My Breakdown of Melikbekyan's announcement

Alot of excuses. Shameless really. lets break down some of it.

How about this line?
One of the first excuses he says. So, what are these fundamental changes that we will see in time? People that have accomplished zero say these kind of words to keep their job for as long as possible. Promise something good will happen later in time. Basic psychology of a child here.

Next?
Like what? What did you do to produce a positive result for Armenian football federation? Again, promises something good has happened with zero to back it up.

He blames someone else for lack of progress, basic psychology of a child. So a club or two is giving you some shit? Well, as the locals in Yerevan often tell me about shit I encounter,

Try's to be introspective (mature) here:
Yes, you are supposed to come up with the standards for all the clubs to follow in youth football and it's development. Yet you haven't done anything in this regard. null. He is trying to bring up faults that may seem small to come out as the bigger person. In reality, this is absolutely a huge issue that needed attention 30 years ago and as he admits, is still an issue.

Again, he is being introspective here, admitting to to a "small" issue, But is actually a bad thing. "Where the fuck are you?" comes to mind. He does not communicate with these stakeholders, parents of youth academy players, fans, people, and the media. Instead, he never shows face. Could it be, that he has nothing to show to get people united?

I have no idea who this message is meant for, but this is classic blame shifting. This is his problem as Head of Armenian Football Federation. Saying there are bad people you have to deal with is an excuse for a child. Complaining about bad people doing bad things. Like you said, these kind of people exist everywhere in the world and all facets of life. If you can't deal with it then you should resign...

This part made me laugh and quit reading:
LOL where do I even start with this? What a thing to say! A poor defense of his failures with hypotheticals... What an absolutely ridiculous thing to say! This sentence right here... this line.... this should be a meme. The one thing we remember him by, forever. Absolute stupidity...

I couldn't read anything anymore after this... I am 100% convinced, Melikbekyan is an absolute MAN-CHILD and has ZERO knowledge of football or even how to RUN A BASIC organization...
What a fucking shame....

Michel Der Zakarian should take over the NT.

Yerevan born & former international is now free after having been sacked by Montpellier.

Ive always considered his style as ideal for Armenia. He regularly outperformed in L1 with low budget teams thanks to a rigorous defensive organisation and swift counter attacks. No non sense, no joga bonito, but extreme discipline, clockwork aggressive pressing and solidarity, fast deep play projections.

He is in his low 60s so now is the ideal time to give him the NT for a long term project.

I dont think he will remain free a longtime, a L1 team could hire him for a commando mission to avoid relegation, or a L2 team aspiring to promotion, since he has a solid track record in leading L2 teams to L1.

The question is about his willingness to join the mess surrounding the federation...

How does the Armenian football divisions system works?

There's 2 professionnal divisions (Fastex Premier League and First Armenian League), but what's happening under these divisions ? I know that there's an amateur league but can they be promoted to the 2nd division ?

What happened to those clubs?

Recently, I rewatched the Noravank - Urartu (2-0) Armenian cup final, and I have questions. What happened to Noravank, Sevan, Lori? Is there any particular reason of them dissolving?

The Need for a New Federation: Time to Stop Blaming the Coach!

It’s time for a new federation, not a new coach. Let me explain why I think that. There are probably around 100 thousand Armenian football fans, maybe even more, and it’s high time to replace the federation. This kind of clownish behavior contributes nothing to the development of our football and only highlights how poorly the federation is functioning. Just look at the recent results of the women's national team, the youth teams, and now the men's team.

Let me remind you that the coach has previously won a World Cup with a youth team that faced comparable, if not stronger, opponents. You might wonder why he can't find success with the Armenian national team. The answer is simple: there are too many weak spots in the team, such as the right-back position, the defense, and the lack of a midfielder, which prevents Petrakov from playing his preferred 4-3-3 formation. He’s pointed this out himself, and on top of that, Spertsyan could play more offensively, just like he does for Krasnodar.

Many of the poor players in the team are there simply because we have no choice, and because the federation is too lazy to scout new talents. Or they’re included because of their connections, as otherwise clowns like Kamo wouldn’t have a place in the national team. It’s time for the clubs, players, and fans to stand up against the federation. Players like Iwu, Cancarevic, and Zelarayán deserve to win, but they’re being held back by the federation.

Moreover, the federation won’t achieve its goals, which is yet another reason for reform. On top of that, they’re also hindering Armenian clubs with their childish games.

As Johan Cruyff once said: "Football is simple, but the hardest thing to do is play simple football."
