Weird Occurrence

So I just had one of the worst experiences of my life. I had a tent on my bed, one of those canopies for privacy, and stuff was fine for most of the time that I had it. Just this morning, however, I noticed one big on my bed. I was, unfortunately, pretty sure it was a bed bed. However, I didn't see them anywhere else in the room, so I thought maybe it was just something else. I felt one crawling on me just an hour or so ago though, so I looked in the corners of the tent. Unfortunately, there were a few there, along with some eggs. Ofc I immediately tossed it outside and checked my bed. The weird thing is that there's so evidence of them anywhere else in my room or the house. Bed is free of anything, etc. Is it possible I caught this at the beginning and will be safe with a spray down of my bed and such?

Hello

Hello i have been lurking for awhile unfortunatelyi have been dealing with bedbugs since december around Christmas, when my oldest son came to me with a bug. In January after the holidays i had an termix come in and confirm i had bed bugs in his room. I searched the rest of the house and come to find out my middle child room was the start of the problem. This was the start of the nightmare. At first without any knowledge of how to deal with it i ran to walmart got the raid bed bug killer not knowing that wont work.. so finally after doing research i found crossfire. First spray was feb 9th. I have logged every bite, treatment i have done since then. I have been still finding dead ones in my middle childs room. All the other rooms have had no new bites and not seein any live ones or dead ones. Before anyone goes the bed at night they all shower change clothes put it in bags and i wash the clothing. I vacuum the house twice a day i wash all bedding once a week. The older kids are responsible for vacuuming there rooms. I am afraid of useing cimexa and de because my dog is on seizure meds. And when i spray crossfire she is not here for the day untill i know it has dried. But it dont feel like were beating the war. Its annoying and frustrating. And now its coming into summer were the Mosquitoes are coming out. In my life i have never delt with a bug that is mentally draining, for the first month i layed in bed searching up everything i can to figured this out. Am i missing something? My last spray of crossfire was april 20th. I also want to add that i did buy a steamer but have not used it since i started spraying crossfire. The only thing i do steam is the 2 area rugs that i have. All the floors are hardwood.

Losing my mind

I want to curl into a ball and die. Not really but I'm so stressed.

So two months ago my kiddo was getting these clusters that looked like hives about once a week. Everyone kept telling me it was from sweat because it showed up right as she started basketball, but it was too uniform and I dreaded BB. So because I overreact, I tore her room apart, bagged everything, washed everything, got a bed cover, and laid Diatomaceous Earth. Literally after I did all that, nothing. It lined up with when basketball was over too so everyone kept telling me it was that. I was so relieved.

Now, two months later, today she had a cluster on her shoulder in the photo. My heart sank. It also lined up with her starting track so obviously everyone still doesn't believe me.

We've never seen a single sign of bugs. What do I do because I'm breaking out in a stress rash as we speak. 😭😭😭 thank you in advance.

None of these are bedbugs? (Hopefully)

Hey there. Lived in a townhome for almost 2 years now. Started getting weird hives that disappeared after an hour or so. Started taking allergy medicine and seemingly the hives have stopped showing up.

But, I’ve had bedbugs before several years ago so I still feel on edge.

I’m pretty positive all of these bugs I’ve seen aren’t bedbugs, but the one on the napkin was so small I couldn’t be sure. Typically the small ones aren’t that dark. And it didn’t seem to have the trademark hatches across its body, and once I crushed it the thorax seemed to split to show wings.

Haven’t seen any other signs to make me believe anything bedbuggery is going on. Help me feel more at ease?

How the hell do I find them?

I've been getting bites daily for a while now and today I've had so many show up and I don't know what to do. I feel like tons just hatched and decided to eat the shit out of my hand.

I checked my bed and my interceptors are empty. My mattress and box spring covers are closed with no holes. I couldn't find any in my bedframe. They were confirmed with dogs the other year and treatments didn't get rid of it completely. No one believes me because they don't react to bites

I don't know what to do at this point. My family won't agree to any more treatments unless we find living proof. I'm at a loss.

Bedbugs for 6 months?

Hey yall, I've been dealing with bedbugs since November! It's now may. I've had professionals come do 2 treatments with crossfire, and I've done my own crossfire treatment twice as well. For context I'm in a little studio apt. I went the last 3 weeks without any signs of them at all, no bites or anything. However a few minutes ago I was sitting on the toilet, I look down and there is a massive one on my thigh!! Wtf!! Where would it have come from and why was it feeding under the bright light? It was all bloody when I squished it. At this point I feel like I'm never gonna get rid of these stupid bugs. Any advice is appreciated!!

What are these black specks?

Put this pillowcase on 3 days ago it was clean and now I have just noticed these black specks on it and I am fearing the worst. Any idea what this could be?

Confirmed. Need help plz!

I’m covered in bites and live in Vegas. I wiped everything down and left everything in the car. Now I read on this sub that the heat of car is not enough? I triple bagged everything.

Would wiping my stuff down with Clorox wipes be enough to remove a bed bug? Could the have jumped on the trash bag??? I don’t know what to think, this is making me crazy. I have two pets and a bf and I don’t want this. Obvi no one does.

I want to know how severe does the infestation sound like if I got well over 50 bites within a week.

They do not get bit, and sleep in pitch black dark and go to bed early & their home is mess extremely cluttered & dirty, which is why I came to visit to help, as my friend just had surgery. So I can to support. I mentioned my bites as I did frequently while I was there not thinking about bb 🤦‍♀️ they kept saying mosquitos so I just was like okay. Well I told my friend to check her daughters futon because I was covered in bites and know what they are like cause I’ve dealt with them before…. Her response last night was,

“I’ll see what happens tonight when she sleeps there but we never had an issue before that’s weird”

Text this am: “No bumps on ******”

She has a friend coming from out of town to visit today to go to the pool with her daughter and friends daughter, so that’s why I figured I should tell her. It is likely now the friend and baby will be sleeping in the same spot as I did. I told my bf I doubt she will care because every time I said something about mosquito bites they kind of acted weird about it and would tell me I am like crazy or it’s like a pimple or that’s mosquito bite because I know. So yeah clearly she didn’t bother to check the futon or her bed after her response.

I’ve been to Arizona more than handful time and never got bit by mosquitoes. I should’ve known.

Like could I have bedbugs in my hair and then I wash and it’s in the apartment now? Could I have dragged it in when I emptied everything outside of the car? 😭🥵

They’re Back and I am Emotionally Wrecked

I don’t understand. How is it happening again. It has been over 8 months since they were last here. To be clear, I am VERY allergic. I would know if they had been biting me. I woke up two days ago with bites and was hoping it was just the spring insects because I spend. A lot of time outside. However I just found a shell.

I don’t get how this is happening. We do not live in an apartment, but our home shares a roofline with the neighboring house and I wouldn’t be surprised if they had bedbugs because there’s a lot of transients living there and they have a slum lord. Is that how? Could they?

Could they have been lying in wait somewhere in our home and finally came out?

We thought we got rid of them with crossfire, but I don’t get how they’re back. We are so careful anytime we stay anywhere too.

I’m hopeful that we’re catching it early since I react so badly and have only just had a reaction.

Help and support please 🙏🏻

Edited to add, the time since we dealt with bed bugs was actually over a year and a half ago. My husband corrected me. I guess it seemed like not that long ago, but I confirmed it by going through my phone library.
