My parents wedding photo

Is it possible to make this a bit sharper? Mom passed away this year, dad 2 years ago and I would love a clean copy to give to my kids for Christmas

Family long gone. Will tip $10.

Left to right, Uncle Kenneth, Uncle Raymond, Aunt Louise Margret (died at age three in 1931, shortly after this photo was taken), Grandpa Eric, and my mother Doris. I wish I had the original for you. This is scanned as a png, is that better than a jpeg? I'm sure the original was B&W, then colorized.

I hope somebody can do something with this.

Thanks.

My son played a game for the Leeds United academy at their training ground, we'd love to print and frame it as a Christmas gift for him, but due to the floodlights the photo is blurred / grainy - could anyone help sharpen it up? Will happily pay, thank you in advance!

Need restoration and color if possible

My Granny is 90 and I’d like to see if this picture of her brother that was killed not long after this photo could be cleaned up (the left upper and lower part) and colorized. Thanks in advance.

This is a picture I took on vacation and I want to expand and frame it. Is there any way to make the resolution better so it's not blurry when I enlarge it? Also if the bottom right corner can be brighter that would be great as well. Thanks in advance :)

Restoration Request for Grandparents Photograph

My family from Mexico are interested in restoring this photograph of my grandparents. It’s aged and faded quite a bit.

If possible, a restoration of any kind would be much appreciated(:

*please note that my grandfather has this crop already on the original photo

Is there any way to fix this photo?

Hello! (Thank you to r/PhotoshopRequest for redirecting me here!)

I just got my first film role developed (ever!), and for some reason this picture of me and my friends came out like this :( it’s the only one of the 5 of us being together in the last few years, so a bit of a bummer!

Can any photoshop wizard take a crack at saving this? (Will absolutely tip!) or feel free to just tell me if this is a lost cause 😂 thank you!!

Need enhancement

This pic has faded over time and requires a small repair. I have already paid $15 on Fiverr for a poor result (I offered $5 over asking). What I got was an overly saturated pic and the donkey looked like he has been cut out and pasted onto a background by a five year-old. : ( I literally had a better result myself on my iPhone. This should be an easy restore I would think. I am posting the original here, but can send the result that I do NOT want. Thank you!

Questions about photo restoration

Reason for asking:

  • Looking to get into photo restoration to preserve family history and possibly make it a side hobby.
  • Will mostly be restoring/archiving printed photos in albums/frames (30-60+ years old).

Question:

  • What is a good scanner to start with the best image quality (~$500ish budget) for printed images?
    • Worried about self-fed scanners, as they might catch/harm images that aren't perfectly flat or have adhesives. (no experience with this, just assuming)
  • What software to use? I'm assuming Photoshop/Lightroom? This is what I know from my photography hobby, but I am seeing if there are better tools specific to restoration.

Any help would be greatly appreciated before I start on this project.

My wife’s father passed away soon after this photo was taken. Any chance someone can restore this?

NSFW for the flag in the back. (Maybe make it different somehow?)
