Title, but for more context: a friend of mine is going through a severe crisis and cannot keep his two male rats. He’s asked me to help him out, but I’m not sure what shelters would take rats. He also cannot keep them beyond today, and neither can I due to my cat being aggressive with small animals.

I’m willing to drive up to 30 minutes in any direction to make this happen. He doesn’t want to neglect his rats but he’s also in dire need of help in this regard.

My fiancé and I are from Phoenix and we’re moving to Denton this summer around the first of June. We’re starting our housing search and we are thinking we would like to rent a house. In order to plan out our budget I’m seeking advice on what the utilities situation is like in Denton these days. There are some old threads but they mostly reference pricing for apartments and some mention recent changes to pricing as well. I know each house will vary wildly on electric and gas due to things like insulation and location, but I’m just looking for some ballpark numbers that even get me close to what a total utility cost per month might be to stack on top of rent.
