Hello, Ive got an older model 3dsxl I cannot seem to figure out why this happens, it only started recently when I was playing one of my games. The 3ds seemingly crashed out of nowhere and now I keep getting white and black lines when it happens and sometimes the bottom screen will have it on certain games (ex: pokemon ultra moon, the bottom screen will have the white and black lines until I press x to go into the game/save menu) whenever a game crashes it will usually delete saved data with it (ex: pokemon unbound, I will save several times over the course of several minutes and when the crash happens it will delete all that save data back to a certain point regardless of the several saves) The attatched images shows the wierd screen glitch while playing pokemon ultra moon, and the last image is while I was playing Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time when it just crashed out of nowhere.
I have tried to uninstall/reinstall Twighlight menu++ at the suggestion of one of thier mods in their discord server. The NDS games seem to be the most unstable when it comes to the crashing issue. I have checked my SD card for any signs of corruption or signs it may be dying and it always comes back healthy, It is a brand new SD card that is approximately a month old, I have reformatted the SD card using a program called "SD Card Formatter" and it still persists. (32gb sandisk microsd with adapter)
Any help would be greatly appreciated
I'm having trouble jailbreaking my Wii U using the Wii U Hacks Guide. I've installed Aroma, but my Pretendo network doesn't seem to be working, and I'm unsure how to load games from my SD card.
Everyone here probably knows about RiiConnect24. The way to revive old channels for the Wii, and everyone probably knows about WiiLink24. The way to use regional channels outside of the intended region. However, since 2023, WiiLink24 started doing the exact same thing as what RiiConnect24 did.
So now I have no idea what one to use, and what one is better. I'm currently using WiiLink24 because it allows usage of the Wii Message Board.
If I home brew my DSi or 3DS, is it possible to alter the code of pokemon games like Action Replays or GameSharks can? I pretty much only want to cheat in the event pokemon in generations four and five.
so i bought a japanese new nintendo 3ds xl with a game both are japanese but i wanna mod it to atleast make the 3ds readable and to add this mega banette theme which i found cool so i wanna know what will i need to get before it comes here so i can mod it when i get it
I'm looking for a website to download ds games so I can put them on 3ds if anybody can help me.
Okay so I'm updating my GBI memory card and wanted to know the difference between the files
in the gbi folder it has multiple files such as the orginal GBI.GCI and it also has gbi-direct-hdmi.GCI
I was wanting to know what is the difference between them and how they function differently. I currently have a gameboy player memory card that just has the standard GCI save yet it boots up when using the digital output cables as well.
So what's the difference? I tried to look on the www.gc-forever.com/wiki but couldn't find anything explaining what that exact version does
If you are unable to install the WiiLink24 Patcher application, you can download all the files for it from the MediaFire link below. I know that it's annoying having to download each file manually without having the Pro Plan, but I can't upload on any other "File Sharing" platform.
Installation Guide:
(This is perfectly legal, and is NOT Piracy of official Nintendo software. These channels are remakes developed by the WiiLink24 team using publicly known knowledge and information on the channels.)
am I still able to mod a 2ds once it's updatesd to 11.17.? or am just just screwed, if not are there any good walk throughs?
So i followed the tutorial, and when i i try to open this .bat file to do the things it just open a cmd window for like half a second and it closes, i don't know why and i don't know what to do, any help?
I am wondering how to dump my wii u game saves into a .wii format so i can use it in Universal Minecraft Editor and Save Mii doesn't save them into a .wii format
It's considered piracy? And if yes, is it legal?
I've been looking into modding my 2ds that I've had since I was a kid but I'm worried about losing everything. I have old childhood photos and other memories on it and would really rather not lose them all, is that possible?
I wanna mod a 3ds and i wanna ask what are the essential apps for you on your modded 3ds and tell me what they are about and i'll tell you if i'll get it or not
All of my virtual console games on my Wii U only work with the gamepad. Whenever I try to connect a Wii remote, classic/pro controller, ps3 it either turns off and doesn’t connect or just lights up every square on the remote. Can someone help me with this? Thanks!
Throughout my time of having a modded switch and 3DS, I’ve ran into issues where I’d ask here for help and nothing has ever come out of it. Not a single reply or anything idk what the fuck the point of this sub is at this point
So, I homebrewed my wii some time ago with a 8gb usb stick but i got a 128gb stick now and was wondering if i needed to somehow revert to stock before changing the stick with all the apps and homebrew on it or i just reinstall everything onto the new stick, ...etc. Could someone help me out with the process or redirect me to a yt vid or smth , thxxx🙏🙏🙏
I'm looking to, for lack of a better word, commission somebody to make a simple Wii Party mod for me. I say simple because I imagine the few changes I want to make would be easy to implement & wouldn't take too much time. If this isn't the right place to ask, then I honestly don't know where to go, so if someone could help & point me towards the proper direction, I would be extremely grateful.
Thinking of buying a second 3ds to play games together. Does the local play that the 3ds use work for homebrew games?
My New 3DS XL ll just arrived. I followed the instructions and installed homebrew. My only issue is that I still have no idea of how to change the language to English. Can anyone help? Ty!
Highly appreciated, since Archive.org is currently down
I’ve got a switch that’s banned and another that isn’t. If I transfer my Pokémon save from my banned one over to my non-banned one, is there a chance that I could get banned again?
Looking to get a console to play various generations of Pokemon - LeafGreen (GBA), HeartGold/SoulSilver (DS), Gen III (Ruby/Sapphire) (GBA), so on so forth. A 3DS seems like the best option for me considering it can play up to Seventh Gen Pokemon games.
I know the 3DS can play GBA games natively, and that it can play DS games, but I'd rather emulation so I can make use of the incredibly useful speed cheats.
I was considering mGBA, as I use that on my PC currently, but it only works on New 3DS which is $300 AUD. A 3DS LL XL is about $100 cheaper, much more acceptable.
Also, while I'm here, how do I get my Pokemon from LeafGreen to newer games when I decide to move on to HeartGold/SoulSilver?
Thanks.
