Hi! We’re planning to create a student org but we’re stuck with org names. For context we’re from a university in the Philippines.

We’re looking into creative and catchy names but not too creative where people will still take us seriously.

There’s 6 of us, 5 girls & 1 guy. One teammate owns & tattoos at the shop next to the bar. All of us either work or get tattooed at the same shop. So we are gonna wear tshirts with the logo but I didn’t want to also name the team after the parlor. But maybe to help with ideas it’s called “The Reverie”. Want something kind of playful but would doesn’t have to be. Really want tattoo related ideas that don’t sound cheesy.

Got a one shot TTRPG session I'm working on and one of the main locations is a rose plantation overseen by a robot with human slaves.

I'm not opposed to alliteration, but I'm trying to avoid the obvious like Rose Ranch.

I'm creating an interactive online educational project that visualizes what a farm would look like that produces an average U.S. consumption of food.

For example, the most recent data show that the average U.S. consumed 86.81 lb of tomatoes (whether fresh or preserved). And elsewhere, I've found that an average tomato plant produces between 12 - 20 lb per plant. So at around the low estimate of 12lb per plant, it would take around 7 plants to provide for the average U.S. person. I'm then illustrating those plants as they would look growing on a farm throughout their growth stages.

I'm continuing this out for all of the other data I'm able to find for around 100 other produce commodities. I need to do a little finagling to present them all together, since some crops would need different climates than others, but I'm still trying to keep it as realistic as reasonable. I'd also like to eventually address things like fruit trees and livestock where one unit (an apple tree or cow) provides for more than one person on average.

My working title is just "The Per Capita Farm" which doesn't really have much of a ring to it. The audience would be an informal educational resource to start out at this farm level, then learn more about the individual produce items at different levels.

this is for a character im working on and i wanted to go with kelsey/kel for short, but i found out thats an omori character and since the name isnt too common i didnt want to have it be related to that. but if anybody knows of some names that have similar vibes to this that would be great (doesnt have to be tho)

Opening up a coffee shop with my SO and we're stuck on naming a breakfast sandwich. SO wants it to be something clever as he has a few already named with some play on words. This is what's in the sandwich: "Fried Egg, Choice of Meat, Hash Brown Patty, Cheddar on a brioche bun"

Trying to find a business name for my Web development, Web design, hosting company. I would prefer something unique that I can trademark. However, I also wanted it to be easy to spell and remember and find online when people refer my business via word-of-mouth.

The feel for the brand and the company should be small boutique services. Quality over quantity. Best in class services for small businesses and people. We design it build it and host it. I’d like something modern and sexy that’s not necessarily pretentious. I have a pretty large sense of humor.

I am based on Iraq, so something incorporating our history (Gilgamesh, Mesopotamian, Akkadian, Sumerian, Babylonian) would be better

We recently purchased a small farm and need a name for it. The plot of land is 40 acres. Right now we have chickens goats and mini donkeys. The pastures are covered in clover and there is a stream that runs through the middle of the property. The access road leading up to the farm is a red dirt road (which is muddy more often than not). Goats are from good dairy lines so will probably end up going that route.

Hey everyone! So we are starting/have started a very small homestead (we own less than 1.5 acres). We have a rabbit, 17 chickens, and we are doing a garden but that will be at my parents because they have better soil. I am doing some potted plants here, but most of our gardening will be at their house. I am also taking up bread/sourdough making. Our last name is Barber, and I eventually would like to sell some stuff from our tiny place when we get it going more. Someone help me come up with a name for our little homestead adventure.

Basically, I've got quite a group of people that I'm with at my university, and to put it simply, we've started off as a club and named it gamedevclub (just for the university)

However, we want our own name, since we will be actually making games and posting them online and gamedevclub is a bit silly. Anyone got any ideas? We wanna try basing it around our logo, but at the same time, we might just change it if the name fits.

The logo is basically a G in the form of a maze (kinda cliche, cause its around the word Game so we took the G). We dont know why Matrix just feels right for us, but at the same time, its still not something we want. Anyone got any ideas? We'll choose whatever seems interesting

My friends, in-laws, and family have been telling me I should sell my stuff for the past 5-8 years and I feel like I'm finally at a place where I'd be comfortable doing so. I make just about anything from blankets, loveys, stuffies/amigurumi, bags, decor, etc. the only thing I haven't dabbled in yet is clothing.

I'm from Minnesota so I was thinking something with "Minne" (Minny, Minnie, etc) in it or if the word had an "MN" in it like but not at a place where I "need" that in the name. I also thought if the name had an animal in it, it would be fun to use the word treble and my logo could be the animal with tattooed sleeves or something a bit more edgy. Two totally separate ideas I had but I guess they don't have to be if someone feels like they have an idea to incorporate both.

I’ve been making custom cakes (weddings, birthdays, baby showers, etc) for over a decade. I’ve scaled back for the past few years and just baked for close family and friends but have decided to jump back in again and really make it a cottage bakery business.

Before the break, I had a name I was toying with, but never 100% loved it.

A few things to know: • I live on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. I’m from here, but not ethnically native Hawaiian, so I don’t want to use a name that gives the impression it’s Hawaiian-owned.
• I am open to some Hawaii theme/reference, as long as it’s not too cheesy.
• I’m hoping to do farmer’s markets and other events in addition to custom cake orders, so I’d like something recognizable that can be used for signage.

Me and a friend of mine have recently had the idea of forming a band, we've been having some trouble coming up with name idea so we thought we'd ask here. We did think of the name "Totally Related" to kinda play off of a joke that we are basically siblings, but we still wanna play around with some ideas. We are currently doing covers but are trying out some original music but I'd say the music genre(s) we gravitate to the most are Indie, Folk, Punk, and Alternative Rock (were pretty much up for everything though).

If you have any tips on how to come up with band names ideas in general or have some names in mind to share that would be so helpful!!!
