I remember playing the motor storm pacific rift, arctic edge and apocalypse and thought that with the new tier system in ps plus and how the higher tiers have previous console games and how motorstorm was a Playstation exclusive. Could we get the Motorstorm games on PS4/5 through the new PS Plus? I think it's possible especially seeing as it was exclusive to Playstation.

As the title says! I recently started playing motorstorm rc ( bought in a panic when they announced they where closing down the ps store for vita) because I always was curious if it was decent. So far, I've enjoyed it in small bursts. The control scheme isn't great for me, the boosting (such an important mechanic for motorstorms gameplay) is not there and the overall spectacle is lower.

But for short bursts of gameplay it's alright. I think this games reputation would be better if we didn't already have arctic edge on psp! I mean when you can have proper motorstorm gameplay on a portable console, it feels like settling when they come out with this spin off. Arctic edge on my vita is one off my most played games.

So yeah, I guess I'm curious because it rarely gets mentioned here or anywhere

I wanna play the dlc with out having to buy the complete edition. I just need to update the game some how

with online shut off, i suspect a lot of people wouldn't be able to get a lot of the content, like customization options and DLC that are aspects of the multiplayer.

If we could keep a complete save around, do you think we could transfer that save to the emulator? would be sweet to be able to play with the stuff that was already in the game.

I recently saw an article saying the PS5 might have backwards compatibility with PS3 games. Maybe motorstorm could have a little comeback?

Is the Castro Varadero slower than the Molotov Drago? Or do they both go at the same speed??

There's gotta be people here who loved racing the Motorstorm series ONLINE like I did back in the day. I know arcade racing, especially multiplayer, is out of fashion on consoles now, but I'm trying to find something. Got Driveclub a while ago, dead. I'd rather not just buy everything first and then find out there's nobody racing online, so I thought I'd ask here.

You guys who got good at Motorstorm online back in the day, where are you now?

I want to hear suggestions from other fans of the ms series as to what I should be playing.

I have been playing Gravel, its fun enough but its not as over the top as motorstorm is. I especially liked the buggy dlcpack for it.

What i play all the time is motorstorm arctic edge on my psvita. Its so easy to pick up since its on a portable, but i've gotten to the point where I'm just not good enough to beat the remaining lvls anymore.

On rush i haven't tried, but it just doesn't look appealing to me. Ik want to try and be the first without having to deal with the team mechanics.

First off I'm not talking about motorstorm RC, but it is similar to chase mode.

In micromachines if you are too slow you get eliminated, until 1 person is left on the screen. The point is to gain points by not being eliminated. If you are unfamiliar, look up micromachines v4 on ps1.

What if anyone too far from first place in motorstorm spawns ahead of 1st place when they respawn. So that one crash at the start of the race doesn't mean you never see anyone. And the person in first doesn't have to slow down to race with friends.

The winner then is anyone who stays in first place the most. Or the person with the least forced respawns. It could also be a elimination mode with 10 lives.

The main goal of the game mode is to keep everyone near each other. Because motorstorm is less about racing and more about wrecking each other.
