So I would like to ask about the experiences you have with charts when the planet is for example exalted but the sign’s ruler is debilitated vs the planet being in detriment in a sign that the sign’s ruler is domicile and example being.

Sun in Aries and mars in taurus.

And for the other scenario

Mercury in sagittarius and Jupiter in Pisces.

I have recently became interested in Traditional Astrology where the use of outer planets such as Uranus, Neptune and Pluto as well asteroids isn't adopted.

Hence, in Traditional System, a planet can rule two signs. For example, Aries and Scorpio are both ruled by Mars in Traditional system and of course that changes the reading significantly.

In your experience, which method have you found more accurate?

Hello everyone! Since last year that I've been reading and seeing a lot of astrologer claiming that 2026 will be catastrophic, and that major events and conjunctions that are happening now (and April is full of them) are to prepare us for the year of 2026, where things will get really crazy.

Any good sources or websites that make it easy to learn about astrology and reading charts?

I recently became interested in Astrology, but as someone who knows near to nothing, it feels a bit overwhelming looking into where to begin to study/read up on things. Is there any good books (or even websites) out there that are beginner friendly or very well establishes fundamentals on the subject?

I’ve been watching Full Moon and New Moon readings on yt and was curious how long those energies or predictions are for. Is it from cycle to cycle? Or is it a few days after the moon phase?

How would a sign manifest, if the planet that rules the sign is averse to it?

Just curious about what is considered low, average, and beyond when it comes to the number of trines in a synastry chart. What is the most trines you've seen between 2 people?

How to find your chart ruler if you don't know it yet:

1. Find your ascendant/rising.
2. Identify the planet that rules your ascendant/rising.
3. Identify the planet that rules your ascendant/rising in your birth chart and its sign.

Hello, I have been studying astrology pretty seriously for about a year now and am only becoming more invested. This past week it dawned on me that it might be a good idea to start keeping track of events that happen in my life and the dates of such events ....that way I can go back and draw astrological conclusions, of course. But I'm overwhelmed about the way in which I should organize this information. To all the other astrologers out there, what do you use to keep track of your life events/transits..... A journal? Digitally? What kind of events do you keep track of? Are there any good products online that help with this? Hoping to get some inspiration for how to organize my astrological data.

Where do an astrologer look in a birth chart to find answers about health and illness?

My preliminary thoughts:
• is it mainly looking at the 6th house ruler + aspects?
• how important are the planets present in the 6th house?
• are other houses than the 6th relevant regarding health/illness of the body?
• are there any one planet or sign (or more?) that can reveal something about whether a person has a good immune system or is prone to one type of affliction or other?

I have been trying to study synastry charts between myself and others and also between couples that I know. I am not sure if I understand what these charts are supposed to show though?

Since the synastry charts sometimes have many positive aspects but the couples were not happy at all. There was cheating involved, addiction problems, issues with abuse and bullying etc for many years.

And in other cases there were charts that so many negative aspects (for instance between Pluto and mars) but the couples were happy together. Living in respectful and loving relationships.

How can this be?

Im sure this has been asked before, but how do i know which sign a house is in when it's in 2 signs.

For example lets say a house starts in virgo but majority is in libra, would i then say x house is in virgo because thats where it originally started, or is it in libra because it is mostly in libra. Or do both play a factor?

This placement is confusing to me, a beginner. Does this show a “dumb” person? This was the only way it was described to me, sorry. I am confused with it really. Could it just be the individual has a tough time mastering that placement? I would appreciate if someone could clarify this for me or give examples of folks with this placement, thank you.

I’ve been interested in astrology for three years now. However, I’ve found studying it on my own to be somewhat unfulfilling and challenging. I am looking to learn astrology through a more structured, systematic course.

After some research, I am torn between the London School of Astrology and the Faculty of Astrological Studies. Both institutions offer detailed course structures, but I’m unsure which one would be better for an online format.

Has anyone here taken courses from either of these schools? I would appreciate your insights and recommendations. Additionally, if you have suggestions for other reputable online astrology courses, please share them!

How can we tell from a natal chart indication of divorce when the 7th house is empty?

Do we look at the 7th house ruler and look at the aspects? If it is retrograde and debilitated does it also indicate the 1st marriage will end in divorce?

For the second marriage, do you look at the 9th house or the 11th house?

How important is a septile as an aspect?

I am just wondering how do the positions of celestial bodies at the moment of one's birth influence their personality traits and life events, according to astrological principles?

What placement(s) of yours or someone you know has been real proof for you that astrology is 100% real? Or perhaps not a placement but a transit that has occurred?

What is key for understanding ourselves, our best career or etc. in the birth chart? There are placements of the astronomical bodies both in signs and houses, then there are aspects. Which of these is most significant when reading a birth chart?

Can anyone help me with the Malefic and Benefic what do they mean when talking about placement in a House or House Ruler? Thanks in advance.

Is there some website where one can see the planetary positions, especially for outer planets, for years far away from now, for example 10,000 BCE or 10,000 CE? Any ephemeris like that? I think with astro-seek, one can only see between the range 500 CE to 2500 CE.

Has anyone ever done astrology for sports championships? Someone I follow on TikTok used the natal chart of the team to figure out their championship odds for the SupeBowl. I was wondering if people have done this in the past especially with NBA playoffs starting.

i use the pattern but it’s just not making any sense lately so i need a better one

Just curious about how Libra and Sagittarius interact with the signs in which their ruling planet exalts.

Almost all the other signs, either trine or sextile(like Aries and Leo, Taurus and cancer, Scorpio and Capricorn etc ) the signs in which their planets exalt.

Only Libra and sag seem to break this pattern. What do you guys think?
