READ OUR WIKI:
Welcome! You've found Reddit's awesome affiliate marketing community.
Our goal is to encourage ourselves and others to make money by selling affiliate products and tools through websites, social media, webinars, affiliates, and email marketing.
DO NOT PROMOTE YOUR PROGRAM AS A POST OUTSIDE OF THE THREAD FOR AFFILIATE OFFERS OR YOU WILL BE BANNED. uSE THE sticky thread for this.
Mash that "report" button if you feel like something doesn't contribute anything helpful. We have active mods that are working to create a helpful, spam-free environment. If you don't think something looks right, flag it!
This is our space to talk about what works, what doesn't, and what's new in the world of affiliate marketing. Topics include PPC, SEO, CPA offers, traffic generation, affiliate programs, affiliate networks, and everything related to AM.
Whether you're here to share your experiences or simply learn from others in the field, we welcome you to /r/Affiliatemarketing and look forward to your participation in the sub.
RULES All of our rules are about spam. There are many ways to spam and we hoped we have them all covered here:
Spam. Don't spam. If you are posting about John Crestini or any other coaching guru program, it is automatically considered spam. You will be immediately banned. The community has made it clear that they do not want this type of post.
Affiliate offers. No unsolicited advertising of affiliate programs. Use the sticky thread: *POST YOUR OFFER IN THE STICKY THREAD AS A COMMENT. *TAG IT WITH THE "AFFILIATE OFFER FLAIR." *MUST CONTAIN A BRIEF DESCRIPTION AND LINK BOTH TO THE INFORMATION PAGE AND THE AFFILIATE SIGN UP PAGE. *MUST BE A SPECIFIC OFFER. (NO LINKS TO THE HOMEPAGE OF CLICKBANK OR JVZOO OR SIMILAR NETWORK. MUST LINK TO A SPECIFIC PRODUCT OR OPPORTUNITY. All offers that violate this will be removed and the user banned.
Inserting links in posts and comments. *Any links not part of a larger discussion (i.e., blatant attempts to farm backlinks) will be removed as will links where we cannot tell if there is a tracking code. *Links to websites or blogs containing a sales page/sign up will be removed. *Links to "Guru's" or high priced coaching programs will be removed. (and the community will hate you;) *Links to tools must be in the sticky thread for offers. Want to recommend something as part of a discussion? Great. Use the name, not the link.
This community is intended solely for ethical online promotion techniques. That said, let's talk black hat tactics too

Where does their actual revenue come from?
This is what you need to know about online income claims.
Look for these details when someone talks about passive income:
Most won't share these because:
When they sell courses about passive income, remember - YOU are the income stream.
I always thought you needed a CFP license to be able to directly give financial advice and/or recommend financial products. However, some of the biggest finance sites have tools that specifically recommend the "best credit card for you" or "best bank account". For instance, one tool puts you through a bunch of questions regarding your credit and spending habits and ultimately recommends the "highest matching" credit card for you, which is an affiliated product they receive commission from if you click through, apply, and get approved.
Are these affiliated products - credit cards, bank accounts, brokerages, etc. - not considered financial products, or is recommending very specific ones like the above ("we think this is the best credit card for you given what you've told us") not considered direct financial advice requiring a license, like recommending a stock or etf would? Is it because they're paid by the partner and not directly by the user?
What happens if a user defaults on their card/loses money with the brokerage/whatever and blames the site for the recommendation?
I was accepted into the program today. I can’t figure out how to receive products or message vendors for items for videos.
I keep reading I have to post 3 videos and the creator central says my account is coming up for review. Do I post 3 videos of 3 Amazon products I already have in Amazon app where there likes Amazon reels?
My TikTok is what go me into the program, but it’s random videos that have gotten likes lol. Do I post these 3 videos on TikTok too and take down some random videos? I am going to try and target a specific audience, but idk where Amazon wants these videos posted. My plan is to use this affiliate program to gain followers on TikTok and try to get into the TikTok shop reviews.
If need to do anything else, if you can let me know please.
Thanks.
Hey all! I'm freelancing for a small start up that's growing FAST. They currently have about 400 affiliates and we are using UpPromote on Shopify to manage them. I'm in charge of finding a new software platform to support growth and scale the business to larger network, etc.
Cost will be a factor bc of the infancy of this company.
I am going to have a demo with Commission Junction as well as Awin. Any others I should consider? My boss would like a competitive analysis of the ones I demo. Thanks!
EDIT TO ADD: the 400 affiliates we currently have are very small; mostly individuals looking to get compensated for promotion. Ideally, with the new platform or an agency add on like Advertise Purple, we can scale the program with bigger affiliates/partners I won’t have reach for.
I'm new to this, so I apologize if this is not a great question, but... I want to put amazon ads on my website and if folks click through and make purchases then I get a small percentage. Is this possible?
If it is, do I have to select the product or can I have it to where Amazon fills the ad?
Thanks!
I'm looking to push out a my clients services by using top tier affiliates in B2B.
Their clients are SMBs with outbound sales call centers and contact center operations.
I’ve seen those Ai art or Ai animation clips go viral but I don’t think that’s super monetizable. None of the top accounts have an affiliate link or a sponsor that I’ve seen- they’re purely passion projects. Criticize me but I am extremely shy and introverted and unwilling to put myself out there in video form or voice. I feel like all my ideas for viral content have very little potential to monetize. Your advice would be very helpful.
Hello fellow Redditors! 👋
I’m part of the team at Affilyflow, and we’re working to build a leading affiliate network. Right now, we are still pretty new, but a growing network with only a few stores ATM, but we’re on a mission to expand and bring even more brands into the fold.
To make it more rewarding for everyone, we’ve updated our Referral Program to be more attractive and flexible:
This change ensures that you’ll earn from active referrals, making it a better deal for everyone involved!
We’d love to hear your feedback on the program or the network, and discuss how we can build Affilyflow into a leading network that’s as beneficial for affiliates as it is for brands.
If you’re interested, check out our platform or drop me a DM to chat about affiliate marketing, our referral program, or anything else.
A few months ago, I was making canvas posts for my Amazon affiliate marketing business. The posts were centered around technology products, and my goal was to help people make conscious and superb decisions for purchases.
I tried TikTok and Instagram posts to generate traffic, and all have failed. It was because I didn't have an audience from the start, and I didn't have "videos where I show my face."
Everyone has a similar idea, and only a few get through. Luck? Paid views for traffic? I do not know how they do it haha....
So how can I start generating traffic for the clicks? I also want to help others, as stated before.
Ok, so, from previous experience, I can only tell you that the number one reason most affiliates fail, is procrastination. Overplanning, being overstimulated, there’s basically too much information going back and fourth, so everyone is having a tough time filtering that information accordingly.
Start networking, figure out a way you can actively help people and provide actual value to them, create connections, constantly invest in yourself, analyze, get as much feedback as possible, improve and repeat.
This is pretty much the formula that has changed everything for me. From that moment forward, I started to feel like I actually built something for myself and that it has meaning.
Choose a trusted Affiliate Network, only promote the products that you’d personally consider buying for yourself and keep people’s best interest in mind, trust me, they can sense when you’re just trying to make a sale, regardless of their needs.
“A dream without a plan is just a wish”-Katherine Paterson
So keeping that in mind, start taking action, you don’t need to wait for the perfect time to try. Hope you guys are having an awesome day!
Last post on this was 2 yrs ago .. So i'm asking again ... I'm only using them because Lowes is advertiser.. they don't have their own affiliate program .. and Sovrn is only platform I can find for them...If anyone else knows a different platform for Lowes let me know.. t
I have a youtube video product review ... that links to Lowes page with that exact product Report says 31 clicks Sept-OCT 0 page views, $0 earnings ...
since audience already know the product and price is really good at Lowes and its often discounted .. and most well known name in home appliances... It's hard to believe 31 clicks and not a single sale?!
thanks

Hi, I'm new to affiliate marketing and was wondering how I could make it work even though I have no audience or channels to target a customer base. Are there any tools or methods that can allow me to touch a big larket without having to go through the process of either becoming an influencer that "tests" new product or spending tons on online ads hoping it'd reach people enough to make them interested? Thanks in advance!
Could someone help me do email marketing? I'm interested but I can't find anything about it
Hi all,
I’d appreciate if I can have some advice from those with experience.
For a mid-size brand that sells premium computer peripherals, what is the best way to start leveraging affiliate marketing to drive sales in the USA and Europe?
When it prompts me for the linked in page it requires that the link includes /your-profile or /your-business or something like that. But anywhere and everywhere on my LinkedIn even the link it gives u to share ur profile it does not include this in the link. It won’t let me submit my application because it requires the /your profile stuff in the link. Pls help
I just got accepted into the Tradedoubler affiliate program but don't know how to get the affiliate links.
On the FAQ page it mentions there are popular plug n play plugins for this, but can I use them for Wix? I have more experience with Wordpress so I'm unsure of Wix. If, so can anyone suggest some.
Tradedoubler seems lacking in thorough info. Other programs are easy, but I'm struggling with this one.
What are your experiences?
I'm seeing many affiliates running what seems like AI voiceover ads on youtube that link out different affiliate products from different networks.
Any idea as to where they are getting all these cheaply made youtube videos created?
I've checked around and haven't seen anything that makes sense for youtube ads.
Thanks!!
Hi, as title says, should I get a course? Is it worth it? If yes, do yall know any real good course? I am somehow worried because there are many gurus online selling courses here and there. I am looking for a good course from someone who really knows affiliate marketing. Lemme know your thoughts about this. Tysm
It’s not like they can get u to confirm whether or not it’s yours unless the affiliate program is owned by the platform exp. Tiktok
Do they monitor the fake social and terminate your contract if you aren’t posting ads? (Probably not)
If they see you’re generating sales but not on any linked pages they’ll prolly just assume u have another social that u forgot to attach.

After spending a century applying to 50 rakuten (affiliate network) I was notified that my account was being terminated because the web link was broken. (Because everything tiktok related seemingly never works) Then when I provided them with my insta instead they said sorry u need 500 followers and 5 posts in the last 6 months we’re still terminating you.
Is there a network that has no requirements? Even better- one with no requirements that doesn’t require u to provide a link? My preferred platform is TikTok but all tiktok links just don’t work.
I tried clickbank but I couldn’t get their website to work/not be bugged on ios or desktop.
Hello everyone! I'm stepping into affiliate marketing with hopes to eventually make it my main job. I have some extra money from my current well-paying job that I want to use to get a good start.
I’m looking for advice from those who have been successful in affiliate marketing. What are the best ways to spend my money to speed up my progress? I'm thinking about things like buying ads, hiring people to create content, or getting software that provides market insights.
I’d also appreciate any tips on good learning resources that could help me with affiliate marketing. What has worked for you? What hasn’t? What do you wish you knew when you started?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and tips!
Where do you go to check your tiktok eligibility to become a tiktok creator affiliate. Everything I see online is for sellers to find affiliates for their products but how do you actually become an affiliate? Why is this so convoluted?
I'm new to affiliate marketing. I was thinking of using organic social accounts to promote courses and subscription services. I am thinking of using shorts, reels, and short-form content.
Which platform is best and worst for this, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube?
You think getting into the Digital Products niche is difficult?
Well, let’s take Udemy’s Affiliate Program, for instance.
You’ll use a platform like Reddit or Quora, get into different niche subreddits or topics, doesn’t matter what niche, it could be whatever you choose, but let’s say you go for SMMA(Social Media Marketing Agency), since it’s currently trending.
You go on Udemy, choose a free course on SMMA, just so you can have an idea on their business model. You get into the subreddit, and start giving advice for free, so people would recognize you as being someone who knows what he’s talking about.
You use your website to “centralize” the best courses for SMMA beginners, all with your affiliate links. Once you learn more on it, you can even create your own course on it and promote it via your website.
This is pretty much as simple as it gets. It doesn’t seem like much, but trust me, it works.
Be genuine, care about your audience, and the money will come. This is the best advice that I can give you based on my 4 years of experience in this field, don’t sell the product, sell the experience and the result.
As the titles, says, I am planning blog to list all freebies, deals, coupons. But not sure how to get information on deals, coupons, discounts. for a deals, freebies blog? how to use such a blog for affiliate marketing as well?

I'm interested in knowing what sites and businesses are thriving from affiliate marketing or selling ads. I'm sure there are 1000's but probably millions that make next to nothing.
What are some of the success stories? Can you share links, traffic and revenue estimates. I'm keen to learn about the solopreneurs making a decent living all the way up to the big players.
When I was young I did a little affiliate marketing in the early 2000s (I think Peerfly was just launching when I stopped) and now years later I am looking for affiliates for a D2C brand. Any suggestions on where to find solid affiliates who specialize in D2C ecom brands? Our target market is the Male 18-34 age demo.
