This song is not recent but the band published a new video prior to the upcoming election. They sing both in French or English, depending on the songs. This one has French lyrics but you can display English subtitles.

I've searched many times but never been able to find one.
I don't care which band it is... I just want celtic rock/punk.
I live in a city which never gets celtic punk bands visiting, and I would be happy to plan my holidays around any bands which play this.
Shameless self promotion here. Irish-American punk, but we're from the South so our other influences were bluegrass and old-time instead of rock and roll.
This is our new single. We wrote it and recorded it in Perth, Scotland, and we're excited to share it. Please let us know what you think!
On first listen it’s another banger
I don't listen to a ton of Celtic Punk but there are a handful of bands in the genre that I love. My favourite is Flatfoot 56, but also love the Rumjacks and all the classics (Dropkick, Flogging Molly, the Pogues, etc.)
I guess I was hoping someone would be able to recommend some newer or maybe lesser-known bands in the genre that feel more like authentic musicians using Celtic instruments / themes and less like a bunch of dudes who have just watched too much Peaky Blinders - y'know? I'm just a little tired of the slough of bands that are like
"We're the O'Flanagans and we have a guy in a KILT and we sing about ALCOHOL and FIGHTING haha get it?? aren't we original and fun??"
I can't really put my finger on why certain bands (like the ones I listed) feel more authentic to me, but if anyone else is vibing with what I'm saying I'd love some input or recommendations!
Not sure how punk we are, but we're somewhere heavier than most folk bands and less heavy than your Flogging Molly's.
Leeson O'Keefe was the frontman of the legendary London Celtic Punk band Neck. He recently passed away after a short battle with cancer. His band were internationally known and renowned, and here Leeson, in a recently discovered letter, gives us a history of NECK the band in his own inimitable way and with a chance to hear his inspirational music.
I often listen to the song bog songs by blaggards. I am aware that the track is composed of 2 songs, the last being the rare old Mountain Dew, but what is the first one.
Don’t know if this is the right place to ask, but I’m relatively new to the folk punk and Celtic punk, but I really enjoy the mix of shanties/marine-themed songs (as well Central/Eastern European, among the others, traditional motifs) with punk rock these guys are doing, and I’m curious to explore more music like this
Especially, it would be nice to get to know some bands which are vocally socially progressive/leftist (which is kinda obvious, because punk genre is supposed to be inherently such, but just in case), e.g. like Dropkick Murphy’s
My Hibernian-Ska-Punk band put out a new record on Friday, which you’ll like, if not fucking love, okay? Just try it, okay?

We are saddened beyond words to bring the news to you that Leeson O’Keefe of London-Irish Psycho-Ceildh rockers Neck passed away today after a short illness.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
