I am in a hefty need of a PSU recommendation, preferably one that is available on MeGekko.
Also, is my current XFX a good variant of the 7900XT or should I opt to go for another variant? They are almost all identical in price besides the Nitro Plus.

I have at most $6500 to spend on a PC (without peripherals) for the tasks listed in the title. It is mostly going to be used for architecture designing and some math graphing. When I do game, I really only play some open world games. I plan on using the PC for 5+ years. I would prefer a white or black scheme with no RGB. Thanks in advance
I have never built a pc before or owned one before and i don’t know what any of this ram/rtx and stuff means but i want to get one for my brother as a gift and i heard building one is better then getting a prebuilt so does anyone have a build for gaming that can run most games it would help a lot
So my PC is getting slower, browsing local files can be atrociously slow, some apps freeze or crash occasionally, using Lightbook for photo editing is hopeless because its so slow, websites can be a bit slow to load, etc.. Theres plenty of free storage, but the PC was built in 2019, so I figured it could do with some upgrading. My current specs are:
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER VENTUS OC
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B450-E GAMING
- Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB
- Monitors: TWO Dell UltraSharp U2518D 25" 2560 x 1440
- Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400S
- OS: Win10, should probably upgrade to 11
I was gonna start by upgrading my CPU to a Ryzen9 5900x, which is affordable and seems to be solid upgrade. I'm also considering upgrading my GPU, but I have no clue what to upgrade to. Any ideas?
I don't want to break the bank on this. Some of my uses cases are light-medium gaming (primarily Runescape, vanilla Minecraft (is that even light? it can be laggy af for me), some Assassins Creed, Bioshock, Subnautica, Cyberpunk, never the latest AAA-releases), photo editing and managmenet on a hobby level, a lot of multi-tasking.
I'll be buying in Norway, I really don't wanna go over 400 USD (edit: thats just for the GPU, not including the CPU) and would prefer to stay well below
Thanks in advance!
Hey everyone,
been looking through a lot of posts and tried a build myself (https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/Kp4TzP). Any recommendations on what I can change or is this a good setup? Basically I want to upgrade from my laptop to a proper computer that doesnt limit me if I decide to play games and is just all around fast even for coming years. I'm a bit over budget but would go for it if it really is a good setup that will rubn smoothly for a long time. Just looking for the best value in money.
Hi, I’m starting from scratch and I will be using this PC for gaming at hopefully 144 frames at 1080p resolution. I would like to build a PC that can stream decent quality to twitch while remaining 144 frames on my end. I would also like to do some moderate to heavy video editing in adobe. Please let me know if the PC parts list below are compatible and can achieve the tasks I need it for. Thanks for any help! (Main components need to stay 1000-1200)
My fiancée and I are finally upgrading our gaming setup and want to put together two pc's that can run anything at 1080p and are easily upgradeable in the future. Ideally they should be around $800 each. I still have a case/monitor/m+k from my current pc while my fiancée doesn't so her pc parts are a bit cheaper to account for the extra cost of her new peripherals. I also want to start dabbling in 144hz 1080p gaming but I'm not sure if the build I put together is capable of that. Let me know if you have any suggestions for improving the builds. Thanks!

Hi all, I'm looking for a bit of PC upgrade, mainly AM5 and case.
This is my upgrade so far: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/ym8tKq
The reason I've gone with the 7900x vs 9900x is price and performance, not gaining much.
The main things I want to upgrade are the MOBO and the case. I use this PC for 3D animation and rendering, so I need a motherboard with two PCIE slots and a case with sufficient room for airflow (prefer air to water cooling for the moment). This is where the x670 MSI motherboard is a good option, and it's one of the only reasonably priced AM5 boards that has two PCIE slots (that aren't at the bottom of the MOBO, which is hard to use with a 2-3 slot GPU.)
I've been looking at the Lian Li 011 XL for a while, and seemingly that's the best I've seen for this usecase. There's also the Meshify 2 XL, but I'm unsure of sufficient room at the bottom because of the psu shroud.
Any suggestions and advice on Cases

planning a build with and want to know if i can get better preformance for a similar price heres the plan right now mobo: gigabyte z790 wifi gpu: rx7600 xt cpu: i7 12700kf fans: 1 noctua nf-a12x15+stock case fans case: corsair 4000d airflow cpu cooler: thermalright frozen infinity 240 psu: corsair rm650 i already have storage and ram thanks!
I want to buy My GF a PC for her birthday. Otherwise i wouldn't have a problem with figuring out the parts myself, but it seems in the couple years i've been out of the PC scene AMD took a leading position in the budget PCs category and i do not know a lot about AMD parts.
My girl plays Counter Strike and GTA, and a bit of everything else, including creating her own mods for Hogwarts Legacy. And the creator kit for that has some pretty high requirements to run... For example; 2080 Ti/6800XT, R7 5800X< or i7 10700K<
Budget is about 1000€, which amounts to about 1200$. I don't think i need much assistance on picking other parts, since they don't seem to have changed much. But GPUs and CPUs are a bit tough for me to figure out
Hello everyone,
I'm building a PC for AI/ML work and gaming. I live close to Microcenter, so I can buy parts from there. Here is my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/B2zGjn
I chose the 7800X3D and 5080. I know the 5080 is hard to get at the moment. Any other suggestions?
I can spend up to $2,500 but prefer not to exceed $2,000.
Do you have any suggestions or advice? Thank you!
Trying to build a PC for my kids to play.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone would be able to review the following pc build and see if it's adequate enough to run games such as black ops 6, rust, siege, cs2 etc at a good enough fps on 1080/1440p. I'm not really that experienced when it comes to pc's and my max budget is £700. Thank you.
Does anyone know a nice fishtank case for under 80€?
Hi, need assistance from fellow partners in assembling a new life. Any help would be kindly appreciated. Cheers!
Trying to build a budget gaming PC, currently this is what I've come up with for roughly $1,000
Any suggestions on component compatibility, better options or anything else are appreciated!
I want to start recording, editing and streaming gaming and podcasting to YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok. I am currently using WiFi, and paying for 1 Gig, 940 Mbps upload and download speeds, although it’s a new apartment so I haven’t tested it yet and can look into wiring in. I’d like to be able to stream direct from PC, I currently play League of Legends and Stardew Valley. I’d also like to stream from my Xbox to my PC for MLB the Show 25. Budget is very flexible, just started a new job, and am willing to save to achieve a better PC.
I was tryna see if I can get a PC that can work for 3D modeling in Blender and be able to run most sim racing games like ACC and iRacing. I also want it to play most games on the internet at over 150 FPS if possible. I don’t plan to play R6 or Fortnite too much, but I just want it to be able to run games like War Thunder, as well as simple games like Minecraft, Terraria, or even Undertale. I also plan to play games like Sea of Thieves or CS:GO and be able to at least power two monitors, like one superwide curved monitor for my sim rig. It should also be good for multitasking, and most of the parts in the PC should be upgradeable later on, like upgrading 16GB of RAM to 32GB in the future. It should also be able to handle most games (close to God of War graphics) at over 120 FPS.
i had someguy reccomended me these parts but im not sure if they are good
AMD ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 Ghz 6core proccessor
AMD Wraith Stealth Cpu cooler
Gigabyte B550M K micro ATX Am4 Motherboard
ASrock challenger D radeon RX 6600 8Gb video card
Silicon power gaming 32Gb ( 2x16gb ) DDR4-3200 CL16 memory
Kingston NV2 1TB M.2-2280 PCLE x4 NVME solid state drive
And everything is on a cooler master masterbox Q300L MicroATX mini tower case
im not really sure if its a good setup but if it isnt can someone build me a setup around my budget? thank you so much
I'm in need of a PC that is fully cable with running Chrome, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat simultaneously and reliably. I'm currently using a 2019 iMac, 3ghz 6-core Intel core i5, Radeon Pro 570x 4Gb, 8gb 2667 ddr4 running Sonoma 14.2.1. It's so slow I want to tear my hair out. I almost rarely run more than 1 program at once and it still runs like a snail.
Hey guys, my nvme is not showing up in bios and when im also trying to install windows.
SPECS:
rtx 3080
asus tuf gaming b650-e wifi
ryzen 7 7800x3d

This is my current parts list so far, I have limited knowledge about a lot of things to do with pcs so I was hoping to get some advice on what I should change or remove to make it cheaper. I do however would like to build around a white gpu, an aio since I like the aesthetic and that ridiculously overpriced case. Thanks in advance!
My budget is 1300e, my build for now is
i want a better ram and motherboard and maybe other processor, if you can suggest what part should i switch please write down

Hey,
Looking for a new rig. I only need the core part (CPU, GPU, Fans, Case, PSU, ...) of the computer, I already have screens, keyboard, mouse, etc.
I'm looking to play new games (such as Monster Hunter Wild, Assassin's creed Shadows, ...) on very high/high parameters on a 1440p screen.
Anything to look for ?
Cheers,
Hello community,
I've come to you for some help.. I'd like to build a new PC that can perform well for my photo edition and gaming. I've never built my own, I'm new to this apart for some reading I've done. I live remote so everything will be bought online (if that's of any concern).
I do quite a bit of photo editing, RAW images through Lightroom. I currently have a 4TB external drive where I keep all my photos so they don't use too much space in my current ASUS laptop. Need to say that this ASUS TUF laptop has been great. I've noticed that Gaming set ups work quite well for photo editing, colours, processor, etc, so i'd like to stick to that. I live in a hot and humid area so one of my main concerns is good air flow to avoid overheating.
Budget wise, I'd like to stay under $3,000 AUD, I'm sure I can put something very decent with that budget, but I'm here to read all your comments.
Edit: Cable internet connection/wifi and bluetooth if possible?
Thanks heaps!!
Good day!
Can you please check my build? https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/vPTgQd
It's my 1st time building a PC but I still have a lot that I don't know about.
I plan to build around Ryzen 5 7600 and RX 7800XT which I think is enough for what I want with some flexibility for higher-demanding games. Feel free to suggest any alternatives if you think there's a better way to go around this that is cheaper.
Budget: <AU$2000
I already have a keyboard, mouse, monitor. Monitor is 1080p w/ freesync which is why I prefer AMD.
Planned Use:
Aesthetic Preference: Micro ATX Form Factor Black Case w/ White Lights
Some questions:
Thanks in advance!
Looking at two prebuilds at the moment that both have the same specs except their CPUs are different.
One has an i7 14700f, one has a ryzen 7 5700x.
Along with a 4070 super and with the intent to game and stream which would work best? I am more than a little lost when it comes to CPUs 😅
Note that I do not care about 4k gaming, since I know that may sway some reasoning.
Hi! I've had my previous PC surrounding a Ryzen 5 2500 and RTX 2060 for almost 5 years now, and I haven't been in the know about PC building since I built it back in 2020. Trying to spend around $2000 USD for something on AM5 and a 50 series GPU (if its worth it). I'm primarily playing games like Cyberpunk 2077 and RDR2. I'm looking to prioritize quietness and don't need anything flashy since I'll be dorming in college come next august. LMK what yall can cook up.
