I got bicycle, tally_ho and aristocrat cards, soon il get some bee cards. Here is my problem, i cant figure out my preference. Tally ho feel super thin and light, bee is thick and heavy and bicycle feels like somewhere in between. Its making me annoyed that I cant make up my mind. I wanna go pro in both cardistry and magic(which is gonna take ages but screw it lez go) what cards do you prefer and what would you advice if your doing both magic and cardistry? Whats the best?
I want to ask which type of card is better? Plastic or paper and can you complete this move wirh paper cards? Thx
Hello all, this may sound like a weird question but I thought I would ask... Is there any good videos out there for tips and tricks when handling cards? In the past 3 months I've progressed a significant amount with cardistry and I'm always pushing myself to learn new flourishes and cuts. After watching a video numerous times and practicing I do get the moves down to a good motion, however when it comes to squaring the packets and keeping a good grip so cards don't slip / move in most grips I can't seem to get that down. I was just wondering if anyone had any pointers or would be willing to drop some links / videos for me to see. Any help is much appreciated and I look forward to seeing some tips / links if anyone can help me. Many thanks all.

Any tips for the reretrigger move? thanks :)
I love playing cards and picked up cardistry on the side. I've learnt a lot of moves ever since I started like the One-Handed Riffle and packet cuts like Squoze. After a while, I do feel a slight pressure to myself to learn the really advanced moves like Phaced and I can't seem to pull it off (stuck at the first part to do a 360 spin, cards always fall off since the packet looses grip on the finger when you spin).
Does anyone else also feel pressured somehow to not being able to do famous advanced moves? Do you just learn what you feel and know you can do? Are you the type of cardist whose okay with all the moves they learnt and not bother to learn anything else for a while?
(Maybe its just me.. Just putting my thoughts out there)
Super fun move of mine! Really enjoy the simplicity of this one compared to all my other material❤️
Definitely one of my proudest creations🙉
I’ve been doing Cardistry for a while and often get asked to perform magic tricks. I’m looking to learn an impromptu trick that’s neither too difficult nor too easy. I’d prefer it not to rely on math and should work from any angle, even with an audience around me. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm searching the name of the cardistry move in the video from Jeki Yoo. It's at second 49, and I would really appreciate it if somebody could help me out. Thanks in advance!

Ntb. Ending was a bit sloppy.
I was bored sitting in the car and thought "what if i rotated one packet and did a faro?" Which somehow worked, i can cascade and keep a faro but what is this and what can i do with it?
In collaboration with analog artist COLORSHIFT, Scope Playing Cards is an animated deck brought to life using an oscilloscope 🧪
An analog oscilloscope is an electronic test instrument used to visualize and analyze the waveform of electronic signals. The display is a cathode-ray tube (CRT) which uses an electron beam directed toward a phosphorescent screen, creating a visible trace with afterglow when it strikes the screen. Complex shapes can be displayed through X-Y mode, where two signals control both the horizontal and vertical axes directly.
To create the backs, we captured the electron beam tracing both our logo and a rectangular border on the scope. As the cards are riffled through, the beam gradually reveals our logo one letter at a time, while the border chases around the edges in a continuous loop.
When shuffled, a chaotic yet equally mesmerizing animation emerges. With nearly infinite possible arrangements, each shuffle generates a new sequence likely never seen before—and never to be seen again.

I've been doing cardistry for about a year and a half now and can get a decent handle on most beginner/intermediate moves, but I am NOWHERE on Angel -- even when I put Sortkwik on my thumb, that card has no interest whatsoever in sticking to it for even a millisecond. Any ideas? I really wanna get Phobos/Deimos someday, and if I can't get this down there's no chance.
Is it possible my thumb is just not an Angel-able thumb? I really haven't felt this hopeless since I first started out and felt like my hands were eight sizes too small to do a Charlier cut, so hopefully I'll get over this like I got over that -- I feel like I can't even practice this currently.
So the only shuffle I really know so far is the basic table shuffle (I think it’s called?) and I’m trying to learn a one handed shuffle, I’ve watched the tutorials on YouTube but every time I try my cards are so slick they just slide out all over the place. Is there something I need to do to the cards themselves or am I just getting the technique wrong?
Hello i need help with trigger specifically on how to rotate the packet i always have the problem that when i try to fit the packet behind the other the packet rotates outward and falls

Does anyone know a move where the cards"springs" out of your hand and into a "S" shape? It looks something like this.
Name - Goodsonfold.
im trying to learn the move KTCHING but the tutorial is just like "push with fingers, rotate the packets, and bake the rest of the fucking cake" and im getting frustrated.
I am stuck because everytime I move a packet, it bevels or splits and then i drop all 4 packets. the move looks cool and fun but the tutorial is absolutely terrible and i cant learn anything from it, do i push hard with my thumbs? do i move slowly? do i need to keep a loose grip? im just stuck and nothing works at all.
im curently trying to get the first part consistent, the packet i need to push with my right index is the problem, i can get the left one done right but not the right index, whenever i approach my left thumb for the rotation, either before or during the rotation the two cards on the outside edges stick up and the rest of the cards fall, or the packet bevels and the cards fall.
then in the second motion i try to rotate the deck but i consistently drop both the packets in my right hand, and if i dont, then on the third rotation i drop all the cards.
can anyone help with this information or do you need a video?
Deck is supposedly limited to 100. The store's quantity was set to 500 (added as many as I could to cart to verify). Commented on Welcome's post and they said they updated the quantity, which I verified using the same method. It's since been switched back to 500 which just verifies the sketchiness to me. gross
