it 👽
Hello folks. I’m setting up a little DIY label to put out small run physical releases. I’m taking submissions now, looking for artists that fit this sub. I have already approached a couple from here, but opening it up for more.
