This sub is a friendly community of people who are interested in reading about crimes/murders/suicides etc. and most things regarding death! All posts should have valid information and should all be true. Zero tolerance for dark humor, jokes, or puns. This isn't the place for that behavior.

RULES:

1. All posts require 2 or more images of a crime scene and information/context of the crime

All posts must consist of 2 or more images of a crime scene, accompanied by the backstory of the crime. The backstory may either be a comment added to the post after submission, or in the image descriptions themselves, and provide in-depth context for the crime. Length and quality count. Submissions that are only images will be removed.

2. No bad behavior or incivility

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Victim blaming

• Bullying

• Name calling

• Bigotry

• Racism

• Sexism

• Xenophobia

• Abusive, harassing, or threatening language of any kind

• Trolling

• No dehumanizing speech

• Jokes or otherwise making light of any crime/victim

• Genocide advocacy or denial

• Calls for frontier/mob/vigilante justice

• Glorifying violence against any person

• Non-constructive criticism

Violators subject to removal or ban.

3. No fictional stories

All posts must be accurate. No fiction posts, If someone asks for a valid source link you must provide one or your post will be removed with a warning.

4. No photos of nude underage victims

ZERO TOLERANCE for nude images of anyone under the age of 18. This is an instant and permanent ban.

5. No photos of dead animals

This sub is solely focused on human victims.

6. No reposts

Please be courteous to your fellow users and scan the last page or two of the sub and/or use the search box before submitting.

7. No recent events

Out of an abundance of caution and out of respect for victims and their families, if a crime is newer than ~30 days, it will mostly likely not be approved.

8. No discussion of suicide methods or otherwise endangering information

We have seen users inquire on how someone did or didn't succeed in ending their life in regards to posts about suicides or murder-suicides. Asking about ways to better harm yourself or someone else, even if hypothetical and disclaimed, are not allowed.

9. No blog, news, or video submissions

We're focused only on crime scene photos and the stories behind them.

10. No spam or self-promotion

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Spammy watermarks

• Using affiliate links

• Excessive or irrelevant crossposting

• Any action that provides greater benefit to you than to our users
