Godaddy approached me asking to price my domain. How much?

I got an email from Godaddy's domain broker team. I checked the email header and it looks OK, so probably genuine. They say they are approaching me on behalf of a client asking for a ball park figure for my domain. This is a 6 letter dot com. Two letters, then one word. When I bought the domain, more than 10 years ago, I got it in an auction thinking the two letters followed by the word would be good for a certain industry. There is also a famous, totally unrelated, TV show that sounds like this domain.

I am actually using the domain only for email forwarding for my business. I could easily change to another domain. It would just mean re-printing some letter heads.

Can you help me evaluate a domain name's market value?

I have a domain name that I am trying to list on marketplace. And I'm thinking of buying the 90 day homepage feature on GoDaddy auctions.

But I'm really not sure how to price it while placing it on a 7 day bidding auction.

The domain name is Ashlyn.ai

Comparing it with other similar domains, I'm pretty sure this name has potential, but I need to know how much.

Best Web-Hosting and Website Builder Combo for Domain Sales Landing Pages?

Hello, I am looking to get landing pages set up for my domain names so I can take my whois info onto private as well as to appear serious when I contact people. They can go to the website and see that it is officially for sale and make everything appear legit. I think I've gotten ghosted because my domains just have blank landing pages. My names are on NameCheap but I set them to Sedo landing page for the discount as well as I assumed that they would have my listing on that page. Spoiler alert they don't, it's just three backlinks/adds. What is the best way to set up a professional looking landing page for these sites? I thought the easiest thing to do would be to build a website and host it and just simply create each domain it's own subpage that the domains land at. Then I can make a homepage with a "business name" that lists all of the domains available and a link to their main page. My main goal is to simplify things and have web hosting and a website builder on the same service to simplify things. I see all of these great deals on different sites for web hosting and website building but whenever I do research it's always that one of that sites services sucks and I couldn't do both. Does anyone have any good recommendations while preferably having a free trial offer and 5-12$ per month with cheaper being ideal. I wouldn't mind buying a year service either. I just want to build a very sleek/modern looking site and honestly some dynamics would rock. If I'm dropping multiple landing pages on the site, what sort of web hosting data amount would I need? What other parameters should I worry about? I see reseller and shared hosting but I think I'd be overpaying for something I don't need. I'm not handling other people's domains, just my own. Id upgrade in the future if needed but I believe I could just host one website with separate pages right? If anyone has any advice for what to look for or a good solution let me know. Couldn't find any videos or tutorials that weren't BS ads that showed how to make a Domain Selling Landing Pages website for someone who is just selling their own only. Id definitely consider brokering and building sites for other people but I also think that I probably would not start with hosting everything for them. I appreciate all of the help that you guys give! Feel free to DM me or reach out if you are trying to find someone to work with or learn together!

Which is the best website for registering a domain for resell purposes?

I made an account for domain.com, but I may delete it after seeing how hard it is to remove credit card information...

I just want to register a domain which I think will be valuable in a year or two.

Thanks in advance.

Tips to not get fleeced?

New to all this but it's been a riot looking at the possibilities.

So I believe I know the more reputable sites, I can see the renewal rate ahead of time. But how do I ensure that rate doesn't change? They all seem to be leases instead of outright purchases and even if purchased I'm sure there's a "registration" fee of some kind annually or it's released.

I'm kicking around some ideas but don't want to make a big mistake.

Is there a wiki? I'll look for that. Otherwise what are the golden rules to this?

Are there any Registrars a domain can be transferred to without any incoming transfer fees?

I know many of the registrars advertise a "free" additional renewal year upon paying the transfer fee. However, I'm simply looking for a registrar where I can transfer my domain for $0. at no cost whatsoever.

LOL! Maybe be a dream, but doesn't hurt to ask.

Thanks!

How to sell a .ing domain?

Hello,

I just bought a .ing domain on Godaddy. It's not letting me do this saying that:

Domain could not be listed due to domain restrictions. This feature not available for this TLD.

Anyone know the reason why? Do I just have to wait 60 fays since I cannot transfer a domain until I have owned it for 60 days?

TLD Tool tldboy.com

Hola Domainers,

Part of my workflow consists of TLD checking. Lots of TLDs regged for a key -> quality indicator.

Using the available tools, i was often pissed. Entering the TLDs i want to check over and over again, nerving waiting times, biased results….

So i built my own, checking A-Records via DoH.

Free to use, have phun + save your time.

Buying RealNames off of Hover?

Not sure if you know yet, so in the first paragraph I'm going to quickly describe what I'm on about:
Hover (Tucows) has over 40,000 domains registered under their "RealNames" service so you can get yourname@surname.com

I really wanted to buy my surname off of them, so I did some research and figured that probably no one was using their service under my surname. I reached out to them and got a polite response acknowledging my request but saying they weren't interested in selling any of their RealNames domains.

Do you think it's worth chasing up with them to see if it can go anywhere by highlighting how they're likely making a loss on that domain or should I just leave it and look for something else?

Best Way to Sell One Domain

My small company has a domain we want to sell, and we know it has some value, but all the domain marketplaces seem to want us to sign up as a domain broker and list hundreds of domains, while subscribing and paying fees for an extended period. We only want to sell one domain. Is there a safe, reliable, and affordable (free even?) outlet to sell a single domain without all the fuss and expense of the big domain resellers?

I know we could sell it through Reddit and the like, but that removes a level of safety from the equation.

Any great domaining tools?

What tools do you use to find domains?

For example, I need to find 8 letter .COM domains where the first 4 letters are "FORK" and the the next 4 letters are a different word. Is there such a tool that can show me all the available options?

Thanks!
