Hey there as the title states I’m new to hog hunting and need some tips on what to bring or where to my first hunt, I have a ar chambered in 6.8 spc and I know a good shot placement is around the front shoulder area any advice would help though, thank you for your time
Hello fellow hunters.I am new to the hog hunting world, hunting in general. I live in an area where baiting for hogs is legal(I live in texas). I was wondering what works for yall when it comes to baiting for hogs, or if you live in an area where baiting is illegal, what methods have yall used to help locate and find wild hogs. I own one feeder that shoots corn out once a day if that helps. Thank you so much and hope to be hooked for years to come.
What are some recommendations for hunting outfitters for Hogs in the states of South Carolina and Georgia? Woods and Water Service in Wrightsville GA has been mentioned to me, but I wanted to check others. Preferably ones with no Trophy fees too. I plan on hunting the week of 4th of July next year for 5 days. Bonus points if you can recommend me one in Texas, just for giggles. Thanks!
I’ve been trying my ass off to find a good place to hunt hogs - I live in north Texas - around Celina or Prosper. Thing is I don’t want to pay to go on a guided hunt when I know there’s people on farms who need them gone. Anyone know where I can go or anyone with a hog problem that needs solving? Much thanks
Looking into a hog trip somewhere in TX this fall ive got ar’s in all calibers... and a 458 in the works. What do you guys recommend?
Anyone have any suggestions for spots in Georgia? Preferably not private land, but any suggestions at all are welcomed! Thanks!
Was wondering if calling hogs work, and if so what is the best equipment.
I am planning my first boar hunt for next spring. Is there a particular load that has impressed you experienced hog killers?
Hey guys me and a couple buddies are headed down to Austin texas to visit. We are going to go boar hunting for two days and staying for five days total. What areas are good for boar hunting. We do not want a guided hunt. So we are looking at public property or approved farmers land. What would you guys suggest?
