I had to leave my job because I was being harassed and management refused to intervene. I have high volume and fine dining experience. Any recommendations? Q
Hello everyone! Like the title says I'll be graduating with my bachelors in business management next month. I have five years military experience (Navy), as well as two project management internships under my belt. One with a construction company in ATL and the other internship was Customer Experience with Coca-Cola.
I've been applying for roles all within the business realm (with a focus on PM work) and haven't been hearing much back. I'm hoping its just because the fiscal year for many places just wrapped up but now with the holiday's coming up I'm worried I may not hear back until the new year.
If anyone knows of any places that would be good for me to keep my eye on please let me know! It's a lot rougher out here than I thought!
The Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation at Johns Hopkins University (the Center) seeks an i-team Data Analytics Manager, Atlanta, GA to support a new Atlanta Innovation Team (“i-team”).
Innovation Teams unlock creativity from within city governments and the communities they serve. These teams take partners and stakeholders through an evidence-based process to tackle the big problems in their cities no one has yet been able to solve, generate more ambitious responses, and test and adapt interventions until they produce impact. They also work closely with the City Hall, the City's leadership team, and City departments to change the culture of city government.
Atlanta is one of 25 U.S. cities joining Bloomberg American Sustainable Cities. Bloomberg American Sustainable Cities is a three-year initiative designed to leverage historic levels of federal funding to incubate and implement transformative local solutions to build low-carbon, resilient, and economically thriving communities. Building on the longtime leadership of U.S. cities to confront the overlapping crises of climate change and racial wealth inequity, the new initiative will provide deep support to selected cities to pursue transformative solutions.
The Data Analytics Manager will create and execute the i-team’s approaches for using quantitative data and methods to understand complex issues at the intersection of climate and racial equity as part of the Bloomberg American Sustainable Cities initiative.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, be proficient in a general programming language (like Python) or a statistical package (R), and an appetite for engaging in non-quantitative aspects of the innovation process. The Data Analytics Manager is an employee of Johns Hopkins University and based in the Atlanta City Hall. They report to the i-team Director.
The first of its kind in the world, the Center is advancing the field of public sector innovation by marrying cutting-edge practice with world-class research to transform the culture of government, deliver exceptional results for residents, and inspire trust in public service. The Center is committed to working with communities focused on ending legacies of structural, entrenched racism and oppression. The Data Analytics Manager must be willing to think about reimagined government, knowledge, and engagement models through the lens of dismantling these legacies.

Hello everyone as you read in the subtitle, my wife is looking for work. She has a masters degree in business management. We have applied to the big companies here for many positions but she hasn’t even gotten an interview back. We’ve also applied at retailers Best Buy, Lowe’s TJ Maxx, etc. really this is just a plea if anyone knew any recruiters or had any connections to at least get her an interview talk and meet with someone she’s been so eager to work. we have been applying for jobs for her for over a year and nothing has landed even a simple interview and that is for all remote positions in Georgia or hybrid or on site
Hello I have customer service- help desk and front desk experience I can work remote or in office. Have two kids and need a job as soon as possible. Or maybe help with resume not sure. But need work.
As titled. I have experience in Supply Chain and Logistics currently with a sizable company in my area, but ultimately I’d like to move back to Atlanta in 2-3 years, maybe earlier if the chance arises.
I’m familiar with the more notable companies like Home Depot, Coca Cola, and Microsoft, but whoever pays is a win in my book. I tried r/atlantajobs and saw it was dead.
The closer I can live to proper/downtown the better as my husband and I prefer the culture there than where we currently live, but I’m willing to go more northward (Marietta/Kennesaw) or eastward (Buford/Gainesville)
Thanks!
Hey guys. I've been applying to jobs non stop and had 0 to no luck. My girlfriend is pregnant and I'm hoping to find a reasonable paying jobs. I'm looking for a blue collar job, I've applied to all the big companies and no luck. I have experience working on bridges.

Hi everyone! My name is Grant Shimer, and I just wanted to come on here and introduce myself.
About Me
I’m 19 years old and live in Alpharetta. I’m currently a student at Liberty University Online. Last year, I studied in person at Liberty University, where I swam competitively at a high level for the D1 team. Swimming has been a major part of my life, and being able to compete at this level was an incredible experience. However, I’ve recently transitioned to online studies to focus more on gaining real-world work experience.Outside of academics and swimming, I’m passionate about the outdoors—I love camping, hiking, and generally spending time in nature. I’ve also developed a strong entrepreneurial spirit over the years. I’ve owned and operated two fully functioning businesses and have competed in various school business competitions. In my sophomore year of high school, I wrote a business-growth plan that won first place at the regional, state, and national levels, and I even made it to the top five internationally! I love working and find it incredibly rewarding.
Experience
As I mentioned, I’ve had the opportunity to run two businesses. My first and most successful venture was NottingHillDesignsCo, which I started halfway through my freshman year of high school. It began with me making custom wooden necklaces using a laser machine. Over time, I developed the idea of creating 2-D wooden map cutouts of nearby lakes, complete with a bottom layer of blue representing the water. After numerous prototypes and a few failed attempts, I finalized a design that I began selling to family and eventually on an Etsy store. In the first year, sales exceeded $100,000! As the business grew, I launched a website and expanded my product line. Over the years, NottingHillDesignsCo generated over $500,000 in sales. Just recently, I sold the business to someone who I believe will continue to grow it further. Managing this business taught me invaluable lessons in customer relations, production management, and problem-solving, all of which I’m eager to bring to a larger company. My second business is a smaller venture that I run during the summer. I noticed that many neighbor's mailboxes were dirty, and few seemed to clean them—so I stepped in to fill that niche. I pitched the idea to neighborhoods in my area, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. I used my skills in Excel and business knowledge to create a website and organize all the data when someone signed up. Though smaller in scale, this business has been a lot of fun to run and grow from scratch.
What I’m Looking For Right Now
I’m currently seeking a job opportunity where I can apply my skills and experience. My main expertise lies in working with Excel, where I’ve developed strong proficiency in managing data, organizing information, and creating detailed spreadsheets for my businesses. While I’d love to find a role that allows me to utilize and further develop these Excel skills, I’m open to any opportunity that allows me to learn and contribute. I’m eager to start working and would be grateful for any leads or advice. Thank you for taking the time to read my post, and I look forward to connecting with you all!

I am a freshman at Georgia State University looking for guidance toward getting an internship. I have just started learning Python and have some knowledge about HTML, and CSS from my high school. What is the best thing that I can do at the moment to be able to bag an internship this summer or the next one?
Hey everyone,
I’m looking to transition out of the service industry after 10 years of working as a server, where I’ve developed strong customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. I’ve spent the last few years at The WhiteBull in Decatur as a closer and was proud to be part of the team when we earned a mention in the Michelin Guide.
I graduated from Kennesaw State with a degree in Communications, and I’m eager to apply my education in a new career. In addition to my service experience, I’ve developed IT skills and have a passion for creative work. I’m an amateur filmmaker and a photographer, and I currently produce a weekly Dungeons & Dragons game night. These projects have honed my abilities in project management, storytelling, and event coordination.
I’m looking for opportunities in communications, media production, IT, or anything that blends these skills. I’m detail-oriented, creative, and always ready to learn something new.
If anyone has advice or knows of any openings in the Atlanta area, I’d love to hear from you!
Thanks so much for your time and help!
